The 3 worst ranking sites I see out there every year are ESPN, CBS, and Drafttek. I don’t agree with very much and you shouldn’t either
-
While I love their reports on guys. A lot of times their projections dont match what’s currently happening in the draft landscape. Could someone draft him in round 4 on pure potential sure that happens. I think more round 5-6 is justifiable but it only takes 1 team
-
Kuntz can’t block worth *****, his hands are not great, and he looks nothing like a 4.55 guy on tape. That would be this guy. You want the best of both worlds hes your guy.
-
See and thats whats great about the scouting opinions. What you feel is a pigeon hole keeping him down, I see as a guy who can play 3 positions for 1 player and has higher value than others because of it. Its not a knock I find this aspect of things fun. I disagree with the late 3rd. Could you talk me into early 3rd round then yes I can go with that.

That’s why so many fans get pissed when X, Y player gets passed up for some unknown or lesser guy. Most scouting reports are outdated even from reputable places. You have to watch with your own eyes and formulate your own opinion. I’ll give you an example. I started watching the safety position. I watch Quan Martin out of Illinois. I see a guy who excels as a Nickel CB, can play the deep half in zones really well who is a realizable tackler despite his size. Has played in the box and the boundary at an average level. Then I look at the combine numbers and see 4.47, 44 inch Vert etc. So I’m like damn good football player, who’s versatile, shown he’s a high level athlete. I’m like let me check the draft prognosticators. All like 4th and 5th round. Instead of questioning myself because of an old scouting report, I laugh because I know watching tape and how the NFL works that Quan Martin is most likely going to go in round 2.

His scouting report comes out as the standard white guy scouting report. Well what he might lack in physical traits he makes up for with his high football IQ, coming from a winning pedigree, and his hand placement and agility. His scouting reports say he’s agile. The eye test and his RAS score say differently. He’s a RT or a Guard. RTs of today don’t have to be mean mauler types with heavy hands. That thinking is from 20-30 years ago. That’s like telling me the best DE is still the RDE. Eye roll worthy

I’ll pass on Antonio Johnson big and slow guys who don’t take the ball away is not a trait system I like. When it comes to Safety and he’s a hybrid. Give me Jartavius Martin from Illinois

So you don't see a need when Poyer and Hyde are essentially on 1 year deals in their 30's and their primary backup almost died on the field. Are you kidding? This team needs at least 1 Safety in the top 4 rounds in my opinion. As a side note, this LB class absolutely sucks. You better get Simpson, Campbell, or Sanders because the rest of the crop are either extremely undersized, great athletes who can't play football, or guys who struggle to tackle. This class of LB's is straight garbage

Isaac Seumalo, G, **Update - Signed by Steelers

I wonder if there is something out there about him either personally or injury related. You haven't heard one peep about the guy and there has to be a reason for that. -
You can get both but there is no # 1 WR in this draft with the exception of the upside of Quinton Johnson. JSN is a good WR, Addison, Flowers are good WR's but they are going to be really good # 2's in the NFL or slot guys. The Tight Ends can be really good difference makers. The problem is to run proper 12 personnel you at least need willing blockers if not above average blockers to have that versatility that you mention. Even the top guys like Kincaid, Musgrave, Kuntz, are pure pass catchers who can't block college guys let alone NFL defenders. Then you have a guy like Darnell Washington who is a great blocker but is a bad route runner who lumbers in and out of his routes. The only two guys that you can pair with Dawson Knox to make a true 12 personnel that you can draft early are Sam LaPorta and Tucker Kraft. I have 100% from the beginning said that Tucker Kraft is the perfect TE for the Buffalo Bills. He fits their character profile, he fits their scheme profile, and he fits the dynamics of a TE who can block and stretch the field vertically and horizontally. He, imo, is Rob Gronkowski lite and with time could become an all Pro type TE. I very rarely set myself this strong on a guy but I really really like him and feel if he's there in round 2 the Bills should take him. I wouldn't even be against dropping out of the first and taking him early to mid 2nd round. Back to the original is Ken Dorsey actually prefers 12 personnel as its very unique in the fact that defenses have to be more accountable for more parts. If you have Diggs on the outside with whoever else you with Davis and you have Dawson Knox and a high production 2nd TE it stresses a defense because its very hard to cover the entire back 7 across the entirety of the field while also accounting for the fact that you have 7 guys on the line of scrimmage and can run it down their throat at any time.

Bills Fans Call Out Cole Beasley for ‘Slander’

That’s the world we live in now. It’s pathetic no one has a backbone -
No but literally every report that comes out about the Bills well beforehand does anyone end up signing? Answer is no. Literally nothing about McGovern Harty, or Kyle Allen(outside of the assumption since him and Josh are friends. We’ve been literally linked to multiple RBs, LBs, TES which are all needs probably driven by agents.

utterly shocked that an internet rumor on the Bills turned out to be false
-
Tyrel Dodson ain’t starting. Bernard or Spector will end up getting that job This is exactly what I’ve done in my live draft on a different site. Traded down to 27 to 30 then 48. Have 5 top 100 picks and the first two went on a RT and TE and I’m targeting WR or Safety with my next pick. Either Tyler Scott or Sydney Brown from Illinois

Seems like a high chunk of change for a guy who's been a disappointment but Idk Josh Oliver went for 7 million a year. Guy can catch for sure but he can't block at all.
-
I wonder if McKenzie has some late round trade value. Cheap contract, a lot of game film, can punt return(tho not great), good gadget player. Wonder if we could snipe a 6th or 7th for him

Anyone just sit back and appreciate it?

He did play but Aikman was awful in the last SB against the Bills. The cowboys won the game because they forced, shocker, the Bills to turn he ball over in the 2nd half. -

Yes and No I suppose. If you look at it from the perspective of the drought then yea you probably appreciate it more. If you look at it from we need to win a Super Bowl then no I don't think you do. Being one of the best 8 teams every year only to lose when it counts is more important to a lot of people. What's the point of going to the dance if your not going to kiss the promo queen at the end of the night. That type of thing. I disagree about the 4th super bowl. The 4th SB looked like that but we absolutely dominated the Cowboys in the first half. The problem was we were only up 13-6. Then Thomas fumbles and you could hear that air come out of the team. -
If it’s being reported, it’s not true lol
-
Yay for excitement for somebody we hope never plays a game.

Some of you guys are insufferable man. The cap hit isn't even big. Some of you are stuck in the 90's when it comes to the cap. When McGovern signed 80% of this board was like wow thats too much because they think guards still make 3-4 million a year when the top guys are signing for over 20 and a lot of the top other guys make between 10 and 15. McGovern is like the 21st highest paid guard right now and by the contract is up he'll probably be around 30. Thats cheap if you think he's a good starting guard in the NFL. The Hardy contract is UP TO 13.5 million dollars. Which means he's not guaranteed to get all 13.5 unless he's playing really well. Its less than a 4 million cap hit. Its basically 9.5 million over 2 years or 4.75 million a year with the opportunity to make more.
