    Favre>Bledsoe is an understatement. Knows to stay retired? In the spirit of fairness, Bledsoe didn't retire, he faded away. Nobody wanted him. Think if he came out of "retirement" he'd get a call?

    On the whole, DB had a "good" career. The numbers suggest this. Fact is, when you move your eyes off the numbers and fix them on him for a good chunk of his career, he was just not "that" good. That 77.1 career rating is awful, BTW. He's a "compiler". NO WAY he gets in.

    If he goes to Minnesota he goes between rounds 7 & 8 depending on the size of the league. His biggest affect, IMO, will be on AP. We all know about the runner and OL, but with a legit top end QB and Rice and Berrian running the outside, AP will have open lanes which is flat out scary. This is just what the Dr. ordered for AP should this deal go down.

    While I agree with the attention the team would get, the groundswell would be for Favre. I want him here to win me some playoff games, I doubt he could be the savior of the franchise from the perspective you offer, buftex.
