    I've been complaining for like 10 yrs that the Yankees need pitching and not more big bats. Their best years in the 90s to early 2000s were in part due to a awesome rotation.

    I think the amount of top qb picks getting outplayed by later picks is directly tied to teams drafting them out of need instead of taking the best player available. Some top drafted qb's end up being reaches due to poor incumbent play, or to appease a fan base. I think that plays a part in why they fail

    Yep. The Bills made a huge mistake drafting Allen. Someone needs to take the blame and fall on the sword for drafting a qb that only has a 9-3 record this year, the most rushing td's this season by a qb, appears to be a great leader and teammate, is progressing every game/learning from the bad games, and plays to win. Huge blunder McDermott......
