  1. I work @ a bar in close proximity to the stadium. We had a few visitors today, including troy vincent and gene upshaw. Dont know what they were there for, but just thought i'd put it out there.
  2. All joking aside. Just to get the facts straight, Rob Lee is white.
  3. http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?...hat_Need_to_Die I didnt think billy buffalo was that bad of a mascot. Apparently people disagree. (sorry if a repost)
  4. I started a thread that basically said the same thing a few weeks ago. Davis could be a versatile player with the likes of which we've never seen. Not saying that we should draft him, but he is a very intriguing prospect. Would cause coverage, and gameplanning problems all over the field. No DB could cover someone his size, no linebacker could cover someone with his speed and agility. Not to mention his strength.
  5. I'm sure you would have found it hard to believe that someone that NEVER played college football had more receptions this season than marvin harrison and eric moulds. (Antonio Gates) Maybe someone like davis cant be a #1 WR in this league, but they can be a #1 target.
  6. Delusional? What is so delusional about vernon davis playing WR in the NFL? Players are getting bigger and stronger at their respective position every year. If you had told players 30 years ago that someone the size of daunte culpepper would be playing QB in the nfl they would've been shocked. Davis has the speed and agility of a #1 posession receiver. Just because he is bigger than any other receiver doesnt mean he cant break the mold. How many players come into the NFL and change positions. Just something to think about.
  7. It is possible that Eric Moulds will be out of buffalo in the near future. Vernon Davis entered the combine as a TE. Is it possible that the Bills or any other team could use davis as WR that can line up in the TE position and vice versa? He has the size and strenght of a tight end with the speed and versatility of a wide receiver. The knocks on lee evans are that as a # 1 receiver he doesnt posess the size or strenght to break double teams or go over the middle, this is something that should give someone like davis no trouble. He could also line up as a TE in goal line situations and be used as a blocker or receiver. (Davis lined up at fullback and wide receiver in college) David boston played the receiver position well and was listed at 228. If i can remember there were accounts that listed Boston as high as 250. I know there are other pressing needs that our team must address, however if moulds is gone receiver will be one of them. I like everett's upside, but he hasnt proven anything yet, and he could still be used with davis around. Our TE productivity has been non-existant. Just my 2 cents. Flame away.
  8. Dont be surprised if Ruben is a bill sometime in the future. In my opinion he would be an upgrade over the two current guards, and he started on an o-line that was much better than ours. He's a "character guy" that wants to be in buffalo, and i believe he will make an attempt to come back to buffalo. He will ask for an extension with the bears or he will ask to be let go. ( a little birdie told me this)
  9. Ruben certainly does still reside in buffalo, and he loves the area. He was enjoying a few birthday millers at a local watering hole tonight.
  10. Nate Clements stopped in at the bar where I work with a lady friend. The two did 5 shots of patron and left within about ten minutes. Must've been in a hurry.
  11. My brother attended thurman thomas' tent party after the game. He said rosenhaus showed up with willis for a while, and his cellphone never left his ear.
  12. Go to the big tree for some wings. Try the golden bbq, or hot bbq. Cant be beat in my opinion.
  13. Who is hammered a lot?? And the grass was cut this week... the lawn mower was broken for a while.
  14. The big tree inn is definitely the place to go on gameday weekend. IMHO the best wings around, and a good bills ambiance. Go there on a sunday evening after the game, and you'll most likely see a bunch of the bills havin a few beers/wings. I live directly next door, and bartend there a few nites/week. You'd better hustle after the game though, because it gets packed quick.
  15. Another newbie. I've looked at the board for a few months now but never signed up. Huge bills fan, live within walking distance of the stadium, and have been going to the games since i can remember. Love reading the site, and hearing everyone's 2 cents about the team.
  16. my brother hangs out with a few of the bills, and was told by some of the players that everett probably will not see the field this year
  17. This may just be a rumor, but i've heard that Ralph and the county do not allow sunday/monday night games due to problems with rowdy (drunk) fans. My 2 cents.
