Seems like a high chunk of change for a guy who's been a disappointment but Idk Josh Oliver went for 7 million a year. Guy can catch for sure but he can't block at all.

I wonder if McKenzie has some late round trade value. Cheap contract, a lot of game film, can punt return(tho not great), good gadget player. Wonder if we could snipe a 6th or 7th for him

Anyone just sit back and appreciate it?

He did play but Aikman was awful in the last SB against the Bills. The cowboys won the game because they forced, shocker, the Bills to turn he ball over in the 2nd half. -

Yes and No I suppose. If you look at it from the perspective of the drought then yea you probably appreciate it more. If you look at it from we need to win a Super Bowl then no I don't think you do. Being one of the best 8 teams every year only to lose when it counts is more important to a lot of people. What's the point of going to the dance if your not going to kiss the promo queen at the end of the night. That type of thing. I disagree about the 4th super bowl. The 4th SB looked like that but we absolutely dominated the Cowboys in the first half. The problem was we were only up 13-6. Then Thomas fumbles and you could hear that air come out of the team. -
If it’s being reported, it’s not true lol

Yay for excitement for somebody we hope never plays a game.

Some of you guys are insufferable man. The cap hit isn't even big. Some of you are stuck in the 90's when it comes to the cap. When McGovern signed 80% of this board was like wow thats too much because they think guards still make 3-4 million a year when the top guys are signing for over 20 and a lot of the top other guys make between 10 and 15. McGovern is like the 21st highest paid guard right now and by the contract is up he'll probably be around 30. Thats cheap if you think he's a good starting guard in the NFL. The Hardy contract is UP TO 13.5 million dollars. Which means he's not guaranteed to get all 13.5 unless he's playing really well. Its less than a 4 million cap hit. Its basically 9.5 million over 2 years or 4.75 million a year with the opportunity to make more.

I like when Free Agency opens because you tend to get updates on who is visiting where , which gives you an actual indication of interest. The Bills in the past, when linked to a player on twitter, are rarely if ever, actually going after them. That’s why I’m hesitant on the David/Wagner news cause any random Joe can see we have a hole at MLB and those two are the big name guys remaining

I still don’t think Poyer is coming back. It will take a big chunk of ego to come back to the Bills on a discount vs another team

All I know is if Elijah Moore gets released the Bills will try to sign him. The Bills were very close to taking him in the draft and he would crush it with Allen if he can get his head on straight after having to deal with Zach Wilson

I think what he’s saying is it appears Beane doesn’t restructure unless he has something in the boat that he has to pay for.

To defend him Taylor was bad before this season and he still wasn’t great. Chiefs are banking on the player they can coach him up to be more than the play he has shown to this point

7 million dollars for a Guard isn’t that much nowadays. He’d be the 19th highest paid guard before Powers contract he’s probably going to be the 21-23rd highest paid guard in the nfl

Bills have shown interest in Lavonte David.

You don’t dedicate 10 million a season to a 32 year old safety who last year started showing his age in coverage and with his body(multiple injuries). This is the perfect time to walk away from him -
Basically a lot like McGovern. Stuck behind Warner and Greenlaw as the 3rd LB. Greenlaw got hurt in 2021 and Al-Shaahir stepped in and didn’t miss a beat. 49ers signed Greenlaw to an extension basically leaving no spot and has been a really good backup last year. 25 years old looking for a chance to step out of the shadows
