  1. They def love former Bills players. My guess is McDaniel couldn’t help himself seeing a gadget guy out there
  2. Utterly shocked that Mahomes is okay and practicing. Now he can be hyped up for how tough he is
  3. That’s his own doing though. He’s making plays so he’s holding onto the ball till the very last tick. He’s also got like 3 roughing calls doing that so now he’s really holding onto it
  4. I'd like to hold onto him for another year if possible. I guess it really depends on how many jobs are out there to be had. We all know some names out there that are likely to get one: Ben Johnson Mike Vrabel Todd Monken will be up for jobs Liam Coen is a name that people have to know he worked with McVay and is with TB right now as their OC that is pretty good Joe Brady Aaron Glenn Do other retreads get an opportunity due to their coordinator success: Vance Joseph Vic Fangio Brian Flores Either way I'd say its not a strong group. I think its Johnson, Vrabel, Coen and then a tier below including Brady. He has some natural connections to New Orleans obviously, theres rumors the Bears have been doing some work on Brady, and obviously Cincinnati if their job becomes available.
  5. I mean if the game is a playoff game the answer is no I do not but if the answer is hey we have 2 weeks and we are locked into the # 2 seed at worst than sure give them live reps in inconsequential games. Elam was better than Bishop for sure. The guy just struggles in deep coverage right now.
  6. Grable will replace one of the Dlineman this week most likely Phillips or Jefferson. I don’t see them moving a Safety up until Hyde is fully acclimated and ready to contribute
  7. I mean prepping for a guy is easy. You can see a lot of good traits in tape but you can't replicate what you see live. You tend to underestimate Allen and others thinking oh well we'll spy him with Campbell or Kwon Alexander and we will be okay not realizing that Allen is significantly more agile and faster in game and those guys can't keep up. You really have to put a safety into the game to make that happen. When you do that though it leaves you vulnerable to the Bills downhill rushing attack if your in nickel or dime.
  8. I mean I don’t think the Bills had a shot even if they were both interested
  9. Looked like a stinger to me for Brown. He was clutching the left but also holding his helmet in the left which makes me think he avoided a collarbone, shoulder/arm issue.
  10. I tend to agree, have a two game cushion. You lose to Houston okay that sucks but you’re still in the drivers seat. Come back for Pitt and win both to lock the 1 would be my guess
  11. I don’t know enough about kicking mechanics but it’s embarrassing for him to have the yips on short kicks. He absolutely buried dead center almost every one of his other kicks and he’s been mostly accurate but the ones he does miss are absolutely mind blowingly completely shanked not even close. It’s like he thinks too much on short ones and long ones he just lets it rip
  12. It’s Bruce for now but Allen will be by the end of his career
  13. This wouldn’t shock me as I thought one of our 3 might get flexed to a Saturday even tho it’s the Pats or Jets. The Bills are must see
  14. Id say it’s a much bigger risk not having a QB that can move the ball
  15. A defense can be built, he is gonna be looking for a place that he believes has a franchise QB or one he can draft in his first year
  16. I think that’s possible too I just said that in another post as well. Brady will also likely come with a cheaper price tag
  17. Yup could see this too just with the natural connections. I didn’t think he’d get one this off-season but the way the Bills O is rolling right now I think it’s a solid possibility
  18. I keep saying the Bengals should pull out all the stops to get Ben Johnson it makes sense from both sides of the financials make sense. I would typically say that the franchise QB always wins when their is a rift but the Bengals ownership does have a history of battling franchise QBs
  19. Good post felt it was warranted for a shout out
  20. I agree with you. I mean I don't think the St. Brown TD should have had that reaction as we literally tipped the football and had 3 men around the football. If anything it was a great concentration catch and a great play by the Lions more than a Bills mistake. My big issue is the soft zone to burn time is they still allowed way too much chunk plays. The goal is to give up 7-8 yards a play not 12-15.
  21. Yea, I noticed on one run play where he was meeting a RB head on that he kind of turned to lessen the blow on his on arm
  22. I think he has been everything they asked Gabe Davis to be but better. He doesn't make the spectacular wow catch like Davis did from time to time but Hollins doesn't drop passes, he is one hell of a blocker, he's apparently a great teammate, plays ST's all for a nice tidy 2.6 million dollar tag. Ideally he is a WR # 4 on a good football team but this board did him really dirty after that Texans game.
  23. The good news for us is that the AFC, with maybe the exception of the Ravens and the Bengals(who aren't going to make the playoffs) are the only two team's in the AFC that has the offensive firepower that the Lions and the Rams have in terms of capability. I mean the Chiefs are struggling on O, I don't think anyone fears Pittsburgh's offense. The Chargers are limited with weapons, the Broncos are employing a rookie QB, and the Texans struggle when you get them away from home. I'm not saying we're going to walk through the playoffs by any means but when it comes to dynamic offenses in the AFC there are very few that can match the Bills or even come close.
