Week 14, Bills v. Chefs - Predict the Score
gonzo1105 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
We beat the Chiefs in the regular season just can't in the playoffs. Buffalo 23 KC 20 -
First of all the big difference is OTC has the Bills projected at 29 million over and Spotrac has them 42 million over. Thats a wide gap, so clearly one of the websites is way off in their projections. I prefer OTC because I don't actually have to do the math it done for me. If OTC is correct, the Bills will have no problem getting under the salary cap before next year with 4 or 5 moves of guys that they could easily get rid of because their injured/old or both.
-
Literally went to OTC....went to the 2024 and hit restructure and it took us down to -6 million. I'll trust them since you know thats what they do over you.
-
Its not that bleak actually. Restructuring Allen will almost get us back to even on the cap. Release Poyer, Hines, Harty, Neal and Tre White post June 1st and we are at almost 22 million under the cap. None of these releases are even remotely far fetched.

My retort to this was that 3 weeks ago Ken Dorsey was here and people like yourself we're making the same excuses for him. Well Dorsey isn't the one dropping passes, and Dorsey isn't the one turning the ball over, or allowing sacks. Two weeks later after being fired, the Bills have put up 32 and 34 points on two of the best defenses in the NFL. You could argue it was Dorsey's scheme and you could be right. It also could be that the coaches messages have gotten stale. That the team no longer believes in him which is leading to mental lapses when things don't go according to plan. I honestly think we have reached our mountain top with him and need another guy to take us over the top.
-
They lost, I dont want the morale boosters or the excuses. They lose dumb games every year, they do stupid stuff every year. Should be 9-3 at worst but their 6-6 because they can't get out of their own way including the coaches.
-
No excuses

I’m a big draft guy, if we’re not making the playoffs I’d prefer us to be as close to the top 15 as possible because there are a ton of great WR options and man to go with Diggs and Kincaid and a competent offensive mind will make the Bills very tough to beat
-
I know Ben Johnson is the hot name but I like Bobby Slowik the OC from the Texans. The things he’s doing with that offense in year 1 is remarkable. Under the Shanahan tree for offense. If we can’t get Johnson, Slowik and Monken are at the top of the list
-
No it wasn’t a fumble. It was close but it was an incomplete pass
-
I wouldn't fire him for the 20 seconds, though I agree with you but there are now two examples, where the QB of the Buffalo Bills played a nearly flawless football game. Over 400 yards and 4 TD's today and ended up losing because the defense couldn't get a stop. This is not just a two time thing, this has happened multiple times over his tenure in the 7 years he has been the Head Coach. Its his specialty, the defensive side of the ball. You expect a Defensive Specialist to be able to get a stop on top teams when your QB has literally played an almost perfect game. I just can't with this guy anymore. He did his job. He took the Bills to heights they haven't been for the last 20 years before he came along but he isn't going to take this team to the Super Bowl. We will always fall short with him. He is not aggressive enough both allowing his offense to spread it out and go and his defense is well lets play soft until they get in range and hope for a mistake. What I love about the Chiefs is they are aggressive on both sides and it has bitten them in the past but they are going to go down swinging all the time. Spags in that situation is literally bringing the house on defense over and over and over again and he's trying to get you to make a dumb decision or get a sack and fumble or a holding penalty to put you at a disadvantage. Reid goes for it when the opportunity presents.

Just awful. I'm sorry but McDermott has got to go. Allen played lights out....Lights out and we lose another game like this. Play any type of defense. -
