  1. DTs who have been impressive so far with 40 and on field drills are: Nazir Stackhouse Georgia CJ West Indiana Tyleik Williams Ohio State Ty Robinson Nebraska Omarr Norman Lott Tennessee Tonka Hemingway South Carolina Joshua Farmer- I’m an FSU fan and his tape leaves things to be desired I think the two that helped themselves the most were Stackhouse and Tyleik Williams. Both were super impressive in their movement skills for a guy their size Disappointments so far: Yaya Black Iowa Cam Jackson Florida Aeneas Peebles Virginia Tech Alfred Collins Texas
  2. No Kenneth Grant or Abdul Carter working out. Has a hamstring strain and Carter with the foot
  3. Beane in his presser talked about talking to more of the “bigger” guys at DT and even talked more about base ends that can reduce more than pass rushers. Some of the big base ends though are coming in extremely light today compared to their listings. Getting light for the 40 and agility testing
  4. I expect more CBs and Safeties to trickle out. It’s hard because it’s mostly coming from beat reporters and I’m sure they don’t ask it for every guy and can’t be at every podium of guys talking so there will be some guys who are missed. Zy Alexander has reportedly met with the Bills multiple times informally not formally so I didn’t add him to this list. Cobee Bryant and Ben Morrison spoke but nothing on meeting with the Bills yet
  5. What isn’t clear about obviously so far it’s defensive right in the OP. The TEs are technically here interviewing which is why I didn’t state that explicitly. Obviously as a football fan you should also know that the combine is taking place and the defense is only here right now. The schedule has been plastered multiple times on this forum. Come at me correct next time in a different manner and I’ll take your suggestion better as I’ve already explained that in a later post as well as others but you’d know that if you read through it. Maybe hey man saw you’ve been correcting people in the thread and thanks for putting this together, could you make it more clear in the original post.
  6. They are measuring them rn so should be out soon
  7. Added 5 more guys so far this morning
  8. I’m just bumping this in preparation for on field workouts
  9. I always love these threads, we’re 10 mill over the cap, the GM said we’re not going to be big spenders and the list contains nothing but highly paid guys who are past their prime in most cases
  10. There is no guarantee that Johnson is back. I’m sure the Bills would love to have him back for sure but Johnson had a monster year for him, plays a position where the shelf life is small, and was a journeyman before coming to Buffalo , so he is going to try to maximize his bottom line while his play is at his peak. Might get too high for the Bills liking especially with their limited dollars
  11. I mean don’t think it’s going to cause a large drop but might make Tenn reconsider if they are thinking about him at 1. I suspect he’ll get surgery on it and he had a shoulder injury as well that I’m sure is getting examined hard too
  12. There are only defensive guys here right now outside of TEs so this list is going to be defense heavy starting out
  13. Trying to keep a running list of guys that have met formally with the Bills. Only Defensive players, TEs, and Specialists are here right now so this list will be defensive heavy until Friday. 1. Landon Jackson DE Arkansas 2. Kenneth Grant DT Michigan 3. Josiah Stewart DE Michigan 4. Alfred Collins DT Texas 5. Chris Paul JR LB Mississippi 6. Mike Green DE Marshall 7. Walter Nolan DT Mississippi 8. Jamaree Caldwell DT Oregon 9. Trey Amos CB Mississippi 10. Will Johnson CB Michigan 11. Jaylen Reed S Penn State 12. Alijah Clark S Syracuse 13. Andrew Mukuba S Texas 14. Malaki Starks S Georgia 15. Nick Emmanwori S South Carolina 16. Denzel Burke CB Ohio State 17. Mello Dotson CB Kansas 18. Isaiah Bond WR Texas 19. Matthew Golden WR Texas 20. Xavier Restrepo WR Miami 21. Jordan James RB Oregon 22. Jahdae Barron CB Texas 23. Woody Marks RB USC 24. Jaydon Blue RB Texas 25. Trevor Etienne RB Georgia 26. Savion Williams WR TCU 27. Isas Walker CB Villanova 28. Joshua Farmer DT Florida State 29. Vernon Broughton DT Texas Informal Meetings reported: Zy Alexander CB LSU Arian Smith WR Georgia
  14. I think Brashard Smith is the closest comp to James Cook in this class
  15. I don’t think he fits what the Bills do from a character standpoint
  16. He reminds me very similarly to Singletary with better hands. More elusive than fast
  17. I don’t think many will argue that Rousseau is good enough for a 2nd contract but the price point is going to be the big deal. You’re right he’s 24 and will be 25 when/if he becomes a UFA. He plays a premium position and they might explode his market much like it did with Tremaine Edmunds. If we’re getting him for 17-20 AAV I can live with that if he’s going to get 23-30 AAV then I’ll pass
  18. So I went back again and watched the Boston College tape of him again and he is slower off the ball than others and I did notice it quite often but while watching I got the impression that he was slightly slower off the ball because he waits to see how the OT is pass setting to determine which pass rush moves he was going to use essentially setting up the OT for his fairly deep arsenal of pass rush moves. Just an observation I had of him could be wrong
  19. Not a fan tbh. I think he’s a stiff football player who lacks bend in his play. Won’t be a sack guy and I question his play strength as well There are character concerns with a lot of these guys. Nolan like you stated, Mike Green has concerns, James Pearce
  20. I don't mind Nolan but I think he is undersized to be effective in the NFL. He reminds me of Oliver which isn't an awful thing but a guy who will play 3 Tech severely undersized in the NFL. I'm not saying that he wont go in the first round, if I was doing a mock draft, I would put him in the first but my own personal rankings I'm not overly impressed by him. His tape at Texas A&M wasn't good, it was much better at Mississippi this past year but I still feel his size limitations will affect him moving forward. He was listed at 305 but showed up at 293 for the Senior Bowl. You have to remember that the Top 10 rankings I am putting out for Defensive Ends and Defensive Tackles all of these guys have a chance at going in the top 2 rounds. Its not like the 10th guy is going in round 4 and the top guy in round 1. Thats how deep this D-line class is. I feel Lott who is similar in size is more explosive getting off the ball. As I stated to another poster, I do not look at projections. I watch tape and I grade based on what I see. Looking at projections just confuses the process and makes you question what you are seeing leaving you to group think.
  21. Defensive Ends/Edge Players Top 10: 1. Abdul Carter Penn State 2. James Pearce Tennessee 3. Mike Green Marshall 4. Nic Scourton Texas A&M 5. Donovan Ezeiruaku Boston College 6. Princely Umanmielan Mississippi 7. Shemar Stewart Texas A&M 8. Mykel Williams Georgia 9. Bradyn Swinson LSU 10. Kyle Kennard South Carolina Defensive Tackles Top 10: 1. Mason Graham Michigan 2. Derrick Harmon Oregon 3. Kenneth Grant Michigan 4. Darius Alexander Toledo 5. Omarr Norman Lott Tennessee 6. Walter Nolan Mississippi 7. Alfred Collins Texas 8. Tyleik Williams Ohio State 9. T.J. Sanders South Carolina 10. Jordan Phillips Maryland
  22. I actually think he sounds a little more tense and and terse when answering the questions this go around. I think the pressure is on not from ownership but in delivering while Allen is still in his prime. You know Sal M asked about Speed WR fully knowing that the Bills passed on the fastest one in Worthy to take Coleman and that trade will be tied to him justifiably or not much like the Mahomes trade will be tied to the Bills in 2017.
  23. I will disagree only on McCloud. For a 6th round pick he’s had a nice little career going. Not with the Bills of course but he’s still chugging along and in a WR rotation as well as a returner
