  1. I doubt it....my guess in a trade down with like Philadelphia would be for someone like Donte Whitner S Ohio State, Ernie Sims LB Florida ST(Cover 2 fit), or Winston Justice....but to be honest i dont think Philly wants to trade up to get a DT I think they want Justice and are willing to trade up to get him.

  2. Just say no to Bunkley.  How many years did he contribute at FSU?  How many years did he show he was worthy of such a high pick?

    One.  This year.

Before that, he barely made it into the rotation, and even when he did...he flopped.  Then this offseason, he suddenly surges into the Top 10?

    Uh-uh.

This guy has workout warrior written all over him.  Big with the attributes but showed nothing on the field until last season.  If the Bills draft Bunkley, then the Draft is off to a terrible start since they once again bought into the hype of yet another flop.

Give me a guy like Huff or Justice, guys who have demonstrated their skills for years at the college level AND have the potential to translate that game into the NFL.  To me, Bunkley is just the second coming of Andre Wadsworth...big with the measureables, low on the football consistency.

i can understand where your comin from i really can and yes bunkley for the most part only was a stud for one year at the college level but there are many reasons for that. He first of all in his first 2 years didn't play just because he was at FSU which has a butt load of talent. His third year he was apart of a rotation. If you watch FSU games you'll notice FSU rotates a ton of players around and only leave in one DT most of the game. Bunkley wasn't that DT till his senior year. The fact you even mentioned Wadsworth shows how unknowledgable you are with FSU because Wadsworth despite busting in the NFL was a two time All American which proves that it doesn't matter how well you play at the college level the NFL is a different ball game. I'm not gonna assume too much but I assume you want Ngata. Well if you look Ngata really was only a stud for one year as well this year. Plus Ngata was at Oregon which usually doesn't have the talent that FSU has year in and year out. I guess you need to tell the Bengals what a bad decision they made taking Carson Palmer # 1 after only having one good year in college. If you want to compare stats Bunkley absolutely dominates Ngata in every stat from this past year. Frankly i'm a Bills fan and an FSU fan so i have bias but no matter who Buffalo picks I have to live with it and will learn to accept the pick so whether its Bunkley, Ngata or someone else then i'll live with it, I just wanted you to know that Bunkley was no workout warrior.

  3. I'm gonna say the same thing that i said on nfl draft countdown about him. He didn't benefit from Williams and Lawson none of them benefitted from each other. I'm an FSU fan and i've seen a ton of their games and most of the time it was McCargo getting double teamed letting Mario and Lawson go one on one with the tackles. I'm not saying Williams and Lawson never got doubled but there is a lot of times where they are one on one while McCargo gets doubled. They are all very talented and if McCargo had stayed in school another year he would have been a sure fire 1st rounder next year.

  4. An EFA is an exclusive rights FA which means he has no power to negotiate with other teams. If he is tendered he is with the Bills next year. Done!

An RFA is tendered on 3 levels lowest you get a pick of the round the player was drafted in. Middle a first rounder and highest a 1st and 3rd rounder.

Thus Jason Peters an EFA was tendered so he can't negotiate with other teams and will be a Bill next year.

  5. Out of all those options. .....I'd say McCown but I think he will get a lot of interest, and I have always really liked Craig Nall. They said they would bring in a non marquee guy who got overlooked in a place like Young in Tampa and I feel with some coaching up Craig Nall could be successful in this league much like Jake Delhomme.

  6. I think it is a good possibility that D'Brick falls to the Bills who is gonna take him besides the Jet

SF just put in a bunch of money on Jennings and have Kwame Harris at the other end

Oak has Gallery on one side and they supposedly love Williams and if he isn't there they will most likely take Ngata

If the Jets pass on him there is no point in trading up unless you think someone might try to trade ahead of us.

  7. back in the day I believe Simeon Rice went 2 to Arizona and then Kevin Hardy went 3 to Jacksonville both out of Illinois.

As for Miami, are you kidding me yes they have low character players. Some idiot from Miami with his teammates recently made a rap song about raping women and doin drugs and stuff like that how stupid is that?

  8. Hey guys I'm holding a Virtual GM mock draft on another website if anyone is interested. This is for serious people only not guys who will half ass it. You have to check it everyday. There will be 30 spots two are already taken and each GM will have to work under the salary cap of their selected team. If your interested PM me and i'll get back to you in more detail.

  9. This will never happen. Yes I can see D'Brick falling to the Bills that is cool. There is no way that Broderick Bunkley falls to the 3rd round. A lot of people now think he is the 2nd best DT in the draft and could go in the teens let alone the 3rd round. As for the top 5, thats very original(not saying bad) Maroney was my only surprise out of there. There is news coming out of Nashville which might surprise a lot of people. The Titans have continously brought in Jay Cutler for meetings with their staff. Word is the Titans want to find a trading partner with somebody(recently Arizona) to trade down so they can get Cutler and Arizona can get Young. Also if Tennessee is unable to find a draft partner they would seriously consider drafting Jay Cutler with the 3rd pick in the draft.

  10. I see everyone is not greatly happy with Donahoe's draft so far but I completely understand what he is doing. Losman is still a young QB and Donahoe is just trying to give him as many weapons as possible. So I understand these two picks. Parrish will never be a 1 or a 2 but he will be a good slot receiver who can stretch the field. Everett is an average blocker with good receiving skills as well. Tomorrow I bet we use our 4th round pick on Antaaj Hawthorne(I know this will ease people's minds about the DT situation) and in the 5th we will either take Jason Brown or Ben Wilkerson or the best C available(this will help our o-line). Then we will take a corner late and probably a LB and call it a weekend.
