  1. I honestly as a gambler would take the Jets. Home opener, 9/11 atmosphere. A defense that the Bills mightily struggled with last year just sets up for a let down. Hope I’m wrong but I’d predict like a 23-16 type Jets win
  2. Williams will be a great player and he needs to start and take his lumps this year. I had him as the # 2 MLB in the draft last year and he hasn’t proven me wrong yet. He has shown some high level skills just didn’t think we’d have to throw him to the wolves this early
  3. Its a guy to play the 3rd preseason game. I'm pretty sure its mostly to protect the top 3 guys but they may also not want to expose Jordan Mims who I fully expect to get a practice squad invite. I'd expect this guy and Evans to get all of the carries next week.
  4. I disagree with the first sentence a touch. The first two passes Allen dropped back he got hot feet and bailed out of a fairly decent pocket. I was disappointed in that
  5. I said earlier, and it doesn't really mean much but after watching him for two weeks, he might be our best pass blocking tackle on the roster and 2nd overall behind Dawkins.
  6. No it hasn't, Sternberger can't block and the Bills will keep 3 TE's only because Kincaid wont be used as a blocker indicating that the 3rd TE has to be able to block. He can't. In addition, Shorter has looked today but he is a very awkward pass catcher. Looks like he lacks confidence in his hands and body catches everything but even when he body catches he looks like he tries to absorb it in his body everytime.
  7. Dude I’m gonna legit say this. I think Van DeMark might be this teams 2nd best tackle right now. Q-Berry a veteran gets flat out abused on that strip sack.
  8. Maybe people will start listening to my draft take that he is a bad schematic fit who is incredibly handsy, average in coverage, and doesn’t want to tackle. He’s an overrated football player. The Bills should move on while he has value
  9. You may think that but I didn’t think he was great in college and he played man there predominantly. It’s clear McDermott and staff don’t trust him. It doesn’t matter what the depth looks like if the coaching staff can’t trust him on the field. He wouldn’t be a starter still in that scenario unless his game is severely elevated and I don’t see it happening.
  10. Elam is going to get traded so they might as well do it now while there is still value and teams think they can develop him. Always thought he was going to bust and is a bad schematic fit on top but I still think in man he won’t be a great corner in the NFL
  11. im talking about the lineup that was out there. People were saying it was our primary backups. It wasn’t I was highlighting who was out there
  12. Vandemark looked way better at LT than RT. His pass set isn’t near as good but to make it he has to be more versatile so I see why they’re working him there. He def got a thumbs up from me I also don’t think you can glean much from the starting offense as they kept it incredibly basic. Kindcaid was actually working the traditional Y spot( I assume to get blocking on tape for him) and Knox was working the F spot in 12 packages. I would suspect that would be the opposite in the regular season.
  13. When the Oline looked bad it wasn’t even the primary backups in. Bills starters got like 10 plays then guys like Q-Berry and Shell, Torrence/Bates didn’t play much at all. The guys getting shellacked were Alec Anderson, Ike Boettger(who had fallen off a cliff) , Gouriage etc.
  14. He hasn’t been good despite the catch. He was responsible for the illegal formation and the play where Mims got a 2yard loss letting the guy cross his face blocking.
  15. Vandemark now at RT and that set didn’t look near as good
  16. Maybe we can get a guy like Case Keenum for a 7th rounder
  17. I would assume they would try him there but I’d say he would be much more comfortable on the left
  18. At the game and Pretty impressed by Ryan Vandemark. He was Raw coming out of UConn but he looks like an NFL Left Tackle and his pass set is very good. Might have a shot to make the team esp with question marks at backup LT
  19. There was a small group on this board who preferred Kincaid. I know you’re talking about the league in general but he got a top 10-15 player at what 25? He did well regardless of WR vs TE vs another position For the record: I wasn’t high on Elam or Torrence for the Bills and am a huge fan of Dorian Williams.
  20. These are exactly the two reasons Klein will not be the starter. I'm amazed how many people on this board are penciling in Klein as the starting MLB. He's an insurance policy in case Dodson, Spector, Williams, Bernard can't handle the job. McDermott also likes having a veteran presence with young position groups which the MLB crew def is and the LB crew in general outside of Milano. Lastly, they would have made a bigger commitment to Klein and wouldn't have released him last year if they thought he was the future at the position. He is there to be a mentor, he will be cut, and he will be placed on the PS for emergency and mentorship
  21. Haha you said Sharty 🤣
  22. For all the Offensive line talk today its understandable this early into padded practices. Usually defenses can install their base packages a lot quicker than the offenses can. This means that most likely the defense is starting to run more exotic looks/blitzes earlier and the Bills offense hasn't gotten that far along. I wouldn't worry too much about this right now.
  23. Bobby Hart was actually not bad as a 6th offensive lineman and Johnson was kept for his STs. What the hell is a zoomer. I actually had to look it up. I’m 38 years old lol. I worked in D1 football for Lance Leipold at Buffalo, a guy who knows talent if you can’t tell. I worked on his recruiting staff. I know an NFL scout for the Jets, Texans, and Bears that I used to work with. I know the Offensive line coach at South Dakota State, who was previously the TE coach there, who raved about Tucker Kraft last year to me which made me a fan of him. Coaches don’t keep undisciplined, uncontrollable 6th rounders.
  24. It’s not an opinion. An NFL coaching staff decided to keep a 6th round rookie LB on their roster all year. One that was competing for a SB. They obviously saw his play as disciplined and developable. If they didn’t he wouldn’t have made the roster. That’s a fact not an opinion
  25. Spector was a 6th round pick. If what you are saying is true about not playing his assignment, lacked discipline in his play etc he wouldn’t have made the team. What you’re saying is not true. McDermott and staff would have said well we have an undisciplined, doesn’t know his assignment or call on defense so goodbye. You can argue oh they kept him because he was a rookie draft pick but this regime has cut many late round guys who weren’t cutting it. They would have cut and stashed him on the PS. The only argument left after that is they didn’t want another team stealing him off the PS which in turn would mean the staff liked Spector enough and his play last year during the preseason to keep him on the active roster to develop him.
