  1. Smart of Edmunds to ask for a 4 year deal so he can cash in again before he’s old. He’ll get another contract at 28 or 29
  2. I like it only if because his contract will qualify for the comp formula so he'll negate McGovern with Edmunds, Poyer, and Singletary most likely finding new homes.
  3. I can’t wait for a ton of burner accounts to post bills news to be posted on here only to be completely untrue.
  4. No he’s not staying unless he finds out his market is more dry than he thinks. I honestly think he’ll get a deal like Matthieu last year. 3 years 30 million
  5. I’ve literally said all 3 of these things for months. You dont resign big money safeties for 10+ million a year when they’re 32. If anything this past year, where Poyer had multiple injuries is an indicator they shouldn’t do that. I wouldn’t be against Edmunds but if your going to pay him than 20 million a year for a guy who doesn’t affect top QBs than no thanks. I’m sure he doesn’t get enough credit but that’s bad asset allocation. I am an FSU fan, Ramsey was excellent at the beginning of his career in Jacksonville. He is still a good CB I’m not saying he sucks but has been declining for the last 2 years in my opinion. His name keeps overvaluing him. Id actually say you doom and gloom. How are the Bills supposed to add more Allen weapons if they’re paying two LBs, Two Safeties, a DE, and a DT over 10 million a year. It’s not feasible. I suspect you’ll see the Bills go offense heavy.
  6. He’s overrated. I don’t care if they get him. They still can’t rush the passer
  7. I also would like Dillard on a flyer but are the Bills willing to move Dawkins to LG. Dawkins would be the 6th highest Guard in the league as it stands right now
  8. Both of these guys have hit rates on players as well as anyone else in here but present it better. For every guy that they projected to be great there have been 3 or 4 they propped up that are not good. It’s not a knock, everyone has grades on players and some are right and down a wrong
  9. my man sniped a lot of 1 and two yard TDs dropping that YPC
  10. Azeez Al-Shaahir LB-been a backup to Greenlaw and Warner but had a really good 2021 year. Still just 26 years old. Probably not going back to the 49ers but might end up in Houston because DeMeco Ryan’s is there now. David Edwards OG- Has been really good when healthy but hasn’t really been able to stay healthy Richie James WR- Probably the most high profile guy out of the 3 but I loved watching him with the average Daniel Jones. I wonder what he can do with an upper end QB like Allen. I think he’s underrated and would be a solid add depending on cost.
  11. Yes, I Agree that the Bears got fleeced all things considered
  12. I don’t think the Bears got enough to be honest. Was DJ Moore valued as a 1st rounder must have been based on what they got Its basically a first, 2 seconds, 2 thirds and DJ Moore who was either valued as a first or 2nd round pick
  13. look at my previous post I said you can get up to 4 picks for PLAYERS. I then stated SF got 4 for players and 3 for coaches. All minority coaches are 3rds so figured it didn’t need to be explained
  14. I actually just read and learned that players with 10 accrued season who receive mega contracts like Millers can receive a maximum of a 5th round pick. Learned something new today
  15. There is no snaps played, Pro Bowls etc. Thsts folk lore from before people figured out compensatory picks and talking heads would just spout it as fact. It’s literally gained/lost not matter who the player. Contract negation on like average per year salaries. More lost than signed. Eligible for picks. What threshold do the eligible picks meet and comp picks
  16. Yes you can have a general idea. The only real hold up is getting the financial thresholds for each round every year because it adjusts. The people who follow this stuff knew we weren’t going to get any months ago.
  17. Ok I’ll try to make it as easy as possible. There are also certain thresholds for salaries so if we lose or sign a guy under the minimum threshold it doesn’t count to the formula. Cut players don’t count in the formula. There are also only 32 comp picks given out. Each team can get a max 4 comp pick on players and additional comp picks on minority coaches which is how the 49ers got 7. So let’s say this year: the Bills lose 4 guys that meet the minimum amount. The amounts are the average per year pay. So we lose Edmunds for 17 million, Poyer for 10 million, Singletary signs for 4 million a year, and Rodger Saffold for 4 million a year. Then we go out and sign a non cut player like idk let’s say OG Isaac Seumelo for 11 million a year and he’s our only Free Agent we sign that wasn’t cut. We lose: Edmunds 17 million Poyer 10 million Singletary 4 million Saffold 4 million We gained: Isaac Seumelo for 11 million Thats a net lose of 3 players which means the Bills are now eligible for 3 comp picks. They then take the 2 most like Average per year and negate each other. In this case Poyer contract is the most like Seumelo. That leaves us with Edmunds, Singletary, and Saffold as players we can get comp picks for. Based on last years threshold we would get 3rd for Edmunds, 6th for Singletary, and a 6th for Saffold.
  18. It’s not hard. If you gain more Free Agents then you lose you get nothing. If you lose more Free Agents and then you sign you’re eligible for that amount of comp picks. Then they take like salaries of players gained/lost and take them out of the equation leaving two guys you get picks on. Over the cap is like 95% accurate and make it very easy to learn
  19. Not anymore, if you believe he is a top Guard in the league which some believe he would be his salary would fall in line with the top guys at his position.
  20. 1. Trenton Simpson LB Clemson 2. Tucker Kraft TE South Dakota State 3. Jammie Robinson SAF FSU 4. Sydney Brown SAF Illinois 5. Chase Brown RB Illinois 6. Mohamoud Diabete LB Utah 7. Charlie Jones WR Purdue 8. Riley Moss CB Iowa 9. Jake Andrews OC/OG Troy 10. Lonnie Phelps DE/LB Kansas Late round guys who peak my interest: Chandler Zavala- Think he can be a starter but position flex could be an issue only played LG in College SirVocea Dennis LB/Saf Pitt- He’ll at the very least be a long time ST in the NFL. Probably will get drafted and I really like Pitt defenders. Always seemed to get coaches up well. Jartavius Martin CB/S Illinois- Gets overshadowed by Sydney Brown but I think he can be a good depth player early on and valuable for teams because he can play multiple positions. Ali Gaye DE/LB LSU- This one is the projection to me. Built like a prototype. Has had good pass rushing games but is raw. He’ll either be a huge steal or out of the NFL early.
  21. Chris Nowinski a former WWE wrestler and Harvard Grad is the top researcher in CTE I agree that the medical industry has come a long way but we still have a very long way to go particularly with the brain, nervous system, genetics, and gut health affecting other areas of the body
  22. If Allen became a check down master and it led to a SB I wouldn’t care.
  23. Yes I think we could either get a 2nd or a combination of like a 3 and 5 for him.
  24. Nope, it’s irreversible damage. My guess is there is management of symptoms but there is no cure for it. The medical field barely knows how the brain or the central nervous system works. There are so many syndromes that are supposedly idiopathic. Idiopathic just means they don’t know how it happens and is a fancy way to make you feel better about yourself. Most of them are most certainly either a brain or nervous system malfunction.
  25. A fig can be a tree and a tree has wood , so it must be Eric Wood
