  1. yeah, i've also noticed that long islanders are primarily jets/mets/islanders(obviously) fans as i went to school with a lot of people from LI. yet another reason to hate the jets! although, as i'm from binghamton, the two big teams are the giants and the bills and the giants fans are much more unbearable than jets fans even with the divisional rivalry.
  2. I would agree with all your picks here. Problem is, I don't trust the bills to win all the games that they should win against the easy teams. However, you can usually count on the bills to have at least one game where they come out and play really well for 60 minutes against a good team for an upset. My pick for that one would definitely be against the jags. I think we have a very good shot against the vikings as well, I really like our D against their offense.
  3. Lindell's kickoffs haven't actually been that bad this season. In NE he made it well into the endzone on 3 separate kicks. Last week his kick offs were shorter, but that was probably to look out for W. Walker. I really hope steve in MD is incorrect about Moorman though. I mean, I don't know what his cap number is and I realize he's only a punter, but he's one of the truest Bills we have.
  4. did anyone else see the segment on this week in footbal about the bills jets matchup? one of their jacka$$es kept calling JP "lose-man" and saying if the jets wanted to win they should stack 9 in the box and make JP win the game for us. i would LOVE it if the jets took this idiots advice. while i still think JP has a long way to go, he looks 100% smarter this year and we've all seen he can throw the deep ball, he just hasn't had much of a chance to pull that trigger this year, and the one time he did the pass was right on the money, except Lee was tackled from behind right before he got to the ball. i really hope this is the week JP steps up the offensive play and puts some points up on the board.
  5. yeah he definitely hasn't had the best two games. no excuses either. nice weather both days and everything. i'm sure he'll do better in the upcoming games.
  6. yo guys- does anyone know if there is an internet radio broadcast of the game? the only thing i've been able to see of the preseason so far is espn highlights. thanks
  7. totally agree Joe. we might not have a winning record or make a playoff run (hopefully we will), but it's going to be fun just to watch JP's game progress. not only that, but also to watch how him, willis and lee come together this season as a unit. i got all 3 guys autographs on my old hat at training camp last year, and i'd love to see those three guys turn into the next kelly, thomas and reed. really lookin forward to it
  8. i heard during a game cast on cbs that it was 495 pounds
  9. this is hilarious the best part is obviously the indiana pacers highlights "reggie miller is looking good" "he get's the rebound, passes it to the man(??) and boom goes the dynamite" bad, but funny attempt to save his sportscast poor guy
  10. did you see this on espn or something on basic cable, or on nfl network? not too many channels on campus.
