  1. Beane does this every year, provides short term comp by signing a bunch of fringe starter/depth guy after the market calms down
  2. The one area that stands out is CB that’s gotta be a 1st or 2nd rounder
  3. The team plays better in controlled environments and your now a passing team with a QB who will be around 10 more years hopefully. Build a dome
  4. It is easier if your going off of what teams did last year and retirements and such.
  5. Prob bringing a guy in to see if they can untap that potential. Maybe a hybrid possibility? They still need one and have clearly been looking for one since they got here. Bush Neal Marlowe
  6. I like Meinerz a lot, better prospect than Ali Marpet coming out IMO. Problem I see is he’ll probably go somewhere between 30 and 60 so unless the Bills trade down from the 1st or up in the 2nd(don’t put it past Beane) he prob won’t drop all the way to 60
  7. How bout the two guys from Northern Iowa, you wanna talk about two small school freaks. Spencer Brown OT Elerson Smith DE
  8. Out of all the Edge guys, I think I like Azeez Oujlari the best but idk how he fits, he’s about 6’2 250. I think I’d roll the dice there at 30 if he’s still there we need a true 1T to replace Star who clearly won’t be here after next year.
  9. i think there is a lot more upside with Pitts than any other TE. I guess it would depend how much we’re giving up to get him. If he’s going 7 then no if he’s going 20 then yes
  10. Samuel is a good but overrated prospect. 2nd/3rd round. Same with Nas, I think the Bills would most be interested in him out of these guys. Wilson(selfish), Robinson(Tarzan but Jane), and Kaindoh(injury prone and same as Robinson in description) pass on all 3 of these guys. Terry basically got booted from the team last year, a one trick pony with questionable hands and character
  11. The only one is Kyle Pitts, I wouldn’t do it personally, I think this is a great year to trade down into the beginning of round 2 personally. Our needs better match value there than 30 unless the plan is RB. I honestly think they want a hybrid LB/Safety early and there are some intriguing options
  12. A lot of these updates tell me they are still looking for a big nickle type. They wanted Duggar bad last year , should have taken Chinn, but should have plenty of opportunities for one early this year
  13. The problem I see is the CB class for the draft is rather pedestrian. They must be really high on Dane Jackson. The Bills can get a pass rusher at 30 but idk if theres going to be a corner at 30 that fits the Bills except for the Syracuse CB Melifonwu. I could still see a TE at 30 but not much there either. To me , RB is starting to look more and more likely as any other spot at 30 or in a 2nd round trade down scenario
  14. no it’s not, either is John Brown. Players released don’t count
  15. Two guys I find intriguing are Tanoh KPassagnon from the Chiefs who started for them and could be the edge setter type. The other is Demarcus Walker who was a star pass rusher at FSU and has been stuck behind some good pass rushers in Denver. Neither is a star but would be upgrades in depth, are younger, and have bigger body types . Two guys with upside that haven’t hit their potential yet
  16. The CB market was really slow on day 1 and has a lot of options in general. The numbers on some of these guys are going to be low. Might be where we can get a deal.
  17. I’ll go a little off the board. Daniel Sorensen Safety from Kansas City. Big Nickle type, good scheme fit, knows the Chiefs, fits a need, could come cheaperish
  18. Dupree doesn’t fit the Bills scheme, Lawson and Hendrickson do though
  19. I can’t see him back. Some team is gonna want a young CB who has started a lot of games that can come fairly cheap on the market. I though someone might offer sheet him if the Bills put the original tender on him
  20. I just have a sneaky feeling Carl Lawson or Trey Hendrickson are our guy. Beane gonna do some nightcap Voodoo.
  21. I think RB, CB, Big Nickel are the big need but I could still see WR, TE, OL still
  22. Pats wheeling and dealing rn. Overpaid for Jonny Smith. All about upside but he had to prove it. just signed NT Devon Godchaux as well
  23. Tomorrow at noon the negotiating window opens
  24. He had motivation issues when he was at FSU because the culture at FSU stunk under Willie Taggart which led to him leaving FSU for Bama. I think Guard is a real possibility, I honestly think that Quinn Meinerz the Center Guard from Whitewater could be the guy. Checks the Buffalo boxes: Loves Cold Weather Meets a need Value will be about right Fits into power scheme Versatile can play Guard/Center Small School guy who is a hard worker
