  1. Blue on Black Tears on a river push on a shove it don't mean much joker on a jack match on a fire cold on ice a dead man's touch
  2. JA has been anointed? I think there are many more optimistic and hopeful. Anointed? I think that's just your -ummm - JA disenchantment shining through ad nauseam.
  3. Agree. Proof positive? JA helps to create this environment. It appears JR hasn't.
  4. So JRs agent needs to find him team with a good D, stability at the HC, OC positions, enough talented weapons and a top notch running game. Did I miss anything? It's not like house shopping. Tampa might just be his best chance. I actually think JA would have shown any organization enough to stick with him. That is, heart, desire, leadership, likability, fire. I'm sensing JR lacks in all the above.
  5. Tough circumstances for sure. He can deal with it best he can. He does have control of how he conducts himself not only as a player on the field but off it as well. What's abundantly clear, he has done nothing to prove to any HC, OC or otherwise to prove he's the answer to their QB quandary. Now, as I've stated previously, he still has time to prove otherwise. For the sake of his career, he's do well to start showing something - anything - soon.
  6. Actually, it makes plenty of sense. Defense has nothing - nothing - to do with the development of a QB.
  7. The team defense has nothing to do with determining whether the QB has what it takes.
  8. Agree - the difference between the 2 regarding competitive fire are world's apart.
  9. Precisely. Apparently he's not worth it. Doesn't speak very highly of JR now, does it? The good ones rise above. I do agree that JA is in a better place. We'll find out this year if he's "that guy". I very optimistic. However, if for some reason he's not our guy, would I turn to JR? Not on your life.
  10. Peter King has turned into blowhard. There was a time he was good. I'd say this if he had picked the Bills. I'll catch him occasionally when he's on with maddog. He rambles on and on and on......and very predictable.
  11. If either of these organizations thought he was worthy of keeping him, they would have. Miami couldn't even get a late rounder. The arrow is pointing up for both of Rosen's former employers as well since he left. Yes, circumstances changed. But two teams determined he was not the QB to lead them. They all can make excuses. You're given an opportunity. Make the best of it - or not. Tampa seems like a good spot for him. Sit behind TB for a year or two, learn, then step into a QB friendly, talented roster. Time will tell. I'm skeptical how relevant he'll be 2-3 years from now. How can you not be?
  12. The excuses have to stop. It's not like he's the only one to have been placed in less than favorable circumstances. It speaks more about him than the circumstance. These organizations that have had the "pleasure" of his "services" knew what the circumstances were. It was determined in each instance that moving forward, this guy was not the answer.
  13. Agree - I suspect they open things up. They have the tools. Decide to use them. 🍺
  14. Heres a little help with the o/u as I see it. 31 + 10 = 41 take the over 😉
