  1. My wife wants Albert @ 11.............tonight.
  2. Point being, The OL & DL are more important. I understand it's not foolproof, but fortifying the lines is always smart. Not to mention we're an injury away from trouble. It seems to me a false sense of security with our OL.
  3. That's a fair assumption. Should we pass on him, and make no bones, we should, he drops well into the teens.
  4. How exactly have the Lions fared with their WRs, who, BTW, were MUCH more heralded than this group.? Trenches, my friend. It begins and ends with the OL & DL. EVERYTHING else works off of them.
  5. OL or DL doesn't matter to me. As long as it's not one of these friggin WRs.
  6. Just goes to show you are an expert. All along I thought you were just a frivolous, idiotic poster. I stand corrected.
  7. Green Bay 1st selection - TE Dustin Keller .......2nd selection - TE Martellus Bennett....Interesting. Is the Pack down on Donald Lee?
  8. Weird? For sure. Why no scouts?. Something to hide. 2nd rounder? In his dreams.
  9. I just want to know one thing. Did he give ANYTHING back to the community?
  10. So he's a lousy 1st round pick but a great 2nd round pick........not in my book. This guy is a 3rd rounder. Any earlier and I'll be surprised and pissed. There are better options at WR and other positions.
  11. Tipster, I too would like Harvey @ 11, but Albert would be a nice consolation. Beefing up and bettering the OL makes all skill positions better.
  12. This post just reinforces my stance. Just say no to WR at 11.
  13. Of these destinations, JP competes for starter in all but Washington, IMO.
  14. Hasselbeck is 32 friggin years old...THEY DON'T NEED A QB! As mentioned above, Wallace has been more than adequate as a backup as well.
  15. This will probaly knock Larry Csonka's nose out of place, but I'll say Jim Kiick.
  16. Now wait a minute. You may be on to something here. We could sign Henry and bring in the Charles Manson to mentor this kid. Things might be Helter Skelter for a while but everyone deserves another shot, right?
  17. Well, he is (was) a Bengal. He has 3 more lives, doesn't he?
  18. Not as stupid as some team actually agreeing to trade a high 2 for him.
  19. I think addressing the TE is more important to our offense than a WR. Adding a quality player in the trenches, OL or DL, is far more impactful. Of course, I'm talking about the 11th pick. If we trade down and acquire another 1st, then we can talk WR while also selecting a Balmer, Merling, Otah etc. Staying put at 11, maximizing our selections, drafting a WR is not a part of the equation IMO.
