Unfortunately, I think Johnson May go undrafted. He was injured his senior year, plays a low level of competition, and has a hard time gaining separation. I could see the Bills trying to sign him as a UDFA if it comes to that

"The Bills are winning this Draft" - Per Matt Miller

I guess I don’t understand the point? Is it GMs miss on guys? Guys fall in the draft? He’s not that great. He’s a big slow WR. The game has changed. Big slow guys are few and far between in success. The hype is seeing him on Youtube and ESPN making the middle of the field one handed catch and then seeing a 40 that wasn’t abysmal and saying wow this guy is faster than I thought, look how big he is, he has to be good! Marques Colston fell because he played at Hofstra, a program that no longer exists. Antonio Brown was a MAC Player. Thielen played at a D2 school. Butler played in the Big 12 and had every scout in the country watching him. Which should indicate that their scouts have a much better feel for what he truly is. -

For all the guys moaning and groaning for Hakeem Butler and why we didn’t take him at 74. If he is sooooo good, why is he still sitting there at pick 101 right now. That means he’s lasted 27 picks(almost a full round) after the Bills took Singletary. Heres why. He’s slow to get moving. It takes him a long time to get up to speed. He’s not a good route runner and will fail to gain separation in the NFL. He also has a history of drops and struggles against physical Corners who get into his chest plate. The problem is people watch his highlights and see a huge WR who has made some fantastic one handed catches and think the guy is unstoppable. He’s Kelvin Benjamin -
I think your going to see a LB for sure for depth and STs play, I think they’d take a DE to compete with Yarbrough and Love. Never bet against a CB. The last one to me is a wildcard. LB CB DE WR/Punter/OL

RD 3, Pick 96: TE Dawson Knox, Ole Miss
gonzo1105 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some of you guys are insufferable tbh. The guy is a great pick and great value at 96. People were talking about him going in round 2. He didn’t have the stats because Mississippi has had QB issues and they have 3 NFL WRs. He was misused by them as well and used as a FB essentially there. Ran a 4.51 is huge and has plus athleticism. Tons of upside. A more complete player than Jace Sternberger. Their worst pick has been Singletary but even he isn’t a bad player just might have been early. Id go: Oliver A+ Ford A Singletary B- Knox A-- 545 replies

RD 3, Pick 74: RB Devin Singletary, Florida Atlantic

I wonder if Singletary was the guy Beane was referring to in his pre draft press conference. I dont remember his exact words but he specifically mentioned one guy who didn’t run the 40 very fast that he swore was faster on tape and that was more important. Also said something like they were comparing guys and how to stack em based on his evaluation. -
I think if your in the Market for a Tackle, Left or right to play early you have to take 1 at 40. If your more interested in a Guard I think you can wait. I think the Bills are going Tackle or CB here just a hunch

If the Bills go corner at 40 it won’t be Greedy Williams, maybe it will be Byron Murphy but it most likely would be Rock Ya-Sin. Perfect McD guy with a lot of skills and the background. I think in no order, this is their top 8 1. Dalton Risner 2. Rock Ya-Sin 3. A.J Brown 4. Irv Smith 5. DK Metcalf 6. Byron Murphy 7. Dawson Knox &. Joe Juan Williams

Don’t worry Mayock will be back in 3-4 years

I’m not saying the Bills and Jets haven’t talked deep into a trade but you have to remember the Jets have been desperate to trade, they are in the biggest media market and it’s obvious their team officials leaked this info. It’s basically a big “hey if you want Quinnen Williams, Buffalo is very interested, your going to have to trade with us!!!”. Thats what this stinks of to me. Could it happen sure but I’m betting they are hoping to get a better package from another team not in their division while driving up the price

While I think he is certainly a possibility, I mean it would almost be laughable after this entire off-season of Beane saying "I know you guys dont believe me but we're taking BPA at pick # 9" that he would reach for a position of need and take Christian Wilkins at 9. Of course he can justify it by saying he was the best player available but he seems like a smart enough guy to realize that people would smell that BS from a mile away and literally no one would believe that he was the top guy left on the board. Now after a small trade down to like 14 or 15 and take him then sure but at 9 eh.

Interesting thought on Hock & the Bills on Twitter
gonzo1105 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have been a big Hockenson advocate. For everyone that likes Fant because he's a better athlete, The Iowa Hawkeye's are the most tradition rich TE producing school in the country. T.J. Hockenson started over Noah Fant in one TE sets. Its because he's simply a better player than Fant. He isn't as athletic but he blocks a lot better, he catched the ball more consistently than Fant(who drops a lot of passes). Who cares if you can run fast if you drop the ball. I went back and watched Travis Kelce's Cincinnati tape. He wasn't some fluid athlete in college in my opinion. He actually looked kind of lumbering if you watch his highlights. You also have to remember that he is just 21 years old. He hasn't even tapped his full potential yet. He does look slender for being 250 pounds which makes me believe he can gain another 10 pounds of muscle easy. Rob Gronkowski-4.68 Travis Kelce- 4.63 Zach Ertz- 4.76 Austin Hooper-4.68 George Kittle- 4.52 Those were the top 5 TE's in the NFL by receptions and yards last year. Seems like Hockenson's 4.7 is about right in line besides Kittle. I'm not saying the Bills are going to take him but he's a damn good prospect that everyone underrates because he didn't put up mind blowing passing statistics. -
Dwayne Haskins’ father is a strange dude
gonzo1105 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like a guy who wants to control the stories that are out there because he is a "religious guy" and probably has a good thing going in his community and doesn't want other "sources" painting a different picture about Dwayne and his family that would show them in a different light. Read the whole thing, definitely a different dude. Seems like Haskins would be a good fit for the NY media. -
Or you didn’t really read and you have zero evidence that they would take him for fact. It’s actually a big difference in your case. 11 picks to be exact to fall out of the first round. That’s literally 35 % of a difference. Unless your Eric DeCosta or John Harbaugh I’m pretty sure you don’t know this as definitively as your trying to portray. I’m not saying he is going on the 2nd. If I’m the GM am I investing a top 10 pick into a guy with a heart condition as a difference maker for my team while paying him millions and hoping? My answer would be No.
