  1. They got into a 50 front covering up the Bills offensive line and creeping the Safety down in the box. They essentially committed 8 men in the box on early downs then went soft shell in passing situations. Brady should have gone more playaction in the 2nd half in my opinion on 1st down
  2. Im referring to when the game was tied , and the Dolphins forced us into our own 3rd straight 3 and out before roughing our kicker. They had all the momentum in the game not when Bernard made the INT
  3. On the point of # 2 yes the Dolphins did adjust. They basically on early downs went into a 5 man front with 2 LBs in the box and a safety crept down on early downs. They bottled up Cook inside that’s why you saw the Bills running more toss late in the game. With Cook bottled up and 2nd and 3rd and long they sat in a 2 shell cover 2 look and made Allen take dump downs and they did a good job for the most part getting to the ball carrier quickly to minimize YAC. In addition I don’t think Dawkins and Brown were particularly great at times in pass pro last night
  4. Well first there is never a such thing as nice win….but. Winning is winning no matter how you do it. If the Bills won this game 3-0 tonight there would be 12 threads about how the offense isn’t championship caliber. I mean there is one already about our passing offense struggling when we have put up 41, 30, and 31 and let’s be frank the 30 against the Jets could have been much more. Do the Bills have defensive flaws? Yes I don’t think anyone is going to deny that. One of the things I appreciated about the difference between NFL and College football 20-30 years ago was the NFL had a semblance of defense while college games were 50-24. Unfortunately the NFL has made it so easy for offenses to score in 2025. The ball used to get placed at the 20 and now it’s coming out to the 35. Combine that with all of the rule changes where basically if you touch a QB in the wrong spot or your even remotely tugging a jersey by a Defensive back it’s a 15 yard penalty or a spot foul and you can see why defenses are struggling to stop teams from scoring. Take into the fact that more and more youth players are playing offense and participating in year round 7 on 7 and a lot of the best athletes now also play offense while defense gets the scrapes. Lastly, the boom of the kicker has made scoring much easier. 30 years ago 50 yard FGs at best was 50/50 and now kickers are hitting FG 55+ like it’s nothing so a team essentially just needs to get 25 yards to put up 3 points. We gave up 21 points to a good offensive football team. We were missing our top DT, top LB, first round pick CB, Michael Hoecht, and Larry Ogunjobi.
  5. Yup, I noticed it as well. Weaver went back in the Time Machine and used a lot of the cover 2 2 shell concepts teams used on us to force us to take dump downs like 4 years ago. It was the fakes Beasley would have like 11 catches for 75 yards. It’s why you didn’t see a lot of explosive plays in this game
  6. I’m the opposite, if I’m a returner, I’ve seen way too many take it out of the endzone. I’d be like knee it everytime I’ll take that at the 35 everytime
  7. I honestly would stick with Prater until he gives you a reason not to. The Bills also could stick Prater back on the Practice squad but that does open him up to being signed. We now have a veteran spot available again due to Dan Feeney going to the Buccaneers.
  8. They did they pulled out tape of what teams used to do to us when we had a more explosive offense and those were the games that Beasley would have 11 catches for 75 yards
  9. Jesus the TNF desk pointing at the sign and saying Fitz show them your titz and then them verbally saying it while a female is on the panel and another is on the sideline reporting .
  10. Cook Kincaid Bernard Shaq Thompson Hawes
  11. Two years in a row the Dolphins had the Bills on the ropes at home and a dumb Dolphins penalty allowed the Bills to keep a drive going that ended up being the difference. Bills started out strong on offense and then the Dolphins went back and pulled out the Colts WC tape and made Allen be patient throwing underneath. I’ll chalk it up to it being a Thursday game and we’re 3-0
  12. Need to start opening up playbook on first down , they are sitting on 5 man fronts with 2 LBs in the box and creeping a safety. Selling out to stop Cook on early downs
  13. Dolphins have been loading the box the last couple drives, time to start spreading it out and dissecting in the short pass game
  14. Benford will be okay, I was worried it was non contact but Rapp leg whipped him . Probably hurts like a B word right now but he’ll be alright unless I’m way off base and missing something
  15. Tre White just playing off coverage on the goaline not even moving. Must have gotten completely fooled
  16. Spencer Brown too slow out of his stance but didn’t look like anyone was open on the back end either , and I hope that was blocked cause yikes
  17. I do not, I was a young kid when Jackson and Summerall were at their peaks
  18. Al is an old school announcer he grew up in that era. Listen to Keith Jackson and Pat Summerall and you’ll get the same type of commentary excitement.
  19. Just killing them with the Tight Ends tonight , Hawes is a big part of this offense it’s kind of crazy. I was high on him pre draft but I never expected him to be this involved in all aspects of the team.
  20. Just giving him some love and he drops it Stand corrected good play by the Dolphins DB
  21. Dolphins have no shot at stopping the Bills offense unless they screw up themselves
  22. Kincaid starting to come into his own . A couple good blocks to spring Cook and a couple of nice catches in the drive. It was an odd catch because Kincaid sat as he knew the CB was peeling off the WR while Allen was late to notice it and tried to lead him
  23. Sure it is and that’s great for Shakir but I would venture the number of WRs drafted in the late rounds to get massive 2nd contracts are small. Hodgins has already passed the typical NFL career average in general and that’s for a 6th round pick.
  24. Did he get away, no I wouldn't say that but for a 6th round pick, he's in the 5th or 6th year of his career. He's hanging on but he's sticking around in the league. Good for him, hopefully he can continue to make a living off of it for a couple more years.
