  1. Sorry, space. My pup is 7 months and just love him to pieces. 17 years!?!?! I can't imagine the loss you feel. I'm really sorry.
  2. Yea.........well.....I, for one, enjoy a good swiss.
  3. Imagine that. CJ and Lee Evans. NICE!
  4. I see. Maybe a Revis/Houston spells McGee. We entrusted the safety positions to two rookies, why not at corner. This coaching staff has had little issue, if any, awarding jobs to the youngsters. Maybe an already young secondary gets younger, with McGee/Greer/ Thomas pulling up the rear. All capable guys.
  5. If, as you say, Youboty is our guy, why do we spend an additional pick to move up into the 1st round to obtain one? I'm assuming you have penciled in Youboty/Mcgee at the corners and Whitner/Simpson at safety, right? Greer and Thomas in the mix at nickel/depth.
  6. Way to go out on a limb with these 1st rounders. SB year aside, where the D was alltime sick and didn't need the O, show me a bigtime offense from any of "Mr. Wonderfuls" teams. OH WAIT!! Here comes WILLIS to save the day. Please....... An aging D, QB, OL and an underwhelming RB. Kudos Ozzie. I've said this before, the Bills RB whomever it may be will have a better YPC than Willis.
  7. Oh........hi LSI........what might happen?
  8. Just trying to get into their mindset is all, Kelly. Don't play him and remove all doubt. I've posted before, this league is full of arrogant GM types who think they can take what "you've" failed at and make him a star. Baltimore is the latest example of this. Is that so outlandish?
  9. What if they thought Willis WASN'T the answer midway thru the season but felt they had to showcase him nonetheless? Bench him and lose all leverage, right? Treat him like the almighty HE thinks he was, and perhaps most others.
  10. Probably just speculation due to the WM trade? I wonder what's in store for RW once he comes back. What does he have to offer?
  11. If youtube didn't exist, I'd drop and take a LB.....sheesh, this AP is GOOD!
  12. No........'moe.
  13. What? Minnesota making our pick for us?
  14. DJ had to play WM if for no other reason to see if in fact this was all he had to offer. To see if he could create for himself. He couldn't justify playing Atrain over Willis. He can now. That's not to say Atrain is the sole answer, but a part of the equation.
  15. Though I don't see Adams falling to 12, what if Anderson does and to a lesser degree, Landry? We don't have a need at safety but someone would want to jump up for him I'd think. Would Anderson be a no-brainer considering other needs?
  16. Fair to say, the draft can't get here soon enough so we can all put the speculation aside and see what we find under the tree?
  17. No doubt you're right 2003. AP CLEARLY has a better shot of falling to 12 than JT does. Having said that, by the grace of our lord an savior, should JT be there at 12, yea, jump on him!
  18. I understand where you're coming from DrDank, I'm merely trying to get into their minds. I don't necassarily agree with the path I laid out either. Maybe I'm totally off base, but there seems to be a pattern when they decide to plug a hole. Perhaps the greater holes are at RB and CB, and I wouldn't argue that, but is this what THEY think?
  19. Definately. WAY worse than those Tampa originals.
  20. Tipster, regarding the RB situation, I'm beginning to think the same thing. Same goes for the CB situation. What if, in fact, our braintrust is "comfortable" with both positions? Look at last years drafting strategy and this years FA strategy. They seem to acquire by position in bunches. We draft 2 safeties and a corner in 3 of the first 4 rounds of last years draft. We draft 2 DT with a 1st and 5th while acquiring Tripplett. Kind of done in bunches, no? This years FA they identify a need, OL, and promptly sign 3 right off the bat on the first day. Could THIS be their strategy this year? Do we swap 1sts with GB? Do we select Willis @ 16 then move back into the 1st and take Poszluzny? This doesnt mean we ignore the RB or CB positions, just that we select them later in the draft. My feeling is we still can get our quality RB in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. Bottom line, ML and DJ may not feel as empty as some here do at certain positions.
  21. I wasn't clear on my post. I meant they wouldn't trade for Rodgers as THEIR backup, meaning they would acquire him as their starter. I wasn't very clear on that.
  22. I don't think the Raiders would trade Moss for a backup QB. Who knows, but I doubt it.
  23. Sorry, pal. But this won't play in Peoria.
