I think you'll see Mitch come back for the playoffs only and then I think you'll see him hang it up. He wont play the last two regular season games IMO and hopefully will have the extra week with a bye so he'll get a total of a month off essentially for the playoff push then hopefully a title and call it a day.

Baker Mayfield: QBing not so hard with competent head coach
gonzo1105 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Could very well stay in LA especially if Stafford decides to hang them up and its not that far fetched of a possibility. -
Hahhahaha the Dolphins are free falling. Unfortunately the rest of the AFC beneath them is always sucking so the top 6 is pretty much all set but the Dolphins are 7 right now. Their next two game are huge for their playoff chances against the Patriots and Jets.

What a loser Tomlin is for trying a 52 yarder in sub zero weather on 4th and 4 down 7. He missed one in the same direction from the same hash earlier so why not try one that is much longer this time.

Bills had him in for a visit and had the chance to draft him. He’s such a great young player. The whole Raiders team has a lot of talent it amazes me that their 6-8

Treatment of opposing team fans(your experience)
gonzo1105 replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now, I am not a drinker at games and I will tell you I've seen some disgusting behavior by all fan bases. With that said, the most uneducated disgusting fan base that I have ever come across are New York Jets fans and its not even close. I dont know if its NYC and the accents, the lack of football knowledge but they are the one group I don't want to sit around. -
What’s the Coverage? Who’s to blame? Waddle TD
gonzo1105 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
So after rewatching it it still look like cover 6 Jackson goes to the flat, Milano does go hook to seam(I got him and Johnson mixed up), Poyer drops in the hole, Hamlin straight backpedals trying to get depth, White is in the Deep Quarter and Johnson chucks and goes to the flat. Seems like some variation of Cover 6 with a Robber Safety. Now maybe its a Cover 6 disguise with a 3 Robber look, I think that is very plausible as well. -

I think some people, especially people like myself, who have been in the game a long time as a player(HS,College), a coach(HS), and a Recruiter(College), like to look at things more analytically than the typical fan. I am not knocking you or anyone else that just watches the game and enjoys it without looking at coverages and what happened wrong etc its just its different when you have been in the game for a long time. I go to games and I'm not drunk, I don't scream my head off when the Bills are on defense, I'm intently watching what we are doing as a team and what the other team is doing as a team moreso than anything. Of course I cheer if they make a big play or score and hi five but I feel like the average Bills fan thinks i'm weird in the stands with my arms crossed just watching. -

It is defintely zone not man coverage. To me its either Cover 3 with a Robber safety dropping in the hole and Hamlin has to rotate or its Cover 6 and Poyer messes up. If its Cover 6, the Cover 4 is to the field and the Cover 2 is to the boundary which means that Poyer screwed it up. I believe its Cover 6 because Jackson on the left turns and starts slide stepping reading the QB and his eyes. Hamlin backpedals in a straight fashion and doesn't look like he rotates in the slightest. Milano has the flat on the other side while you see Tre White getting to the deep quarter. I think Poyer got sucked up when he has the deep quarter. -
I honestly would do a mush rush against him and not get up field. I want Justin Fields to beat me with his arm and his lack of weapons. They are missing Darnell Mooney, most likely will be without Claypool who has a knee injury, and have been missing Khalil Herbert who might or might not be back. Don't expect a lot of sacks this week. Expect a slowed down rush with a Milano,Edmunds spy and the expectation that we will hold up on the back end in coverage.

yea that’s the thought of Morse is in and Bates is out then RG if Morse is out and Bates is in then Bates Center Boettger RG
-
If anything it will keep Van Roten off the field which is def a bonus. Boettger isn’t anything special but he’s not a turnstile on the inside.

All teams have their issues. All teams treat the Bills/Chiefs every week like it’s their SB. It’s hard, even with how talented both teams are, to get up for every opponent and blow them out. The key is that these teams keep winning despite all that

NFL Week #15 - Playoff seeding version - Chiefs @ Texans

NFL Week #15 - Playoff seeding version - Chiefs @ Texans
gonzo1105 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bengals would be the 1, the Bills 2, and the Chiefs 3. I'm under the assumption that the team the Bills lose to is the Bengals. If that happens then this scenario is accurate. -

A lot of times it’s not pretty but we’re 11-3 and we’re at worst going to finish 13-4 most likely. We are going to win the AFC East again and if we can get by the Bengals we will be the # 1 seed for the playoffs. We have won 5 in a row , 3 in a row vs division rivals and every team treats us and the Chiefs like it’s their Super Bowl. -

So did you make the playoffs in your fantasy league?
gonzo1105 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I started out 7-1 and finished 9-5 and finished as the 3rd seed for the playoffs. My team is not really that good but I won a ton of terrible low scoring games. I'm the 3rd lowest scorer in the league so it goes to show you how luck I got. QBs-Cousins, Brady, Watson RBs- Ekeler, Najee Harris, Singletary, Zonovan Knight, Raheem Mostert WRs- Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins, George Pickens, Donovan Peoples Jones, Darius Slayton TEs- Knox, Noah Fant Defense- Jets Kicker- Carlson Lost Javonte Williams(my 2nd rounder), which spurred me to trade for Najee Harris. Allen out most of the year, Hopkins suspended 6 games, lost Michael Thomas for the year. My team was pure dog poo at one point. Just lucky to be in the dance but I think I have a solid enough team now to make a run if I get lucky. -
Week 15: Dolphins at Bills on Saturday Night Football
gonzo1105 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
As I said in another thread earlier in the week, the Bills usually are at a disadvantage when they play in these types of elements but playing the Dolphins in this weather is actually a rare advantage. The Dolphins are obviously in warm weather all year. If it's windy, their QB has a weak arm and will have trouble cutting through the elements particularly on down field passes. Tyreek Hill, who has a bum ankle, will have trouble on a slick surface even if he's at 70%. The Dolphins also lost their starting RB Jeff Wilson who I doubt plays and Raheem Mostert has been playing with a bulky knee that last 4 or 5 games as well. Dolphins defense also struggles away from home in trying to stop anyone. Just look at the splits this year its a huge difference. -
Justin Jefferson Having Fun (this is not trolling the Bills)
gonzo1105 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well the last time this happened with Kyler Murray creating a Hail Murray chain or whatever it was, the Bills went on an ungodly tear of wins and were off to a great start this time around as well as we are 4-0 since that game.
