  1. They aren't all 30 visits tho. Some they met at the combine. They are allowed 30 The only ones to be confirmed thus far are: Dak Prescott QB Cyrus Jones CB Sheldon Rankins DT Reggie Ragland LB That's only 4 of 30
  2. The Bills could still get 2 because Blantons contract is so small that he prob won't qualify for the formula. Brooks will be a fringe qualifier. As of right now, we'll get 2, most likely a 6 and 7 but most likely well probably just get a 6th next year
  3. You know there hasn't been a lot of talk about Chris Jones from Miss State. He seems like a perfect fit for Rex's versatile scheme and is a great run player who has above average pass rushing skills. A lot of people project him as a round 2 guy but there have been quite a few leaks of how scouts perceive him to be a top 25 player. Might be a good fit at 19
  4. So Blanton despite being a UFA prob won't qualify for the compensatory process with that contract. The one uear deal also makes me think they are still in the market to draft a safety
  5. Knighton is only a run stuffer and doesn't offer much in the way of a pass rush. He's also showing his age as teams had a 4.7 yard rush average when he was in the game. He's overrated at this point in his career
  6. Voided contracts still count because technically the player didn't get released. That's why Harvin will count this year if he gets signed in a timely fashion
  7. No he won't be counted. The only players who get counted in the formula are Unreleased Unrestricted Free Agents. The Bills had a choice to keep him and choose not to. It's the exact same reason that Charles Clay didn't count this year because the Dolphins had a choice. The only people that count so far are Bradham and Brooks
  8. I'm actually surprised someone has not given Corbin Bryant a look either especially with how tight our cap is. He started last year and has scheme versatility to fit in a 4-3 and 3-4
  9. We have a net loss of 2 to zero. I'd expect two low round comp picks next year pending we don't actually sign a free agent, which I wouldn't suspect.
  10. By the looks of the gained vs lost, the Bills could have received 3. Must have ran out before getting to that point. Charles Clay and Alex Carrington didn't count
  11. The history of the Doug Whaley regime shows that the Bills mostly draft guys that they bring in for visits. Particularly in the middle rounds.
  12. Man Derek Wolfe must be kicking himself for agreeing to a 4 year 36 million dollar extension with the Broncos. That man would have gotten 12-13 mill a season the way things were going today
  13. Released players and non tendered players don't count towards the formula. So guys that count: Nigel Bradham Ron Brooks Josh Johnson Leonard Hankerson Percy Harvin Alex Carrington Guys who don't: Mario Williams Leodis McKelvin Anthony Dixon Kraig Urbik Bacarri Rambo Ty Powell Marquise Gray Stefan Charles In addition, to qualify for a compensatory pick you usually have to make a certain amount. I would suspect Hankerson and Johnson won't matter
  14. I think one could argue he's the 3rd best or 4th. I think he's arguably better than Hackenberg and Lynch has been falling. I'm not saying he is but it can be argued
  15. I wouldn't bank on it. I mean 3rd round sounds about right but the guys stock has been shooting through the roof. If the Bills wan him it's going to have to be in round 2 most likely
  16. I think Getlin is more saying that now that Osemele has signed it will allow the market on other Guards to get started. I don't think he's saying that since Osemele signed for so much that all the other guards are going to get more money
  17. My guess is the actual visit isn't over yet. He must be staying through tomorrow. Usually they have some sort of media availability or press release to conclude visits
  18. If the Bills just released Urbik that means one of two things. The Bills are closer to a deal with Incognito than believed, or they have a plan in FA to replace him. The problem with Urbik is while he only saves the Bills 1.75 mill he just isn't versatile. He can really only play Guard. They tried him at Center and he struggled and he def can't play tackle
  19. To me Perry is a 2nd round pick. I don't think he last to 64. I think he goes around 50.
  20. I'm not enamored with him for running a 40 time but it furthers my point of being a versatile LB who can play safety. A small LB who has shown that he can effectively cover RBs, TEs, and even slot WRs. A guy who can be physical on the perimeter, blitz off the edge and can play multiple positions in a scheme known for its complexity and player versatility. Hope that answers your question
  21. True but maybe what McKelvin will take isn't the amount the Bills want him to take. If McKelvin wants to take a 750,000 pay cut and the Bills want 2 million they might have hit a snag
  22. I think it's to put pressure on McKelvin and/or Graham to take a pay it. I think the Bills say we can bring In Cromartie, he can play safety and CB, he knows Rex system, and we can pay him the salary of one player when he can do two players jobs
  23. Better time for Ragland than I thought. Expected him to run 4.8
  24. Perry might run well highly underrated LB
