Bills want stadium deal done by the end of the year
gonzo1105 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Give me Seattle’s or Minnesota’s stadium. Don’t really care where, I go to watch a football game unlike most who want an experience. I prefer a roof but I don’t think that’s happening -
The Raiders absolutely refuse to get out of man coverage. Their killing themselves by being stubborn
-
And on that drive, the Raiders went 2 deep man under instead of running straight man. Making them throw short, good adjustment by the Raiders before they got killed
-
And that’s a fumble
-
I always hate when coaches think their smarter than what the tape shows. The Raiders are gonna get toasted playing man coverage. Get your asses in the soft cover 2 like every other team
-
I think they are better than most people on the board are giving them credit for. I think their a legit threat for a 5-7 spot in the playoffs
-
Well the Bills got a little bit of help this week with the Chargers, Broncos, and Ravens all losing. The lose to the Jags really killed us though because it would have gained bigger separation from the pack. I still want the Chiefs to lose to the Raiders tonight.

11/7/21 Gameday Bills @ Jaguars First Half Thread
gonzo1105 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why in the world would you not take the penalty there. Did you not see the guy bury the 53 yarder to beat the Dolphins? Take the penalty and make it 3rd and 15 -

Might be like the Jets game last year. This o line stinks. Give Bates or Doyle a shot if I have to watch this all game -

Has league-wide officiating gotten worse?
gonzo1105 replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not sure officiating has gotten worse per say as technology has gotten so good to show every little error they make because their are HD cameras, multiple angles, super slow motions etc. Also I don’t think their necessarily hiring the best officials to move up to that level but promoting based on nepotism with officials being moved up because of their fathers, the hiring of less qualified workers due to equality issues and the NFL acting like they care because their in the public eye etc That’s my opinion it’s a combo of things -
No talent doesn’t trump everything. The Bills have proven that theory inaccurate. You could argue the Bills don’t have a single player best at their position in the game. Allen and maybe Micah Hyde come close to that but aren’t. The Browns and Chiefs prob have the best talent in the AFC and neither are in the playoffs as it sits today

I love how people keep talking about how the Bills won’t win a Super Bowl as constructed and need to make a big move. Yes they need help at Guard, CB, and maybe RB but the Bills are the best team in the AFC with maybe the exception of the Ravens/Titans. This is after they got mauled by the Chiefs last year and everyone this off-season complained about how the Chiefs got so much better adding Thuney, Orlando Brown, and Jarran Reed. Yet theBills are 5-2 on their way to 7-2 and the Chiefs are 4-4. How many Super Bowls have the Rams won? The Eagles dream team won nothing, the Redskins signed tons of big name FAs and got zero. Sometimes continuity and chemistry are more important. I hope they do add a big physical guard but if they don’t I get it

I agree that Miller hasn’t been like his former self but at times I wonder if a change of scenery for a guy knowing he’s playing on a title contender with other guys around him makes this appealing. im sure the Rams know he has lost a step but are banking on this reasoning

Derrick Henry potential season ending injury
gonzo1105 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree that the schedule/and just the overall inconsistency of the AFC that the Bills should be the one. I mean we’re staring down 7-2 with the Colts and Saints ( both very winnable after that) -
Derrick Henry potential season ending injury
gonzo1105 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
The road to the 1 seed is going to come down to the Bills and Ravens/Bengals. Can’t see the Titans maintaining without Henry. The West is gonna cannibalize itself and we’re seeing the Chargers aren’t as good as believed -
Somethings GOT to be done a the interior o line
gonzo1105 replied to TheBeaneBandit's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think in the Saints case he was like 13 mill on the cap and they drafted Cesar Ruiz early. Idk if he’d come back to the NFL but if your looking for a mid season upgrade from Ford/Feliciano/Boettger without spending a ton of money or giving up draft capital then he is your guy -

It’s funny because their actually is, but it’s weird and I honestly would place a call to see if you can get him to come out of whatever he’s doing right now. Larry Warford Is still a Free Agent. He’s 30 now and a former 3 time pro bowler who opted out of 2020 then was released by the Saints. He basically took no visits and wanted to start a family. Maybe the chance to want to restart your career with a SB opportunity makes it worthwhile to him. You want a possible top end guard without making a trade, he’s your guy. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29554086/free-agent-guard-larry-warford-opts-2020-season%3fplatform=amp
