  1. Yes I mean I’m not paying Khalil Mack 18 million at this stage in his career. If these are the prices expect some discount bin Bills shopping this offseason
  2. Don’t worry when the Benford deal gets done for like 4 years 90 million we’ll have a bunch of people complaining how we’re giving tons of money to good players
  3. Jaycee Horn just signed an extension so possible parameters for a Benford deal even if he doesn’t get that amount
  4. Just remember if the Bills name is leaked on a player it is almost certifiably false. Beane tends to work in the dark then it pops up and more times than not it’s a guy we weren’t linked to
  5. The NFL is masters of staying in the limelight. Season from August to February Draft Bowl games in March Pro Day, Free Agency, and Draft March-April Rookie Minicamp in May Mandatory minicamp Then Training camp
  6. Right I get that but there are none available , we’re gonna have to draft them. We all know they need more elite players.
  7. Sure, I’m in that camp as well but LeBron wasn’t under contract. He had the choice to go where he wanted and he chose to leave. I don’t blame guys for that. I don’t like guys who typically sign large contracts then try to force their way out
  8. You’re beating a dead point. We had no shot at getting Crosby or Garrett. So this discussion on those players are mute. Metcalf play but I think a lot of people can argue he isn’t a 33 million a year Tier 1 player either. Beyond that who is tier 1 elite player that is available that we know of in the trade market
  9. It’s two fold, I want to play for a contender butttt I also want to be paid at the top of the position. They want both but the almighty dollar will prevail. Humans are inherently greedy creatures
  10. At least he finally decided to get away from Aaron Rodgers and put himself with a guy who can get him the ball
  11. Paulson Adebo has been my # 1 want in this class since the beginning. Think he’s a perfect fit here. Young, has length, can play zone or man coverage, comes from Stanford so you’d assume he’s a smart player which Buffalo covets. Jason Pinnock as a safety would be a nice starter/depth guy here but don’t think we invest heavily at SAF. Josh Palmer or Nick Westbrook. Both are down the field separators and should come relatively cheap, Malcolm Koonce or Joe Tyron would be intriguing DE flyers
  12. Yup I agree here, Hollins had a good year and is older. Probably wants that last payday that maybe the Bills aren’t prepared to give. Same with Ty Johnson, he had a massive season for a 3rd down back, has bounced around the league and wants to capitalize on it vs giving us a discount. Completely understand if both guys test and leave if they get the right offer
  13. Good for Josh, the Bills, and Beane for getting this done and still leaving flexibility. I expect this to save the Bills money somehow this year but how much is the question
  14. What did we pass on . Maybe Buffalo did offer a 2nd but Pittsburghs was better. Maybe Beane made a deal with Seattle but DK wanted too much money. We didn’t lose last year or the years before to the Chiefs because we didn’t have a playmaker. We continuously lose to the Chiefs because they have been more clutch than we have.
  15. Here comes the massive panic already. He’s a good WR but hardly the player everyone makes him out to be. 33 million AAV with no QB and whiny ass George Pickens on the other side , this is going to blow up in Pittsburghs face
  16. 10 mill a year for Jones. RB salaries are def back on the rise
  17. Malcolm Koonce is someone I have advocated for. Looked like he was going to break out before ripping up his knee. Still young, should come cheaper and is familiar with Buffalo going to school here
  18. Nick Bolton back to the Chiefs. Makes the Bernard deal look better now with this deal with a comparable player
  19. Yes Boss and Bosa in SF makes a lot of sense
  20. Yea your probably right just hoping haha
  21. I don’t think so on Hendrickson but I agree he’d be very expensive with the extension. I do agree that Harold Landry would be more cost effective and would upgrade what we have at a more cost effective number between 10-12 mill
  22. This is why trading for a guy is so hard and then playing him. The cost both from a trade standpoint and contract. Hendrickson will at least cost less in terms of draft capital but Hendrickson is going to want 25 mill + on his new deal
  23. Apparently money can solve problems
  24. He was also a 5th round rookie who saw limited snaps. Give a guy a chance who flashed.
