  1. I'm so sick of the we have holes theory and we need to plug in for depth. There is one position that makes your team go around and that is QB. That position makes every other positions weaknesses hidden.

Does drafting any other positions help us win games? How many more games did we win with Marshawn Lynch, Stephon Gilmore etc

We have an all pro DT at 3rd overall. Before Rex ruined him he was getting 8-10 sacks a season. Did he get us in the playoffs? One position matters and that is QB. Tyrod is not going to take this team to a Super Bowl. You have to gamble big to win big sometimes.

  2. Man if I had to go with one on the list I'd probably take Malik Hooker. I'm really intrigued by Obi though. He has the size and athleticism that we desperately need against the Patriots.

With his size speed combo he can develop like Byron Jones and would be one of a handful of guys who might be able to slow down Rob Gronkowski.

In addition, he is a bigger Shaq Thompson who can be the LB/S combo that McDermott really likes to have on his roster. A really flexible, versatile behavior.

Anybody who thinks this guy is gonna be there at 44 is nuts

  3. This defensive personnel is still better suited for a 4-3 instead of a 3-4. With the current personnel not including FAs

    LDE- Shaq Lawson

    DT- Kyle Williams/Adolphus Washington

    NT- Marcelo Dareus

    RDE- Jerry Hughes

    SLB- Reggie Ragland

    MLB- Preston Brown

    WLB- ?????????

    CB-Darby

    CB- FA/Draft/Seymour

    FS- Corey Graham????

    SS- ????????

  4. He reminds me very much of when Mike Tomlin was hired by Pittsburgh. If you recall, Tomlin was a green behind the ears coach with a lot of energy who dcoordinated a top notch defense(Minnesota). A lot of people thought Tomlin was just the Rooney Rule guy for the Steelers and not a serious candidate then everyone was shocked when he was hired

  5. None. I've always been a believer that when you get to the pros, you either have it or you don't as a player. Most NFL teams run variations of the same playbook, teach the same concepts, and go over the same drills. I'm not saying that players don't get better or worse but I think it has more to do with player repitition and learning as the game slows for them. I think that coaching has very little effect besides concepts. Just my opinion

  6. Well, let's see how he does in more than one game. But....as I said in another thread, he had more accurate throws in this one game than Tyrod had all year.

He's played in more than one game this year and USC turn around was due mostly to his play

  7. Remember all those playoff scenarios a couple weeks back. Anyone know how close we were to having all the help we need actually happen this week? Despite our 2 losses.

Tennessee would have eliminated us by defeating Houston and Denver also beat Oakland so two straight we'd still have not gotten in

  8. 2 34 Buffalo A'Shawn Robinson DE34 Alabama

2 49 Buffalo Kentrell Brothers ILB Missouri

3 67 Buffalo Kyler Fackrell OLB34 Utah State

3 80 Buffalo Javon Hargrave DT43 South Carolina St

4 117 Buffalo Fahn Cooper OT Ole Miss

4 139 Buffalo Cardale Jones QB Ohio State

5 156 Buffalo C.J. Prosise RBF Notre Dame

6 192 Buffalo Tavon Young CB Temple

6 218 Buffalo De'Runnya Wilson WRF Mississippi St

Your draft makes no sense since Young went in the 4th round, Prosise went in the 3rd, and Wilson went U drafted and has only garnered tryouts
