Greatest comeback in preseason history here we come!

Same game you are boss, but you’re also the guy who freaks about everything during the regular season GDT. They look bad sure but it’s a preseason game where you know the Bills have won a lot of games the past couple of years . Allow me not to panic about Brandon Codrington, Zion Logue, Jenkins, Dane Jackson, Tre Herndon etc are playing the whole game. The Bishop TD was was bad , he looked bad for sure but the Bills were playing Cover Zero which I just don’t see them doing a ton during the regular season so allow me not to panic about it. They tried it a couple of times and got burnt by it . They have picked on Andreessen who I know is a great story and will make the roster but is at best LB # 4 on this roster

So it’s a preseason game where most of the guys who played the whole game for the Bills will be end of the roster or not in the NFL in two weeks

I saw him in the last game playing late and he looked like he had horrendous technique which is expected for a guy who obviously should be raw

Again there is a difference when our backups are mostly the guys we’re going to cut vs the Bears backups who are NFL rotational players. Luther Burden is going to play a lot of snaps, Bagent has started games. Ryan Bates is playing OL right now for the Bears, Austin Booker is going to be in their DLine rotation as a pass rusher. That’s still a fairly significant difference compared to Paris Shand and Jacob Bayer etc

Oh I agree, at least there is effort and penetration and some level of pass rush. That’s more than I’ve seen from the rest of the roster tonight

The best Bills player I’ve seen tonight, and it’s not saying much has been Landon Jackson

It’s still not the same. Bills are playing guys who are doing to be cut backups vs Bears backups that are good. Bagent, Burden, Booker, Smythe etc are all going to be big contributors. I mean Ryan Bates is on the Bears Oline right now

Hawes had a really good down block there so that’s something lol

Man Dane Jackson is done. I know a lot of guys are getting toasted but he’s king toast and Herndon didn’t help much either

I mean Tre Herndon who just got signed and Brandon Codrington who is the last DB on the roster are playing the vast majority of the game

The game looks like a Bears team trying to prove itself versus a Bills team trying not to get hurt

I find it very very interesting that Epenesa is now in the game even after the other guys and didn’t see him the first two series. Either he is in there because someone got dinged or he’s fallen down the depth chart

Mike White has actually looked a lot better tonight than last week but not getting help from his teammates. Bad throw to Hawes followed by the Latu drop

Well Fox has a # 1 QB lighting it up with the hot new Head Coach. The Bills have Brandon Codrington at CB, which would you talk about

That 3rd down reception against Codrington was once again cover zero. Can’t picture the Bills running a ton of cover zero this year

I can accept it but everything has to be factored. To the Bills this is a nothing burger, they’re playing all backups, and they can afford to try different things in the preseason to see if they are effective or not. The Bears have a new football coach, with a new football system , and a team that is typically been bad with a 2nd year # 1 QB trying to get ready for a brutal division. Bishop might not be in cover zero in the regular season but maybe they want to see it

Yup when I saw Codrington I was like they apparently don’t care about this guy

Before people complain , the Bills don’t have a single defensive starter on the field right now against the Bears 1s

He was unseated by Grable until Grable got hurt last year then RVD became the swing. That’s where the RVD trade stuff comes from. It’s pretty clear RVD struggles playing RT

As little as Samuel has done here he makes it because of his contract and upside. I don’t think they were impressed with Cooper. I’m thinking the Bills keep 6 WRs this year because Shavers or Shenault can provide STs duty. Shenault is another guy I can see getting cut and then the Bills keep on the PS
