  1. And thank you for your usual "abridged" version of a topic that is absolutely not worth discussing. You puking up 10 paragraphs doesn't validate Drew's induction into the HOF. Give it up, he garners no support here nor should he. You want a fact? Here's one, Bledsoe isn't good enough to get into the hall.
  2. Drew Bledsoe=Bert Blyleven I don't care what the #s say, he gets in like I do. By purchasing a ticket.
  3. Hey, they can stick one of the many DBs at LT. Ya figure they can at least slow down a speed rusher, right? Come on, we don't need depth on the line. keep them Dbs comin'.....
  4. Agreed, he won't make it out of the 3rd round.
  5. Only if AJ can stay on the field, he's already getting nicked. He scares me.
  6. If he goes to Minnesota he goes between rounds 7 & 8 depending on the size of the league. His biggest affect, IMO, will be on AP. We all know about the runner and OL, but with a legit top end QB and Rice and Berrian running the outside, AP will have open lanes which is flat out scary. This is just what the Dr. ordered for AP should this deal go down.
  7. Me too. Nothing a little antacid won't cure.
  8. PTR, this is all you have to say? I want to give up a measly 3rd rounder for the guy and get pummeled, and Trader Vick wants to give him RJ.....eeerrr....JP AND what's his name .......oh yea.....Peters?!?!?! You may not agree with my plight, but it's far more reasonable, don't ya think?
  9. TAKE....ME....TO....YOUR.......LEADER
  10. I can scratch off viagra from my list of things to get at the local apothecary.....if this true. What does one do if the erection lasts longer than 4 hours?
  11. What team doesn't have question marks? A proven, quality QB can make all you mentioned better. Don't you think?
  12. Nice response, eball. You nailed each issue perfectly.
  13. While I agree with the attention the team would get, the groundswell would be for Favre. I want him here to win me some playoff games, I doubt he could be the savior of the franchise from the perspective you offer, buftex.
  14. I'm sure you meant to say the PERCEIVED risk and perceived rewards.
  15. I was wondering who would be the first to say ......."I wonder who will be the first to say Favre"...... This board is so friggin predictable.
  16. Here's why I want to bring him in. I'm going on the premise that all the other moves that have been made over the past couple of years (fortified OL, improved secondary, big red zone target, improved DL interior) will actually work and improve us substantially. IF this is the case, my only apprehension is what to expect from TE. I like him. I want him to QB my Bills for the future. BUT.....if we can bring in a tried /true gamer, a SB champ, a QB who thrives in dramatic situations, a QB who can go toe-to-toe with the Bradys and Mannings, a QB who TAKES others on his back in critical situations and produces, I want some of that. The downside? I've already heard and heed them. ...too many interceptions, it's all about him, he may dis us next year.....yadayadayada.... I say screw next year! This truly worth the gamble. I may be giving more credit to this roster than it deserves, but I feel it's an experienced, productive QB/leader away from competing with the big boys. I don't know about the rest of you, I want to win now. I think he gives us the best shot. TE will have his time. Brett can pass him the baton.
  17. Yeah, but all those picks and that chemistry thingy.......wouldn't work.
  18. But the NFL Network says adding Favre to the mix makes them an instant contender in the AFC. Surely, they jest.
  19. Give it up Chandler. All the pieces are in place for a major run. Haven't you heard? Chemistry is a byproduct that comes with all these pieces. Wouldn't want to disrupt this freight train that is the Buffalo Bills.
  20. Stop. Please. You're hurting my feelings. Now, you may have your opinion, obviously. Just don't make assinine comments about how all QBs on the Bills roster would be better than Favre. That is flat out wrong, if not completely stupid. I'll refrain from the name calling.
  21. Favre has mostly struggled indoors, hasn't he?
  22. I'd rather not get into comparing Johnsons, ok?
  23. I don't need Favre to mentor TE. I need him to perform. He'll do it better than any QB we have on this team. He'll do this for a year or two, then it's TE time. Do we want to win now or what? I'm getting mixed signals here. Oh, except from those who think Favre is, has been as always will be a bum.
