  1. My thought is it’s gotta be well give up Obada or Addison. Beane spoke highly of Johnson on STs (maybe that’s GM speak) but usually Beane is a straight shooter. Addison was also out there pretty late for a veteran guy
  2. no but prob whether they want to keep him on the ps or not
  3. prob want to see if Fromm can play and want to give him reps with the 2s to prove it
  4. a guy who won’t be cut on most teams in the NFL right now it’s Nick Mcloud or Cam Lewis
  5. This team desperately needs another quality corner. I get both Wallace and Jackson are out but yuck
  6. 3 out of 5 ain’t bad. Surprising that they kept Love as I gotta think he will pursue a different opportunity than the PS again for the Bills. Griffin I can see why they kept. Thought Hester initially but with Star and Oliver likely not playing and Phillips hurt they are gonna need Bryant and Hester to take the bulk of the reps in this final game
  7. I get that and my thought process is a lot like yours. Sweeney can’t stay healthy(heart issue, now this years injury). Gilliam can play 3rd TE like he did last year, and he doesn’t provide STs value like Johnson, Stevenson, or one of the DBs. In addition the Bills go a lot of 10 and 11 personnel and I don’t expect that to change a lot this year making a 3rd TE with injury history and no STs value very vulnerable. Spencer Brown can come in on short yardage 3rd TE situation with Gilliam at FB. People must remember Brown is a converted former TE as well so he could catch in goal line situations. Just food for thought
  8. Yea I mean I don’t disagree with most of this. I could honestly see 2 TEs making it in Knox and Hollister and letting Sweeney go to keep Johnson as another DE or to keep Stevenson as a 7th WR or maybe to keep an extra DB like Lewis or Wildgoose
  9. I get Thompson looks decent but you have to pair down the safeties at some point and he’s low man. Poyer, Hyde, Johnson, Hamlin, Thomas all will be or have a better shot at the roster. Only way I don’t see him cut this round is simply because Jaquan Johnson Is hurt and may not play and they need an extra body for the final preseason game
  10. most of his muffs came in the preseason with Denver so they aren’t an official stat that’s why you think he has more but the stats don’t say that
  11. Yup let him stay for the year, Daboll gets a head job signs Trubisky, take the comp pick and say thank you very much then sign a Bridgwater/Lock/Darnold next year if they flip and rinse and repeat
  12. Saf- Tariq Thompson DE- Mike Love TE- Bug Howard OL- Tyler Gauthier CB- Olijuah Griffin
  13. Addison with his age and contract is not a tradeable asset. If he’s gone he’ll be cut
  14. that’s not what I said at all. If you were looking at things evenly, without the idea Basham was a 2nd round pick, Basham would prob be the odd man out. That’s what I said, I also said he clearly isn’t going to be cut. Which is what makes the decision super hard. Obada, Addison, or Johnson is going and I think I’d lean towards cutting Addison but I don’t think that happens
  15. Some really interesting decisions to come. Tons of depth on this team that could play significant roles for other teams. Stevenson’s injury may make him IR eligible for redshirt getting us to 6 WRs and making that decision easier. Same with Hodgins. DE may be harder. Ideally Basham goes but we all know they aren’t cutting a 2nd rounder. I’m thinking Obada or Johnson gets traded at some point
  16. Jordan Devey has been pretty awful for a veteran guy who has NFL regular season playing experience
  17. Is it possible the Bills only keep 2 TEs with Gilliam as a 3rd option and keep 7 WRs. I think that’s very possible
  18. I think you have to find a way to keep Stevenson. I don’t know how you do it but he’ll get swooped up if we try to practice squad him
  19. Fields makes this 2nd half watchable, I wanna see the Bills make him struggle after his success last week.
  20. Its clear that their goal going in was to establish the running game since most of their weapons were not playing in this game. It was a big issue for them last year and they want to improve on that this year. It was boring for sure but something that they wanted against live competition. Plus it was a basic playbook of not showing much for the season. Most of the pass plays were waggles and rolls aimed for the TE group. Very basic stuff. I told a coworker last night it was very encouraging to me that the Bills backups were controlling the game against the Lions starters. Shows the depth the Bills have as they were up 3-0 then 10-3
  21. Man this is tough.Guys like Daryl Johnson and Isaiah Hodgins prob don’t have enough tape to get draft capital. Hughes and Addison are too old with bigger contracts for me seeing that to happen. The most likely guys I could see are Kumerow(the bills did cut him last year mid season), Harrison Phillips, and one of the Guards are most likely in my opinion. I could see a DE but who? Obada is the only one I can see but he seems to be having a good camp
  22. I read the headline and said man this should be a really good read. Read the article and was like okay that wasn’t what I expected. Great Beane had a good relationship with the Agent and Milano wanted to stay. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff
  23. My biggest thing with Wawrow is his questions are always like this. Yes he particularly stammered because he tip toed trying to get an answer without pissing Poyer off , but his questions are always excessively long winded and too descriptive as if he is trying to get a player to go a certain direction. Half the time when he asks a question about halfway through I’m like get to the point already and stop talking. No one in The Bills media is anywhere close to as long winded with questions. I can’t be the only one who notices this. People will also defend him in this thread solely because he gets on these boards from time to time with his viewpoints which people will obviously still want
  24. That is cheaper than going rate thats under 40 million a year which is around what the QBs are getting in annual salary, in this scenario, Allen would be getting 38.5 a cheap discount. I guess you could argue maybe he would take 35 to keep opportunities to win but we'll see.
  25. Beane will get the most cap friendly deal he can even from Allen. My guess is you’ll see 8 years 310 million(slight discount) with 250 million guaranteed
