You think Coleman is a #1?
We weren't getting a # 1 WR at pick 28 anyways. I don't know why thats so hard to understand. The only 3 guys like that were the top 3 and maybe Thomas Jr if he develops

As I said in the discussion thread Ray Davis was my favorite RB in this draft. He is a complete 3 down back who can block in pass pro and has great hands out of the backfield with a strong compact body to run between the tackles. Yes he's older but that doesn't matter with RB's as most of them only get 1 contract anyways.

Detroit moving all over why are we not with all these damn 5s
Their sacrificing next years capital to do it. I'm not exactly a huge fan of it since you have to think next years draft will be deeper than this one.

I actually think the KC draft has been very underwhelming.

Baltimore just taking BPA all the time. I will say he does have Elam tendencies but big difference at the end of round 4 vs 1st round.

So the Bills have taken two of my favorite player evals in this draft in Bishop at Safety and Ray Davis at RB. Apparently the Bills and I are on the same page a little bit this draft. I am more than okay with Coleman as well and DeWayne Carter went right around where I thought he would.

Estime on the board and we take Davis? Sigh
Davis is a better football player than Estime. Davis is a complete 3 down back. I've been the only one on this board hyping Davis.

Shipley supposedly made a top 30 visit so he was a possibility to be the next Bills pick.

Thanks to a miracle play from the Bengals. Bills proceeded to get smoked by an awful Jags team in rd 1
I would hardly call a 10-3 defensive struggle getting smoked but yes a game they could have easily won.

If its to be believed that the drop falls off around this spot its not as surprising to see teams giving up their next year's 3rd instead of trading for later picks this year.

I'm ready to tell my grandchildren about this upcoming 5th round.
It would be actually hilarious if these 5th round guys hit and we finally win the SB with one or two of them making plays for us in clutch situations.

They are not carrying four TEs next year unless they get rid of the FB. They already brought back Morris as TE #3.
Totally agree about Punter. I have been saying punter in the fifth round since November.
Also agree on DB. Why they brought back Cam Lewis I have no idea.
They already signed there special teams LB Morrow.
I hate late round OTs but a guy to play the big TE role that Edwards played last year might not be unreasonable.
The problem with playing a Tackle there at TE is it makes you very predictable. When Knox went down, it forced the Bills to play Dalton Kincaid into the traditional Y spot which they don't want to do nor is it Kincaids strength. When an OL is in at TE you know he's not going out in routes.
I'm a very big advocate for taking a guy who can block at TE in case an injury happens so Kincaid can stay out where he's more comfortable.

Gave up a 3rd round pick next year to draft another Devon Achane. They are officially the Madden team of the NFL.

Yea i'm curious, Miami giving up a 3rd next year better be for a player they really want. Who's the fastest guy left.

McCormick is a great pick. The Steelers are doing a great job fixing their OL

Any excuse to post a clip from this multiple-Oscar winning film classic.
I'll allow it as this is my favorite 80's action movie even though the story is a complete fabrication. Bolo Yung is still jacked even though he's old as hell now.

There aren't enough roster spots up for grabs. That said a RB2 and a DB would be nice depth pieces.
According to who. First the Bills only have 66 guys on their roster right now on a preseason roster of 90.
They need RB2 like you said, they could go TE to develop next year and release Knox, They could use cheap OL so they don't have to sign a guy like La'El Collins for depth, they currently don't have a 4th DE unless you include Kingsley Jonathan, they need a 4th LB to compete with Spector, they need 2 CBS right now, and they could use another Safety to compete, not to mention a punter.
There are a lot of areas the Bills can improve the bottom of their roster specifically.

Bortolini broke the 3 Cone drill record but DeWayne Carter broke him at the Senior Bowl

The Bills have a profile when it comes to players and the Jags have a profile when it comes to offensive and defensive lineman for sure. Long arms and length

Do the Bills view Shakir as an outside WR?
Because we have two slot guys and a guy who is outside but excels as a big slot.. plus two good Tight Ends.
What are we doing with a tiny slot receiver?
I think they view Samuel as an outside WR like I said when the signed him when everyone was saying he was a slot.

Allen was a better RB before they switched schemes at Wisconsin. He's a two down back who needs to be in a gap scheme. If he runs a zone system he's gonna be awful. Unless he's their goalline back I don't see where he fits.
