I think they view Samuel as an outside WR like I said when the signed him when everyone was saying he was a slot.

I told people that I thought Buffalo would use most of their draft picks this year because they have to add cheap young players and start relying on them and it looks like that is exactly what Beane is doing. This team needs to start developing the bottom of their roster instead of signing vets to 1 year deals.

He literally in his press conference said that he was not going to trade up in the early part of round 4 and would wait a bit. Probably meant he liked how his board is set up in the 4th round.

I like the pairing more than anything, Polk as the possession guy and Baker as the over the top guy.

I've said this in two other threads. I think they liked him and then saw him at the combine and we're like woah this guy may not be what we thought. The sickness thing came out and the Bills probably had questions and brought him in for the private workout hoping that he would be a different player than the one they saw at the combine and he probably under performed in the private workout for them as well so the Bills decided to pass.

Arizona having a good draft but they have 9 million top 100 picks so you expect that . They are still going to be awful next year though cause Kyler Murray sucks.

My guess is the Bills had high interest before the combine and he flat out blew it as most of us know at the combine.
The Bills probably still liked him so they said maybe he had an off day so they set up the private workout with him to see if it was a 1 off. Then he probably stunk at the private workout and they dropped him down the board

I’m not one of em. I said for months that he was the type of character profile they love and would consider drafting. He wasn’t my first choice but I totally get why they took him

As I said last night in a different thread, giving up a 4th and one 5th now will get you pretty far up the board. Basically if we gave up two 5ths we can pick first if the team wants to trade with us.
Beane is now in a power position to pretty much get whoever he wants in round 4 if he chooses.
He did say he would wait a little bit to see how the board was playing out though

According to who. First the Bills only have 66 guys on their roster right now on a preseason roster of 90.
They need RB2 like you said, they could go TE to develop next year and release Knox, They could use cheap OL so they don't have to sign a guy like La'El Collins for depth, they currently don't have a 4th DE unless you include Kingsley Jonathan, they need a 4th LB to compete with Spector, they need 2 CBS right now, and they could use another Safety to compete, not to mention a punter.
There are a lot of areas the Bills can improve the bottom of their roster specifically.
