  1. I believe that the AAC makes about 7 million dollars more per team than the MAC as it currently stands. I think UB should make that push to go to the AAC and may need Temple to push for them strongly. I think Buffalo would be a team considered but the attendance numbers that Buffalo produces aren’t appealing. Plus if I was the AAC I’d focus on continuing the push for top level upcoming football programs. If I’m going after 4 teams I’m looking at App State, Coastal Carolina and Boise for sure(prob won’t happen but take that shot on Boise). I’d also settle for Army, Navy, Marshall, Toledo. Buffalo would be in the mix but I don’t think they’d be in the top 7 options or so to replace those 4 schools
  2. when Sweeney is healthy, I would argue he has as much upside as Knox. I like Sweeney a lot. He has solid hands and a good blocker just can’t stay healthy. If he cab stay on the field he could end up TE 1
  3. Hamlin is making the roster regardless dude has been solid and a playmaker so far. Loved the guy coming out and he hasn’t disappointed
  4. sounds about right maybe Isaiah Hodgins or Sweeney they are trying to keep, idk of another guy that could go on long term IR unless it’s Stevenson or Doyle but both played last week By thin we’re talking Knox, Sweeney, and Gilliam
  5. outside of maybe 5-7 guys. I mean right now Nate Becker was the “hardest” decision so far so far from brutal. I’d be interested if Becker wants to go back to the PS because he’s been on it the last couple of years already or if he seeks another opportunity
  6. So far: Kerryith White RB Antonio Williams RB Tanner Gentry WR Brandon Powell WR Nate Becker TE Quinton Morris TE Jack Anderson OG Jamil Douglas OG Tim Harris CB
  7. I would have held steady for a 5th. I get the hands are tied a bit but he’s got two years of team control left, has really good upside as a DE and a very good ST already. plus he was a 7th rounder and a 5th just seems like a better return on investment
  8. Would I have picked up the option? Yes I would have to see if he can be that guy still. He’s only 23. Would I give him a monster extension? The answer is no
  9. My thought is it’s gotta be well give up Obada or Addison. Beane spoke highly of Johnson on STs (maybe that’s GM speak) but usually Beane is a straight shooter. Addison was also out there pretty late for a veteran guy
  10. no but prob whether they want to keep him on the ps or not
  11. prob want to see if Fromm can play and want to give him reps with the 2s to prove it
  12. a guy who won’t be cut on most teams in the NFL right now it’s Nick Mcloud or Cam Lewis
  13. This team desperately needs another quality corner. I get both Wallace and Jackson are out but yuck
  14. 3 out of 5 ain’t bad. Surprising that they kept Love as I gotta think he will pursue a different opportunity than the PS again for the Bills. Griffin I can see why they kept. Thought Hester initially but with Star and Oliver likely not playing and Phillips hurt they are gonna need Bryant and Hester to take the bulk of the reps in this final game
  15. I get that and my thought process is a lot like yours. Sweeney can’t stay healthy(heart issue, now this years injury). Gilliam can play 3rd TE like he did last year, and he doesn’t provide STs value like Johnson, Stevenson, or one of the DBs. In addition the Bills go a lot of 10 and 11 personnel and I don’t expect that to change a lot this year making a 3rd TE with injury history and no STs value very vulnerable. Spencer Brown can come in on short yardage 3rd TE situation with Gilliam at FB. People must remember Brown is a converted former TE as well so he could catch in goal line situations. Just food for thought
  16. Yea I mean I don’t disagree with most of this. I could honestly see 2 TEs making it in Knox and Hollister and letting Sweeney go to keep Johnson as another DE or to keep Stevenson as a 7th WR or maybe to keep an extra DB like Lewis or Wildgoose
  17. I get Thompson looks decent but you have to pair down the safeties at some point and he’s low man. Poyer, Hyde, Johnson, Hamlin, Thomas all will be or have a better shot at the roster. Only way I don’t see him cut this round is simply because Jaquan Johnson Is hurt and may not play and they need an extra body for the final preseason game
  18. most of his muffs came in the preseason with Denver so they aren’t an official stat that’s why you think he has more but the stats don’t say that
  19. Yup let him stay for the year, Daboll gets a head job signs Trubisky, take the comp pick and say thank you very much then sign a Bridgwater/Lock/Darnold next year if they flip and rinse and repeat
  20. Saf- Tariq Thompson DE- Mike Love TE- Bug Howard OL- Tyler Gauthier CB- Olijuah Griffin
