I’m thinking do the Bills take Guice who is falling like a Rock
-
I could see the Bills trading 96, one of the 2018 5th founders and a 19 4th rounder to get a player they really like in early round 3 or late round 2
-
I think the Bills intend to sit him the entire year. They have 9 picks as of now for 2019, also have a lot of cap space to fix the Oline and WR corps etc.
They are gonna let McCarron and Peterman take 2018. If we take a big step back then we have a high 1st rounder to draft a premium Oline or WR to help him out
-
The Bills have some extra ammo in next year's draft so don't be surprised if there is a trade up if they really like a guy. In 2019 they have an extra 4th from the Reggie Ragland trade, and an extra 7th rounder for the Cardale Jones trade. So right now they are sitting on 9 draft picks and 100 million in cap space.

Man Brandon Beane is playing this like a champ right now, dudes gonna get his QB and keep most of his picks

Or they are trying to smoke teams by getting someone to trade ahead of them for Allen so Rosen or Darnold will fall to 3

Meanwhile, it was reported today that Josh McDaniels worked out Lamar Jackson in Florida. That's makes two workouts for Jackson with the Patriots. Hmmm, maybe he's not quite as dumb as the geniuses here think he is...

To be fair, Josh McDaniels did Draft Tim Tebow in the 1st round. Let’s not act like McDaniels is some QB genius because he got to work with Tom Brady

Browns trying to get the Giants or Jets to pony up a pick or two to slide to 1. They must truly believe the Jets want Mayfield and by throwing this out there they can drop to 3 and still get the QB they want, which means they also believe the Giants aren’t trading their pick(for a QB) and aren’t taking a QB themselves

Bills stay put at 12 draft BPA. Trade down from 22 to end of round 1 and take Kyle Lauletta. That’s my dark horse prediction

I can't shake that I feel Darnold will be a huge bust in the NFL. I'm not just talking about the turnovers and things like that that media pundits constantly harp on. First he reminds me of Ryan Fitzpatrick. Part of it is probably the same number (14) but they also have the same movements in the pocket, the scrambling, the throwing motion etc.
On top of that when I go back and watch his tape, his best throws are always and I mean always in the middle of the field or he boots to one side and throws to that side of the field. You very rarely see a Deep Out across the field or a deep comeback where he isn't booting. Just go back and watch all of his best throws against Penn State in the Rose Bowl. Did USC know something that people in the NFL don't know. Does he lack arm strength to make those throws?
Just a talking point that I can't seem to shake.

There has been a lot of smoke recently that Rosen could be dropping because of his personality issues. Could be someone just trying to get the kid drop or it could be true that teams are dropping him down their board
-
I think the reason their not going to select Jackson is by their actions. They met with Jackson at the combine but haven’t had him come in for a visit to the facility or privately worked him out etc.
On the the other hand the Bills have met with Rosen, Mayfield, and Rudolph. 3 guys that have been talked about as being within the Bills range at 12. There was an article today, I can’t remember where that said Rosen is dropping in the lead up to the draft(obviously could be false).
I think the Bills haven’t privately met with Darnold and Allen because those 2 guys are out of their range. I think they have been told by teams at the top it’s not happening.

You completely made this up.

This guy and site has been about 95% accurate over the years. So no I didn’t just make it up.

Dont look now folks but if Terrence Fedes contract is a non qualifying comp pic contract(likely) the Bills are actually -1 in the comp formula and would get one because Phillip Gaines contract (630,000 yr)is already a Non qualifier.

Here’s the problem with dealing with the Bucs. You only make the deal under two circumstances. A) One of the QBs you really like drops to pick 7 and you trade up on draft day or B) you trade up to 7 because you already have a deal in place for 2 if you can get pick 7.
The problem with scenario B is if the rumors are true the Giants love Darnold, they are not gonna trade down until they know who the Browns take at 1. Right now it sounds like they are leaning towards Allen. In that case, scenario B is highly unlikely to happen unless the Bills, Bucs, and Giants have some crazy 3 team trade worked out in advance of pick number 2 being on the board

I constantly think this too. I think watch, everyone is gonna get caught up in these 4 guys and a guy like Lauletta or Mike White are gonna end up being the best Quarterback's from this class. Would I bet on it? No, but it has definitely crossed my mind that someone else besides the 6 guys constantly mentioned will end up being the best one.

It’s gonna take a lot 12,22,56,65 2019 2nd, 2019 4th rounder. That’s what I’d offer the most. I’d be hesitant giving up the 2019 1st rounder

Smoke screening everyone making them think he wants Josh Allen when he really wants Josh Rosen. It wouldn’t surprise me if he is the one leaking more about the intangibles millennial conversation around the league
-
I think what you’ll see Buffalo will trade somewhere in the 6-11 area to get their guy. I just can’t see the Giants going QB.
The Bills will get the # 4 guy it seems. I think your likely to see Darnold and Allen be the first two off the board. If the Broncos take a QB at 5 (which isn’t a guarantee) the Bills will end up with either Rosen or Mayfield at 6-7
-
I believe the story was that the Bills were trying to trade up in 04. I think they were trying to get the Jaguars who picked 9th to trade with them but the Jags wouldn’t do it because they were dead set on taking Reggie Williams a WR from Washington who ended up busting.
When that didnt happen the rest is history. Steelers take Roethlisberger and we trade up with the Cowboys for Losmsn

He played in every game for 4 yrs straight and made 3 mil over 4 yrs. Pay the man 7mil a yr avg for 4 years and front load it incase a better option come around.
So you advocate giving a guy an extra 3 million dollars a season even tho his market may not dictate that? Doesn’t sound like good managing of the salary camp and shrewd business strategy.
If he was a 7-8 million dollar a year player he would have been signed by now. Truth is he is a 4-5 million dollar a year Player

Sounds like he was about to get cut if he didn’t rework his deal
-
The Plan is to get a legitimate QB who can throw the ball which will make Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones and others look a lot better. Kind of how Marquise Goodwin all of a sudden became really good when they got Jimmy G.
-
Here’s the problem your going to run into. Every one knows the Bills are trading up for a franchise changing QB. That means all these bridge QBs know it as well. They also aren’t dumb to think “oh you guys are gonna let me start for 2 years”. They know as soon as the kid is ready they are gonna play him.
that will seriously limit our options for a bridge guy
What would you like to do with #96?

I hope Harrison Phillips drops but I wouldn’t be surprised if they take a guy like Fred Warner or Josey Jewell to finish off the future LB corps. Milano,Edmunds, Warner/Jewell would be awesome
