This team desperately needs to take an offensive player with the first round pick this year. It just seems right this year. We need young WR's, OL, and a RB(tho i'm not advocating first round). If we go first round defense it almost has to be a Cornerback.

If your telling me I can get 2 3rd round picks for Frazier with our needs as Allen’s contract kicks in then sign me up.

right they have to have Miami lose which is what I'm saying. If Miami doesn't lose and goes 10-7 and the Patriots also go 10-7, the Patriots will be 0-2 vs Miami and that is the first tiebreaker in a multi team(3 or more) tiebreaker so yes in a two team scenario(Miami, Patriots) where they are tied- both teams would get in. Miami would be the 6 and the Pats would be the 7. If LV wins out, Miami wins out, and Patriots go 1-1 with a loss to the Dolphins, the Patriots would be eliminated. Its about knowing the difference between a 2 team and 3 team tiebreaker scenario.
-
this is only true if Miami doesn’t win out. The first tiebreaker is divisional head to head so for example Patriots 10-7 Dolphins 10-7 LV or whomever 10-7 Since the Dolphins went 2-0 against the Patriots it would eliminate them even if they have a better conference record than LV or whomever the 3rd team is. Dolphins in LV in Pats out

Realistically because I’m not a sky is falling or a big rah rah guy after a win or loss with magnitude mostly because I was a HS coach for 8 years, Coached Division 3 for 3 years and was a FBS recruiter for 3 years. So sorry I didn’t get on here discussing the demise of one team vs the Bills rising like a phoenix after one win. My discussion was that it’s very likely the teams meet again. People then said it’s likely that the Pats could miss which is untrue if you look at tiebreakers unless you have the Dolphins tied with them which as I stated is a slim proposition. Possible yea, but slim. I was just as excited for this win as all others. Still have to win the next two to get the division. Nothing I have said is false.

I actually looked 2005 I joined. I don’t usually post a ton. Usually most of my posts are around draft time since the Bills have usually been terrible for the last 17 years. Sorry that I use numbers in my screename please forgive me sir

did I not say this in the quote you just quoted me in. I legit said unless the Pats and Dolphins are tied. Your just saying a more detailed version of what you quoted me in
-
I was being sarcastic lol I’m a Bills fan dude
-
Yup huge Pats fan. Only been here since like 2002 harassing Bills fans cause I have nothing better to do with my life. You got me. Sorry I’m realistic the Patriots in the vast majority of 1-1 scenarios make the playoffs unless the Dolphins are tied with them
-
right I’m not arguing that but the likelihood of the Dolphins going 3-0 is slim
-
it doesn’t matter unless the Patriots are going up directly against the Dolphins for that spot. Highly unlikely with the Dolphins remaining schedule. The first tiebreaker is head to head so sure if the Dolphins go 3-0 and the Pats 1-1 that’s a possibility. Every other tiebreaker starts with Conference record which the Patriots hold a big advantage in vs all of the WC besides Las Vegas if you can believe that. So if Vegas and the Dolphins are the teams than maybe
-
I find it highly unlikely the Bengals beat the Chiefs but will admit they have the type of team to do it.
-
The Patriots are going to make it on tie breakers . They have a 7-3 conference record. Even with a loss to the Dolphins they will be 10-7 and hold an 8-4 AFC record. They are making it unless they lose to the Jags
-
Man looking at the standings and the remaining games the Bills and Patriots are very very likely to end up facing each other again no matter who takes the division. I have the assumption the the Bills are not catching the Chiefs or Titans. Titans-Dolphins, @ Texans cant see them going worse than 1-1 but 2-0 likely eliminating the possibility of the 2 seed Bengals- Chiefs, @ Browns- Either going 1-1 or 0-2 Bills-Falcons, Jets. I think we all expect 2-0. 1.Chiefs 2. Titans 3. AFC East Champ(likely the Bills) 4. AFC North Champion( likely the Bengals) The wild card will be amongst a slew of teams Indy- Raiders, @ Jags - 2-0 but Wentz can cost them the Raiders but unlikely. This would lock the Colts into the 5 seed. 1- Chiefs Bye 2 God knows who vs Titans 3- Patriots @ Bills 4- Colts @ Bengals
-
The playoffs are always uncertain. So let me ask how big is this win if the Pats beat the Jags next week and the Bills get upset by the Falcons? I mean obviously I hope it doesn’t happen it’s a huge win I’m not denying that but people need to keep things in perspective. If anything it’s huge for conference record in tiebreakers for the wild card in addition to the division obviously

What i'm confused about is Dawkins already had it, so shouldn't he have natural antibodies for it built up? So I get you can get it multiple times but shouldn't the vaccine plus his antibodies be able to fight this off in quicker time. I gotta admit I dont try to follow Covid news and just try to live my life.

If you believe the Bills are going to make the playoffs , I’d root for the Chargers. They would sweep the Chiefs, could win the division and force the Chiefs into a Wildcard. That’s my opinion I’m sure others think completely opposite tho

Recognizing the Blitz? Okay let’s recount. The INT Barrett whips Brown around the corner, the Devin White sack, Brieda whiffs on the block. The first sack Romo is like Allen needs to recognize the blitz, only for the replay to show the DB came off the edge untouched because Brown doubled down on the end and didn’t see the DN coming off the edge. Those aren’t hot route issues those are blocking issues
