  1. This might be the year that the Bills grab some of those vaunted comp picks. Trubisky with a big deal probably out of the gate and our first signing is a guy who was cut and doesn't count.
  2. 👃 Smells like a 1 year deal with a 2nd added to lower the cap number 👃
  3. every year people get enthralled by huge deals but guess what next year the Jags will still be 6-11 at best
  4. Jags spending big money on a guy who is a good player but not as good as he used to be and is starting to get injured a lot.
  5. Cappa is actually a super underrated get. Started all 16 high grades. Not a big name but his game is pretty good. 10 million is cheaper than what I thought he’d get to be honest
  6. Dont be surprised if the depth piece is also Austin Blythe OG/OC from the Chiefs. Spent time with Kromer in LA as well. He’d be a Feliciano type signing would be my guess
  7. I gotta think you dont make this move unless you know someone is coming to replace him that is better. I mean their interior offensive line right now is Cody Ford, Jacob Capra, and Mitch Morse. Ryan Bates technically hasn't been re-signed. Unless the plan is to move Dawkins inside they have to be signing one or two interior players to deals pretty soon after FA starts
  8. Yup, a lot of fans want the splash. Reality is we’re close, tight against the cap, and need youth to be developed thru the current roster and the draft the next couple years. Depth signings a starter or two and draft
  9. I think releasing one of them is a possibility. Their both on their last year of their contract. Both are high up in age. Both have high cap hits and if you think that Damar Hamlin or Jaquan Johnson is ready for that role I dont see why its not a possibility.
  10. I think its clear that Dorsey wants to implement more 12 personnel into the Bills. Thats what he has had success with in the past and this is now the 2nd TE being linked to the Bills that has a fairly big name attached to them.
  11. I mean maybe the guy gets revitalized in a new city but he has been pretty average the last couple of years with a bloated salary. He should be able to have more success due to Bosa being there and a good dline but the Bills dont have the cap space to be taking on that massive of a salary right now. Everyone gets all up in arms about every move every other team makes. This time last year it was how the Chiefs were adding all these big stars in Orlando Brown, Jarran Reed, Joe Thuney and we were doomed and falling further behind pace of the Chiefs. If we didn't have coaching blunders that same Bills team would have beaten the Chiefs. Sometimes big stars dont really amount to much in the end.
  12. It’s gonna be hilarious in this place when Davis slips to 25, Bills fans go ape thinking we’re gonna get him then the Bills take Zion Johnson etc
  13. i'd rather have Donte Jackson than JC Jackson imo. Better fit for the Bills and what they like to do on defense. Will also be expensive but not quite to the level of JC Jackson
  14. Not a shocker but looking more like he’s cut
  15. He had a breakout season last year but I think he's a way better fit in a 3-4
  16. Not really you can’t take a odd game and say see you need a 2 down run stuffer. This isn’t 1990. He’ll be taken out of most of the games with high passing attacks. So the Bills faced how many running teams last year. The Colts, Steelers, and Titans, throw the Pats in twice. So a schedule last year of 5 of 17 teams= 30% of the schedule he would have been of good value in as a 2 down player with no pass rush skills. It’s not worth a first rounder. The only way it makes sense is if he develops into Vita Vea which I don’t see. I think it’s more likely he eats his way out of the NFL than he does becoming a dominant pass rusher
  17. I think 8-10 million is about right for a bridge QB. If it’s the Steelers you sign Trubisky , draft a QB and develop while Trubisky gets a year or whatever
  18. Troy Anderson ran a 4.41 40 impressive athlete. Another small school guy that fits the MO is OT Matt Waletzko from North Dakota. His RAS score was 9.9 almost perfect.
  19. So then your not drafting him at 25. You don’t take a 2 down player in the first round, no matter how good those two downs are in a passing league
  20. there are other guys but yes the depth of WR is way deeper than CB. I would rather get a CB in Free Agency and the perfect fit is Donte Jackson from Carolina but he’ll be expensive
  21. Just goes to show you how the team around him had let him down. With those stats we should have been in a SB by now
  22. He’s not that great. He takes a while to get his punts off. Yes they go far but none have hangtime. Half the time, the returnees don’t even catch it and it rolls. When they did get returned they were for large gains because he’s out kicking his coverage. He’s going to get drafted higher than he should. The PSU and Georgia kid can be had in 5-7 and are just as good
  23. He’s not as good as people make him out to be. Stout from Penn State and the Georgia punter are also great options and won’t take a 3rd rounder to get him
  24. There ain’t no grooming Penning as a replacement for Feliciano. Dudes a legit top 20 pick and immediate replacement to somebody on that line. Might force Dawkins inside, and with his salary 10 million that is very very possible. Dawkins even hinted at being replaced last year after he saw Brown and Doyle
  25. he wasn’t very good with the weight either
