  1. Bills met with CB Blessaun Austin and SAF Kiy Hester at their pro day Bills had dinner but not sure that means a visit with DE Jaylon Ferguson
  2. Idk if this is a visit, but Jaylon Ferguson apparently met with the Bills today.
  3. How people don’t see we’re taking a DE/DT is beyond me. We didn’t sign on in FA. We have a need at DE/DT, and the value at pick 9 is like 90% going to be one of those two positions unless we trade down. Pure BPA every GM says every year then you constantly see people picking for need.
  4. He had great games against Minnesota and both Miami games(the one in Miami, he was singlehandedly willing them to a victory before Charles Clay swiped that away), despite the throwing stats, he played very well against Jacksonville, had a GW drive against the Titans, he also had both TD's with a terrible surrounding cast against Detroit. Could he have played better? Absolutely. This year he will have a chance with the new offensive line, WR's and TE's to take a leap which everyone expects. If he doesn't I guess we know what we have.
  5. There are a lot of people saying they are going BPA at 6 and taking Daniel Jones at 17
  6. Sure haha chances are I won’t remember this anyways. I do think we are going DT or DE in round 1.
  7. If it comes down to Wilkins vs Oliver I think he is going to take Wilkins. That’s my opinion People love combine numbers and think of potential instead of production and forget that Hockenson is also one of the youngest prospects in the draft
  8. Thats kind of the guys point lol. Everyone is saying well he’s bigger then Donald when he came out, well he’s just as strong as him. Truth is there is only one Aaron Donald in the NFL. You don’t see very many DTs in the league that are 6’1 or 6’2 and under 290 dominating. Hes a good football player but the precedent isn’t there besides Donald for sawed off DTs being a high impact. Could be another guy tho that comes in and dominates and changes the narrative.
  9. 1. Nick Bosa 2. Quinnen Williams 3. Josh Allen 4. Devin White 5. T.J. Hockenson 6. Josh Jacobs 7. Christian Wilkins 8. Brian Burns 9. Jawaan Taylor 10. Clelin Ferrell
  10. I’ll take Christian Wilkins or Brian Burns over either
  11. Cant blame a guy who is a STs guy who got to play some defense for the 49ers staying there especially if they are giving him decent money and long term security. Doesn’t have to uproot and move across country doesn’t hurt either
  12. Need some videotape no visuals no team cares. He’ll get suspended by the league for a game or two and continue on
  13. Wow this is so off base. Hockenson didn’t rise because of his combine, Fant is the one rising because of his combine. Hockenson was the starting TE over Fant(they play a lot of two TE tho) at a traditionally rich TE school. Hockenson had better production on the field despite the higher athleticism of Fant. Hockenson is a way better blocker and has better hands then Fant. I think you have your analysis backwards
  14. Listening to Beane on Bills live, it sure sounds like Ansah still isn't healthy and the Bills weren't thrilled with his progress. He's not coming out and saying it but dropping those subtleties. I think this one isn't happening unless the money comes significantly down.
  15. Its very possible he retires.
  16. Well if he left it usually means one of 3 things. Either A) His medicals didn't check out B)His medicals didn't check out and the Bills wanted to sign him for less money to protect themselves or C) His medicals cleared but he wanted more than what Buffalo wanted to give up.
  17. Exactly, the guys from all reports took a West coast flight across the country to visit today. I get Bills fans are one of the best things about joining the Bills outside of the paycheck, but not everyone wants to be bombarded with excited fans when they first get into town or off a flight. I know I am agitated after long plane or car rides so even so I cant blame the guy.
  18. Sure man, power man schemes are big on big blocking, more double and slipping to the LBs and driving guys off the ball. Basically your trying to isolate certain members of a defense. It involves more offensive lineman pulling and leading forva RB. A designated hole for the RB to run through. A zone scheme is more of a finesse system where you occupy an area on the defense and take the defender that comes in your area where they want to go. Your basically just trying to get in the way of a defender. Offensive lineman tend to be a little lighter in the pants but not always. This tends to mean that there isn’t a designated hole to run through. The RB has to cut and read off of the lines blocks. This if you recall became an issue for the Bills a couple years ago when McDermott took the job. The Bills were running man schemes under Rex Ryan to a great deal of success. I believe we were top 5 in rushing. Then McDermott comes on and hires Rick Dennison who is known as a zone blocking scheme guy and the Bills fell off a cliff in the rushing statistics because they didn’t have the personnel up front to be a zone team. That’s when Incognito and them started complaining saying they needed to run more man schemes and mixed both in. You can clearly see in the highlights that 90% of what Memphis does upfront is inside and outside zone. A perfect fit for a guy like Henderson who is less powerful and more of a shifty runner. On the other hand s guy like Bryce Love has run man schemes his entire time at Stanford. If you want to see a visual difference, watch Bryce Love highlights vs Darrell Henderson but watch what they do upfront. Wisconsin as well
  19. My problem is with the offensive line guys that we have brought in it seems we are going to be a man power team not a zone. I’m not sure if Henderson fits into that as he is more of a zone runner. I really like him, he is one of my fav RB prospects as well but looking from the outside I don’t see a match .
  20. Nsekhe is going to be the RT, and he's pretty good too just was stuck behind an all pro at LT and a pro bowl RT. The only way that I think they are going to take a RT at 9 is if they are truly going to move Dawkins inside, put Nsekhe at LT and the Draft pick at RT. I just don't see that happening. Could they take one in round 2-4 to be Nsekhe's replacement down the line, that would make sense. The Bills are going Defensive Line or TE in round 1. I know I know BPA has been said over and over again. Every GM says that. The value at 9 is on the Defensive line or with TE in a trade down.
  21. No a dominant WR is not necessary. Having a great QB is.
  22. Depending on how far you want to move up. In the teens its for sure your gonna have to give up a 2020 first round pick. To move u to like 31 probably 40 and a 3rd
  23. I can't believe i'm gonna agree with Charlie Casserley but watching his workout his ball placement isn't great on quite a few throws. He has also made some on the money throws but he is getting a lot of help with catches by his Receivers and Tight Ends.
  24. This is not meant to be rude to the OP because I’ve seen it posted by numerous people. They aren’t gonna move Edmunds outside anytime soon. It’s simply a comfort thing. You don’t put that much time into a 20 year old making him comfortable at MLB learning the calls and managing the defense to move him to a new position and make him get comfortable at a different position one year later. I get it he has the body type, the speed and size to blitz etc from the SAM position.
