  1. Could be a just in case with Rapp or another Christmas bonus situation like last week
  2. Yea I’m not surprised Morrow got let go. After Milano came back , he becomes kind of redundant as the veteran just in case guy
  3. We are already in LA. I doubt they would cut a guy after bringing them on the trip. Practice squad elevation ls for sure but to activate Grable and Carter two guys have to go off the roster
  4. Doesn’t look like Carter or Grable is going to be activated for tomorrows game because they would have had to make corresponding moves. Makes me think Coleman won’t go either because Virgil would likely be one of the corresponding moves Well see on Rapp today because they will most likely move up a safety if he can’t go.
  5. Taron Johnson, will have the privilege of covering Kupp and/or Nacua in this game and will play a vital part in stopping Kyren Williams in the run game. This is the type of game why you pay Taron Johnson what you do.
  6. Wonder if Kareem Jackson is a call up this week with Rapp dealing with injury. Gotta have that insurance person in case Hamlin or Bishop get hurt in the game.
  7. I just want to toot my horn a little bit here as two years ago when that vaunted TE class was out there and the Bills took Kincaid(rightfully so), and people were boosting LaPorta his rookie season that during the draft process I continously had Tucker Kraft as my # 2 TE in the draft out of South Dakota State. This year Kraft has 39 catches for 521 yards and 7 TD's, while people who love LaPorta around here has 36 catches for 445 yards and 5 TD's this year and Kraft still doesn't get talked about at all as one of the top young TE's in the league. Not only is he a great pass catcher but he is a really good run blocker and deserves a little more credit in circles.
  8. I think fans see fantasy guys and are attributing it to on field success. They have names that excite people like Stafford, Kupp, Nacua, and Kyren Williams. At times they look outstanding and other times they look really disjointed as a unit. Their really the NFC version of the Dolphins
  9. Looks like we’re going to get our 2nd look at Bishop to see how much he’s improved since his first outing. Also wonder since he’s replacing Rapp if you see him doing more of what he did in college vs being in two high
  10. There are a ton of things that can cause it from relatively minor to a death sentence. I’m sure it will leak sooner or later what’s going on
  11. He’s probably not lifting to keep weight on and he’s probably been doing a lot of cardio
  12. Good game that eliminates the Packers from the NFC North essentially
  13. I actually disagree on the Patriots. Maye looks like he’s going to be solid at minimum. Mayo is jettisoning guys that don’t fit. Are they there yet? No of course not but I do think they’ll be the next team to challenge us but that will be another 2 or 3 years from now
  14. My biggest thing is the Lions are going to expend a lot of energy tonight in this game. Divisional game that’s going to be physical and means a lot for both teams. Hard to get up two weeks in a row especially with the Bills, an AFC team coming next week. They do get 10 days though
  15. I don’t get it if it happens. You just got rid of Mack Brown and replace him with another guy who is almost done, on top of that he’s never worked with college age kids, with NIL and scholarships. It might boost recruiting a bit but how long would he actually be there
  16. Most think their going to lose
  17. I like to go to other boards to see what they are saying about the game and the Rams have like 6 boards and all of them are crap. Maybe take your 6 boards and turn it into one good one
  18. Well to the point of Brady he couldn’t move a lick so OCs are drawing up plays for more mobile explosive QBs. Running the QB means more blockers on a play. I’m not throwing a pity party for what he did. It was a dirty play but I do understand how difficult it has become to defend offenses with the rules and even now QBs are starting to take advantage of rules that already severely favor them beyond just Mahomes. Quarterbacks are sliding incredibly late hoping to draw an extra 15 yards. The hit on Lawrence is blatant but there have been other times, including Allen, where he has clearly flopped on contact or a defender goes over the top of a sliding QB and still gets tagged with 15 yards.
  19. I don’t believe they have any intention of replacing Rapp in the starting lineup imo. I suspect ideally Bishop slots for Hamlin and thru draft a safety in the mid rounds while signing a veteran backup who can play in a pinch
  20. I understand what you’re saying but they’re not going to put the onus on the QB. They have created all of this to protect them. They’re not going to all of a sudden say well you slid late and got knocked the ***** out so that your problem. They want star QBs healthy to drive ratings, matchups and most importantly money. Yes I agree with you from a holistic standpoint of the game and where it’s going but what your saying isn’t going to become a thing
  21. I just think it would be cool to have two down downtrodden franchises historically playing for their first SB title against each other. Similar cities etc but I’m not so fascinated to realize that Detroit would be tough to beat and give me Atlanta or TB instead. First step is getting there even to have the chance
  22. History shows they won’t go down this route so I agree with you
  23. I think fake slides or fake going out of bounds needs to be flagged if your going down this route of safety for quarterbacks. It’s literally a no win situation for defenders. We have seen this also with just sacking the quarterback where defenders think a QB had released the ball to avoid a late hit only to find out he still has it, gets let go and completes a pass for a long gain. We used to see QBs in the grasp years ago because they weren’t mobile and whistles would be blown before they got thrown around to now defenders having QBs for a second or two only to see them get out of the grasp to get long yardage. Unfortunately that’s what the NFL wants is supreme safety for quarterbacks while also driving up scoring which gives defenders a worse shot at stopping opposing teams. It’s amazing to me how defenses have adjusted to keep haves from looking like college scores with all the offensive favoritism. Frankly, if I have seen a QB taking advantage of the sideline play, ie Mahomes, I would tell my defense to light him up the first time it happens and we’ll take the 15 and I’ll have a convo with the refs about what we’ve seen on film and will do it again if he doesn’t go out of bounds. He’d also think twice about doing it again if he just got crushed.
