  1. i can tell you, lott was a very smart player, a better leader, and a bigger beast on the field.
  2. the flower shop was funny as hell too. was it the flower shop ot the pit where snuka got coconutted by piper? i cant remember which.
  3. better than ronnie lott? no way. until troy cuts a finger off to stay on the field, he cant even be close to the best.
  4. are you serious? the bills have not been able to run due to p!ss poor blocking and the line being stacked. well if the other team wants to play up on the line, make them pay for it. madden has nothing to do with it. it's called finding a way to use your players, or at least get them involved to throw off the opposing d
  5. i too was there for honky's title win. it was 1987. killer kahn spit the green mist into hogan's face on the snake pit there too.
  6. announcers- got to be gorilla and heenan wrestlers- mr perfect, shawn michaels(early singles time w/ sherri), macho man(while intercontinental champ mid or late 80's), the origional 4 horsemen manager- has to be heenan. the neckbrace for 5 years was great.
  7. what gets me is why the bills are not going with jackson and lynch in the backfield with 2 tight ends in to block. te could then run play action with either of the backs and have max protection with the line and tight ends. you then hit the back that was not the play action back in the flat and let him take off. both lynch and jackson have shown to be very good at running after the catch.
  8. rather than dwelling on marshall's attempted "celebration", i think stokley should be getting the attention for being heads up and keeping his team from getting a potential 15yrd penalty on a kick off when the game is up for grabs. if only every player had his head straight and played team first, and be aware of that concept, like stokely, i think the competition in the nfl would be even better
  9. a great man by the name of ric flair coined the phrase "to be the man, whooo, you got to beat the man" i think that applies to most people's thinking when it comes to the pats*
  10. way to think positive
  11. from wiki: "Hall was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons with 8th overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft. He finished his first season with 35 tackles and two interceptions. One of Hall's finest moments came when he was assigned to one of the NFL's premier wide receivers, Terrell Owens of the Philadelphia Eagles, on Monday Night Football. Although Owens gained 112 receiving yards, Hall was able to stop Owens on many of the Eagles' third down attempts, and his tight coverage of Owens on the last Eagle possession of the game helped Atlanta clinch a 14-10 victory on September 12, 2005. Hall allowed 3 catches on 9 pass attempts towards Owens when playing man-to-man." that is shutting someone down when it counts.
  12. when did this game take place? the last time to and hall played against each other was in 06 i believe and to was held to 5 catches for 69 yards
  13. i dont want him on the bills either after the problems with the management and coach in atlanta, but attitude aside the guy is good. furthermore, there may be only 1 or 2 db's that could have sustained their high level of play without a pass rush..... 1 is deion sanders i'm hard pressed to think of another
  14. AVP...... after wilfork lays dirty hits on (in order) edwards, losman, hamdon, and fred jackson(serving as a 4th string emergency backup), AVP will run out of the tunnel with 13:00 min left in the FIRST QUARTER, he will lead the bills to victory with 5 td passes!
  15. hall is a great db. the problem is he seemed to get moss syndrome while in oakland and decided to only play when he wanted to(and it does not look like it was much). how can anyone can say the guy is overrated with 17 picks in the last bunch of years. did the opposing qb gift wrap them all the time? oakland seems to be the place to go and disappear since the year they signed moss. a change of teams and d hall will be back to form. take it to the bank.
  16. all cheaters despised a star quarterback disposed karma is a b!tch
  17. why wait? you dont have to be a wanna-b to riot. i'm for obama, but at this point, i just hope that the winner rights the ship, and gives me a reason to go lootin'
  18. mort is 100% right all the garbage that td signed has moved on to other teams around the league, watering down said teams, making the bills team built mostly by marv a better team with more quality players, tied for first in the division and finally being taken seriously. i agree with mort 100% if the bills didnt have a plethera(sp?) of lousy players signed under td to spread around the league, where would we be?
  19. john goodman did fred pretty good, but rick moranus and fat rosie killed it for me
  20. as much as i dispise the pats*, i would have like brady to miss the first 5 games this year and be healthy for the bills game so there is no excuse when we win the division
  21. maybe not the bong, put a small pipe?
  22. nice, but everyone knows the bcs system is flawed.....

  24. i firmly believe that alcohol is the true gateway drug. further more, how many people have ever gotten smoked out and gotten pregnant or caught an std? how many people have gotten pregnant or an std while while being drunk? edit: darn dean you beat me to it. you are really adament about this stuff.
  25. look for the fish to run the flying v offense against buffalo. for those who dont know what that is, rent a copy of the mighty ducks. miami's gimmic offense was cool the first time they ran it, but i'm thinking buffalo will be able to contain it. furthermore, if they insist on lining ol' noodle arm up as a wr, someone needs to lay a hard block on him. one that makes him say to the coaches "i'm not suited for real football, put me back in the pocket where i can't be touched w/o a penalty"
