  1. Ahhhhhhh.....yes.....some good 'ol homegrown.....now you're talkin' bro!!
  2. It always comes back to his durability, doesn't it? He has been remarkably durable. In a strange twist of fate, it was his LACK of durability (the Mo Lewis hit) that propelled the Pats to an amazing run. His lack of durability, because of that one moment changed one franchise forever, while it gave false hope to another. Now, I understand the hit he took was quite disturbing, but the only asset he has now is his durability. I believe we have/will brush off this set back by the DB era. DB will, however, be the posterchild of these last few miserable years. We all believed in him to some degree and he failed. He failed totally and miserably. Be fair now. We don't forget or stop reliving the the Kelly/Thomas/Reed/Smith era, why ignore the DB era. It may not be all on DBs shoulders, but make no mistake, he was at the heart of our disenchantment. I'm moving on, but not forgetting. That is the essence of sport. We live and die (in our sports world) with the players that wear OUR uniforms. We praise the good and bemoan bad. As it should be. Peace.
  3. I take a look at Mannings schedule and it SCREAMS easy. Though I don't like going QB here, he almost has to be the pick. This forces my hans in rounds 2 and 3 to go RB. Is it unreasonable to think that guys like Steven Jackson @ 2 and LaMont Jordan @ 3? That looks pretty good actually.
  4. Alright. I won't mock his wonderful durability. I will, however, mock his miserable play and grossly pathetic quotes that he continually spews. I'll be the first to say he's a nice guy, but as an NFL QB, he sucks. Say what you want about our porous line while he was here, but he didn't do ANYTHING to help the cause. I'm so glad he's gone. It's funny how things come full circle. Parcells brought DB into this league and DB will return the favor by taking Parcells out of this league. Can you say Custer's last stand?
  5. Shouldn't Alexander be on this list? I'm in a 10 team league that drafts next Monday night. I know LT is going 1st overall and for me at #2, I was thinking Alexander or Manning. I lean towards Alexander mainly because i don't like drafting a QB that early. Any thoughts on picking 2nd? I enjoy looking at others rosters and posting them here for others to rate. I will post mine Tuesday morning for others to pick apart.
  6. OR.....possibly worse!!
  7. Eaaaaaaasy tiger. We all know how good he is. The rings say it all. No denying it. Just like there's no denying his preference to take the snap from under center as opposed to the shotgun.
  8. Agreed. I believe his numbers ought to be better as well. He should not be mentioned with the elite. He is a good WR that plays inconsistently at times. It is not a knock, I see the speed/strength and expect more at times.
  9. Yes. Rumor has it the transplantation of Steven Tylers' mouth to Carlys' face went quite well. Mother and mouth are resting comfortably.
  10. Scrappy little fellow. I like him. Very Spudd Webby.
  11. ........."DAMMIT JIM! I'm a football fan, not a Dr.!!!!"..........
  12. After examining this trade, the "gf" was administered by his trade partner. Riddler, me thinks a simple "hj" would suit you fine.
  13. I think a new paint job is in order, IMO. They might stucco the boards as well. Just for checking purposes.
  14. Sad, indeed. However, what's important here is your gift of clairvoyance. Use it in a more positive manner next time, eh? R.I.P. LES HABITANTS!!
  15. ....."and Tadona pitches......two balls....high and inside"
  16. Right on! But it's not just the mensas.....it's the womensas too!
  17. I wish I had the answer for you, friend. Get well soon!
  18. RIP Scotty ....think the family knows to shop PriceLine for a headstone?
  19. Purely coincidence. Surely you've heard the comparison before?
  20. No doubt. To elaborate, I meant that he will stay because he is rooted here. In other words, he won't leave for more money. Whatever it takes, he stays. He'll want to. IMO.
  21. If TD doesn't strike a deal prior to NC becoming a FA, he is outta here. If NC hits the market he'll make his best play for the biggest contract. Elsewhere, is my guess.
  22. He takes substantial cut to stay.
  23. That's a fine boy you have there, theesir. How much to have Mark McGuire stand in on the photo shoot?
  24. Me and my clan saw it over the weekend. Kids and wife enjoyed it very much. Depp is a prettier version of Michael Jackson and the oompa loompas were miniature Joe Peschi's.
