Anybody else have faith in AJ Mccarron?
gonzo1105 replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think McCarron looked good in his limited action. With that said who knows how he’ll do if Coordinators get a lot of tape on him and plan for him -
Bills UDFA signings & Rookie minicamp invitees

Shippensburg is a Division 2 program in Centralish Pennsylvania. Known for having big time offenses. Is he good, or a product of the vaunted Shippensburg offensive system ? -
I think he is the reason they didn’t draft another one. They seem really high on him like they did Milano as well. The problem for Vallejo is he gets hurt often

Sal Capaccio Breaks Down Josh Allen's Footwork (Video)
gonzo1105 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On every video I saw, it’s clear he relies on his upper body strength too much when throwing which cause his erratic throws. It also means, as multiple people, including Sal, that his lower body footwork is off. He has to trust himself to drive the ball with his lower body instead of his natural upper body strength. Do that and he could be an All Pro someday -

Highly recruited player out of HS. Slot WR with Return skills, another versatile multiple things kind of guy. Does a lot of good but nothing great -
RD 5, Pick 166: Wyatt Teller G - Viginia Tech

A lot of people think Tellers comp is Incognito. I like the pick at the end of the 5th. Could be an eventual starter in my opinion -
RD 5, Pick 154: Siran Neal S - Jacksonville state

Could be taken with the Shaq Thompson Carolina role in mind -
RD 4, Pick 121: Taron Johnson DB - Weber State

So you’ve never heard of him or seen him play but he’s a 6th or 7th rounder in your obvious expert opinion -
Day 3 of draft rounds 4-7 let’s talk
gonzo1105 replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m tired of the we need to draft guys I’ve heard of crowd. There’s a reason Crosby, ESB, Hurst, etc. 32 teams are passing on these guys for various reasons. Either they have Medicals, off the field issues, or just plain aren’t as good as the media portrays them. Johnson is prob a reach but we don’t know that maybe multiple teams had him in Round 4 and the Bills really liked him do they took him. The reason they aren’t taking an OT and/or WR rn is because A. They don’t feel there is value and B. The class in general stinks -
GDT: 2018 Draft Day 2 - Rounds 2 and 3
gonzo1105 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watch the Bills trade out of the 3rd round. I can see it, it’s one of the last picks of Day 2 and someone could get a little desperate to get their guy -
What would you like to do with #96?
gonzo1105 replied to ghostwriter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope Harrison Phillips drops but I wouldn’t be surprised if they take a guy like Fred Warner or Josey Jewell to finish off the future LB corps. Milano,Edmunds, Warner/Jewell would be awesome -
I’m thinking do the Bills take Guice who is falling like a Rock

Brandon Beane Talks Bills' Day Two Draft Plans
gonzo1105 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see the Bills trading 96, one of the 2018 5th founders and a 19 4th rounder to get a player they really like in early round 3 or late round 2 -
I think the Bills intend to sit him the entire year. They have 9 picks as of now for 2019, also have a lot of cap space to fix the Oline and WR corps etc. They are gonna let McCarron and Peterman take 2018. If we take a big step back then we have a high 1st rounder to draft a premium Oline or WR to help him out
-
The Bills have some extra ammo in next year's draft so don't be surprised if there is a trade up if they really like a guy. In 2019 they have an extra 4th from the Reggie Ragland trade, and an extra 7th rounder for the Cardale Jones trade. So right now they are sitting on 9 draft picks and 100 million in cap space.

2018 Draft: 1st round discussion

Man Brandon Beane is playing this like a champ right now, dudes gonna get his QB and keep most of his picks -
Lamar Jackson says he had zero meetings with Bills
gonzo1105 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To be fair, Josh McDaniels did Draft Tim Tebow in the 1st round. Let’s not act like McDaniels is some QB genius because he got to work with Tom Brady -
Browns trying to get the Giants or Jets to pony up a pick or two to slide to 1. They must truly believe the Jets want Mayfield and by throwing this out there they can drop to 3 and still get the QB they want, which means they also believe the Giants aren’t trading their pick(for a QB) and aren’t taking a QB themselves

Draft Day Dark Horse Prediction!!!!
gonzo1105 replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills stay put at 12 draft BPA. Trade down from 22 to end of round 1 and take Kyle Lauletta. That’s my dark horse prediction -
Bills going to LA to visit and workout Sam Darnold
gonzo1105 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't shake that I feel Darnold will be a huge bust in the NFL. I'm not just talking about the turnovers and things like that that media pundits constantly harp on. First he reminds me of Ryan Fitzpatrick. Part of it is probably the same number (14) but they also have the same movements in the pocket, the scrambling, the throwing motion etc. On top of that when I go back and watch his tape, his best throws are always and I mean always in the middle of the field or he boots to one side and throws to that side of the field. You very rarely see a Deep Out across the field or a deep comeback where he isn't booting. Just go back and watch all of his best throws against Penn State in the Rose Bowl. Did USC know something that people in the NFL don't know. Does he lack arm strength to make those throws? Just a talking point that I can't seem to shake. -
"Giants 'don't like' Josh Rosen".
gonzo1105 replied to BurpleBull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There has been a lot of smoke recently that Rosen could be dropping because of his personality issues. Could be someone just trying to get the kid drop or it could be true that teams are dropping him down their board
