I lived in Ottawa for a long time, and unfortunately don't know of anywhere Bills games are shown. Ottawa used to get the Rochester CBS and FOX feeds, but about five years ago they switched to Detroit. Ridiculous, I know. I'd say the only solution is to find a friend with ExpressVu. Also, Wacka, I presume you're referring to "I'm in Ottawa for university." Canadians use definite articles just like anyone else. It's just that in this case, "university" refers in general to what you would call "college." If you were in Buffalo to start undergraduate studies, you wouldn't say, "I'm in Buffalo for the college," would you?

If there is a team in pro sports that knows how to win, it is definitely, conclusively, irrefutably NOT the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Belieeeeeeeeve me.

You folks have it all wrong. Crayonz has the right logic; he just came to the wrong conclusion. You see, given the fact that the total in-conference record of all the teams in each conference was exactly .500, and this is the best criterion by which to compare the quality of the two conferences (NOT, of course, the games actually played between teams in the two conferences), the AFC and NFC were exactly as good as each other last year. If you do the number crunching (and believe me, I did, and it took a long long time), it turns out that the two conferences were IDENTICALLY good for every single year in the history of the NFL. Also, by consulting my crystal ball and the crazy cat-lady who lives down the street, I have determined that for every single year in the future, the two conferences will be EXACTLY as good as each other. As we all know, the NFL started off millions (if not billions) of years ago as a single large league, played thousands of feet under the Earth's surface. One fateful day, the Gods of football, from their palace on Mount Olympus, cast a lightning bolt that shattered the league into two conferences. The Gods decided that exactly half of the talent would be allocated to each conference. From that point on, the conferences have been exactly as good as each other. See? What's all this arguing about? The facts are there, plain and simple.

ACTUALLY, many non-flu viruses are mistaken as influenza viruses. If you're infected with influenza, an orthomyxovirus, you are absolutely 100% guaranteed to be totally bed-ridden for at least one day. Full-out vomiting and diarrhea for one day at the minimum. What people often call "the flu" is usually actually a coronavirus or rhinovirus, which cause all sorts of respiratory problems (sneezing, coughing, congestion), and nausea and whatnot. They might make you feel like crap, but they won't incapacitate you like influenza will.

Hey guys! I did a little primary research and found some interesting stats on Peyton Manning. Thought you might like to know. Just a little interesting pattern for fans of Peyton Manning such as myself. Over the past couple of years, Peyton Mannings first 3-5 games have told what he was going to do for the year, unlike other QB's who go up and down as the season rolls along. For example: In 2003, in Peyton Mannings first 4 games he had 914 yards, 9 TD's and 3 INT's. This works out to 3,656 yards, 36 TD's and 12 INT's ... Peyton ended up having 4,267 yards, 29 TD's and 10 INT's. Some what close right? In 2004, in Peyton Mannings first 3 games he had 9 TD's and 1 INT. This works out to 4.816 yards, 48 TD's and 6 INT's ... Peyton ended up having 4,557 yards, 49 TD's and 10 INT's. Pretty darn close huh? In 2005, in Peyton Mannings first 5 games he had 6 TD's and 2 INT's. This works out to 3,593 yards 24 TD's and 12.8 INT's ... Peyton ended up having 3,747 yards, 28 TD's and 10 INT's. Once again. Pretty darn close. Now so far in 2006, he is on pace for 5,408 yards, 32 TD's, and 8 INT. Not really important or anything, just thought you guys would think it was interesting. Pretty cool, huh?
