Bruce Smith. Dominat at his position. Played in a 3-4 and still beat double and triple teams. Yet, Reggie White was always talked about as the premier DE that played in 4-3 defenses which created easier mismatches for him. You can compare Bruce's career to Allen's as they both were not in ideal situations to excel, but their individual talents and drive made them great. Like Bruce, Allen is doing more with less, but others are talked about as being better but their systems and surrounding talent are never brought into the conversation. Apples to oranges when comparing anyone to those two
