Who’s the best QB prospect in the ‘24 draft class?
gonzo1105 replied to bills6969's topic in College Football
No offense but you also told everyone how Rasul Douglas was a backup which has been proven completely wrong and Ty Johnson was a waste of a signing. I've made mistakes too in evaluations but at least I'll readily admit I was wrong on O'Cyrus Torrence and Terrel Bernard. I'm not saying that Williams will be a bad NFL QB, I'm just saying I dont think he is a Mahomes level player. Its always nice being stacked in a QB friendly offense with future NFL talent or past guys in the NFL (Addison) in college going against subpar defenses week in and week out. Lets see how the guy does when he's apart of the Bears organization or someone else who lacks talent and he has to make up for it. Some guys can do it and some guys can't. His attitude in college tells me he's one who wont overcome it. -

Just because guys have awesome numbers in a college system designed for QB's doesn't mean they are going to be a high level unstoppable QB. Kyler Murray's offense averaged 48 points per game in 2018 and he has been a very average QB in the NFL. I actually compare the two very similarly. Murray also had a ***** attitude much like Williams does. Great QB's don't pout after every loss like a petulant child. Baker Mayfields team averaged 45 points per game his last season. Both guys who played in Lincoln Riley's offense who put up more PPG in College than what your pointing out and both have been disappointments relative to their draft positions. Your also all over the place in your other posts. You claim Bo Nix will be terrible because he played against terrible defenses but in Williams point you state that Williams played against the best Pac 12 in years. That Bo Nix plays in a super friendly QB system. Well guess what so does Williams, just look at all the QB's in Riley's system again. Not disagreeing as I think Nix will be not a great pro but pointing out the discrepancies here. -

Looked a lot better since the brace has been off. -
With the way the Jags are there with inconsistency there is no guarantee they beat the Bucs or the Titans on the road

Jacksonville really starting to play with fire when it comes to their playoff chances

I mean in that scenario I suppose its possible the Bills are left out but I'm not sure how the 4 way tiebreakers would work and the likelihood of that all happening is basically slim to none. Cincinnati would have to go into Arrowhead with a backup QB and win. Cincinnati would have to beat Cleveland and have that be Cleveland's only loss. Its just as likely that Cleveland losses their last 3 as anyone. Their @ Houston next week and Cj Stroud will be back, then they play the Jets who most people are chalking up as a win but what if Rodgers gets cleared and actually plays in that game, then they have to play @ Cincinnati to end the season.
-
If the Jags lose tonight, they are now in real danger of falling out as well. They have to be careful as both Houston and Indy are right there with them. Still the favorites for sure but they have Baltimore tonight, @ TB who is playing for their division, Carolina(easy W) and @ Tennessee at the end of the season. You would think 3-1 there but I could easily see 2-2 If the Bills win out they wont need any help, they will be in for sure whether as a divisional winner or a WC. If they lose 1 to go 10-7 lets say to Miami, then we need a bunch of different scenarios to play out.

It's already time to start getting ready for the Chargers

Its Easton Stick or Max Duggan, Herbert aint walking through there with a Interim. We will be fine. Their defense is also god awful. -
Don't go benching him now McDermott

This is an absolute domination on the line of scrimmage holy cow. The Cowboys are demoralized. Reminds me of the game against the Titans when Vince Young was the QB against the Bills where they just manhandled Buffalo upfront over and over again.

Cook vs a Safety- Mismatch ......Cook vs a LB def a mismatch. Can't afford to put a CB on him.
-
God Dorsey was such a moron. This is the Georgia James Cook. A dynamic pass catcher who is hard get the right personnel on him.

***** teams losing to slightly less ***** teams there with Cleveland/Chicago and Houston/Tenn. Boy that was some bad football.

Dolphins game is over. Root for the Titans over the Texans and Bears over Browns for this 1PM window

Jets Officially Open Rodgers 21 Day Window. Back to Practice.

Might be huge for the Browns game if he can get back in time -
Bills need to find one more Denver loss in the final 3 if their in the WC hunt
-
Couldn’t get 6 inches on two plays you don’t deserve to win
-
Offside benefiting the Bills big time
-
I think they might keep Poyer next year just because they dont' want to have to replace both at once but I think Hyde and Tre White are gone and they will move on to younger more explosive players. I expect a Safety in the high to mid rounds next year.

Tyreek Hill questionable vs Jets (now listed as inactive)
gonzo1105 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami is going to have to run the ball to be successful in this one. If Hill doesn't play, that secondary is going to bog down that Miami passing attack. With 3 OL out as well the Running game is going to struggle. The question is can Zach Wilson put enough together to put say 20 points on the board to win this game. -
If they had Herbert I'd be more worried but their playing Easton Stick who looked incredibly lost or Max Duggan. We'll be okay.
