  1. Its very possible he retires.
  2. Well if he left it usually means one of 3 things. Either A) His medicals didn't check out B)His medicals didn't check out and the Bills wanted to sign him for less money to protect themselves or C) His medicals cleared but he wanted more than what Buffalo wanted to give up.
  3. Exactly, the guys from all reports took a West coast flight across the country to visit today. I get Bills fans are one of the best things about joining the Bills outside of the paycheck, but not everyone wants to be bombarded with excited fans when they first get into town or off a flight. I know I am agitated after long plane or car rides so even so I cant blame the guy.
  4. Sure man, power man schemes are big on big blocking, more double and slipping to the LBs and driving guys off the ball. Basically your trying to isolate certain members of a defense. It involves more offensive lineman pulling and leading forva RB. A designated hole for the RB to run through. A zone scheme is more of a finesse system where you occupy an area on the defense and take the defender that comes in your area where they want to go. Your basically just trying to get in the way of a defender. Offensive lineman tend to be a little lighter in the pants but not always. This tends to mean that there isn’t a designated hole to run through. The RB has to cut and read off of the lines blocks. This if you recall became an issue for the Bills a couple years ago when McDermott took the job. The Bills were running man schemes under Rex Ryan to a great deal of success. I believe we were top 5 in rushing. Then McDermott comes on and hires Rick Dennison who is known as a zone blocking scheme guy and the Bills fell off a cliff in the rushing statistics because they didn’t have the personnel up front to be a zone team. That’s when Incognito and them started complaining saying they needed to run more man schemes and mixed both in. You can clearly see in the highlights that 90% of what Memphis does upfront is inside and outside zone. A perfect fit for a guy like Henderson who is less powerful and more of a shifty runner. On the other hand s guy like Bryce Love has run man schemes his entire time at Stanford. If you want to see a visual difference, watch Bryce Love highlights vs Darrell Henderson but watch what they do upfront. Wisconsin as well
  5. My problem is with the offensive line guys that we have brought in it seems we are going to be a man power team not a zone. I’m not sure if Henderson fits into that as he is more of a zone runner. I really like him, he is one of my fav RB prospects as well but looking from the outside I don’t see a match .
  6. Nsekhe is going to be the RT, and he's pretty good too just was stuck behind an all pro at LT and a pro bowl RT. The only way that I think they are going to take a RT at 9 is if they are truly going to move Dawkins inside, put Nsekhe at LT and the Draft pick at RT. I just don't see that happening. Could they take one in round 2-4 to be Nsekhe's replacement down the line, that would make sense. The Bills are going Defensive Line or TE in round 1. I know I know BPA has been said over and over again. Every GM says that. The value at 9 is on the Defensive line or with TE in a trade down.
  7. No a dominant WR is not necessary. Having a great QB is.
  8. Depending on how far you want to move up. In the teens its for sure your gonna have to give up a 2020 first round pick. To move u to like 31 probably 40 and a 3rd
  9. I can't believe i'm gonna agree with Charlie Casserley but watching his workout his ball placement isn't great on quite a few throws. He has also made some on the money throws but he is getting a lot of help with catches by his Receivers and Tight Ends.
  10. This is not meant to be rude to the OP because I’ve seen it posted by numerous people. They aren’t gonna move Edmunds outside anytime soon. It’s simply a comfort thing. You don’t put that much time into a 20 year old making him comfortable at MLB learning the calls and managing the defense to move him to a new position and make him get comfortable at a different position one year later. I get it he has the body type, the speed and size to blitz etc from the SAM position.
  11. The Bills are loading up on run blockers outside of Morse. Feliciano, Nsekhe, Long are all power/man scheme blockers. I’m guessing that’s what we are going to be running most of the time this year. I don’t think this necessarily takes the Bills out of the Tackle/Guard market but I would suspect they’d wait to the draft.
  12. That’s what happens when you have Tom Brady
  13. One thing I’ve noticed about all the guys up front that they have signed or are now projected to start tells me we are going to be a man/ Power gap team and not a zone blocking scheme
  14. Most likely yes it does
  15. I said it in another thread, he is 33 but don’t be caught off guard by that. He floated around the league for years in and out of the NFL and Practice squads so there isn’t a lot of tread on the tires. He can play Tackle or Guard. I think he is the starting RT. Was stuck behind Trent Williams and Morgan Moses but when he did play at Tackle and Guard he was very highly graded. This is is a sound pickup.
  16. With the signings, and the apparent interest in Ziggy Ansah at Edge, it looks like the Bills are down to a couple of positions that they are focusing in on at # 9 or in a trade down scenario. Obviously this can still change as we are not even into Free Agency yet but we're looking at RT, DT, or OG with the first pick. I think TE is still a darkhorse but I see them taking one in the 2nd or 3rd round. At pick # 9 Jawaan Taylor Jonah Williams Christian Wilkins Ed Oliver Rashaan Gary Trade down Andre Dillard Cody Ford Dalton Risner T.J. Hockenson Chris Lindstrom Dexter Lawrence Noah Fant. I think they are still honestly looking to trade down. The reports from Antonio Brown and the willingness to flip pick with them makes me believe this even more. I have read some reports that the Bills absolutely love Chris Lindstrom OG from Boston College but he's kind of in the area where he will be a reach at 9 and not available at 40 so the only way to get him is to reach at 9(very unlikely) or take him in the teens or early 20's(way more likely).
  17. Ty Nsekhe. Has been a swing tackle for the Redskins. Played extremely well at Tackle and Guard. Older at 33 but not a lot of tread. Has only been in the league for a short time after hoping around the league getting cut
  18. If they were to sign Bell( I don’t think they are) it would be the end of McCoy in Buffalo
  19. Man he’s a guy I really liked. Good get for the Packers. Wonder what the money was on him
  20. The Jets are clearly going for it while Darnold is under a rookie contract. I like the Osemele move the best. To me they massively overpaid for Barr. I get why he got good money but it wouldn’t have been me doing it. Mosley is a good fit in the 3-4 defense so that move is solid for them but he can’t cover in a new age football. Crowder is a good player but 9 mill AAV is a lot and Bellamy to me is whatever.
  21. He’s so overrated. Guy has a ton of potential, measurables, but never played consistently and now someone is giving him that 14-15 based on potential still
  22. If Funchess is getting that imagine what Williams is going to get
  23. 1 year 13 million
  24. I would expect that Gore is coming in to be a 3rd down guy who can pass protect for Allen. Something none of the Bills backs were particularly good at. Still ran for almost 800 yards and over 4 YPC last year
  25. This is the first “big” FA where the contract wasn’t ridiculous
