The WR class is incredibly deep. I fully expect the Bills to double dip that position with one early and another in the middle rounds. In that scenario I do not see Xavier Worthy from Texas which is who I would go with.

Should The Strength and Conditioning Coaches Get Fired?
gonzo1105 replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, we had a string of like 3-4 seasons where we had guys minimally injured and we were considered one of the best strength staffs. This is what happens when players get older. Hyde, Poyer, Miller are all older. I love Milano but he is extremely undersized at LB so he is going to get dinged from time to time. -
While I agree with your premise, when a team doesn't believe in a coache(es), their mindset goes into the tank. Just look at the Raiders for instance. They clearly hated Josh McDaniels they weren't playing up to their potential for Josh McDaniels. Antonio Pierce comes in and provides a spark for that team and they are 2-0 with Aiden O'Connell at QB. Watching this team, particularly the offense, they don't trust something. That could be the system, the coach, the HC etc but there is something off. There is zero emotion. Allen throws a pick, goes and sits down by himself and pouts every single game. I think he's been told to chill out and he's trying his best but on the inside he probably wants to explode on someone.

Wow ***** fire someone over this ***** what a ***** joke
-
Maybe play better Allen and you wont have to act flabbergasted when our defense ravaged by injuries can't stop anyone.
-
Is Josh Allen legit throwing games lol.

Guy was open on the comeback in the middle of the field

This team has lost its confidence, I’ve said it for weeks. A coach or coaches aren’t clicking with these guys. Look at the Raiders. Not perfect with Aiden O’Connell but Pierce has breathed life into that team since taking over. Onviously not going to get rid of McDermott but they might have to give Joe Brady or Mike Shula a shot here at OC

Shakir to me has shown enough in very limited reps to get a crack with the 1s but no where to be found yet. He had the dropsies in the preseason bit only really one drop in the reg season

I mean Kincaid is on pace to break the rookie record for receptions in a year. He’s also only 3 catches behind LaPorta who everyone was praising so far and Kincaid missed a game. So yes he’s on a damn high trajectory
-
it’s right in a professional WR who is # 2 on the depth charts hands. People need to stop making excuses for people. Catch the ball. The only weapons this team has is Kincaid and Diggs
-
Yea I’m just putting in that waiver wire claim but I doubt we get him being so far down

Stuck in the mud = Coaching & Lack of Talent
gonzo1105 replied to PepeSilvia's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are definitely not as talented as people perceive us to be. I think that is the biggest thing. We have some really good players but few difference makers(Allen, Diggs, Milano). There are some other guys who can get there but haven't reached that peak yet. Miller used to be a difference maker but obviously the knee isn't 100%. -
Gabe open all day- Dorsey playing Madden

Play # 5 he is def not open. Play # 6 Allen makes the right read to Kincaid who just happens to fumble. The INT is debatable that if he leads it out there the safety doesn't get over the top. So really only 3 of these plays including the curl was he wide ass open. -
The QB makes the coach, i'd be more afraid firing him if we had a bad QB and he was getting us to the playoffs but we have a superstar QB with flaws, and we are severely underachieving. The players aren't believing in something whether its the offense or the message that is being sent by coaches.
-
I honestly think they’re not going to make the playoffs. There aren’t enough difference makers on this team. When fully functional they are a team that the sum of the parts is greater than the individual but they’re beaten and battered. The team is getting old and it shows. They need to rebuild this team to a point with younger faster players who are riskier than settling for players in the draft with higher floors but less star potential

Spencer Brown legit got turnstiled there
-
Stop running and putting us in 2nd and long. Allen is cooking and in a rhythm
-
I agree this team needs young safeties and cornerbacks who can contribute, preferably with some speed behind them. I suspect Dane Jackson will be gone next year and Poyer and Hyde will either be a year older or gone as well and the only guy behind them that is worth any salt is Taylor Rapp and he's a Free Agent. A lot of secondary work for Beane to do next year.

Raiders fired HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler.

It’s not that Carr is a world beater but how bout team chemistry man. Adam’s came there to play with Carr, McDaniels knew that. Instead he gets rid of Carr, pissing Adam’s off for a guy who is a lateral move at best. Adams was getting the ball with Carr and now he is doing squat every week. Adam’s would have understood if it was a 1st or 2nd round pick. He kind of did that with Tebow replacing Cutler but everyone under the sun knew Tebow would struggle to throw the ball in the NFL. I have heard a couple players in interviews talk about how they can’t stand McDaniels. Wasn’t even thinking about the Indy thing until the other poster brought it up -

Just another “offensive genius” who’s career was made off of Tom Brady’s back. I don’t know how anyone looked at his time in Denver where he replaced Jay Cutler with Tim Tebow, dismantled a good team and said yeah I want to try that guy again. His first order of business was doing the exact same thing in Las Vegas replacing Carr with Jimmy. The 2nd that happened I would have said this guy learned nothing from his first stint. Plus a lot of players think he’s an ass too probably doesn’t help -
Grab a starter at DB who will most likely replace Tre White long term, maintain 10 draft picks in next years draft. They clearly don’t want Elam on the field this year and the other options were Josh Norman and Jamarcus Ingram. Tre White gets released, Benford and Douglas with Elam, draft a couple of DBs high in the draft(CB/S) and we look not too bad in the future at DB

He was a journeyman for quite a while but he seems to have found out how to play once he got to Green Bay. He unlocked or figured out something. Lets hope that continues in Buffalo.
-
I think your way off on the player and the compensation. He struggled early in his career but the last two years Douglas has been really good since getting to GB. He has also started a ton with them even though he was a backup other places.
-
Douglas has been super underrated for the last couple of years. He gets overshadowed by Jaire Alexander but Douglas has been really good in his own right. This is a very good get for the Bills. Surprised the Packers gave up on him. I'm suspecting a 3rd.
