  1. McNabb was never coming. I would've taken McNabb, but at the right price. We've seen the best of McNabb. Manning, Brady, Rivers, etc........not exactly a news bulletin. My question of "who is this guy and does he exist" was more rhetorical than anything else. Fact is, you may THINK Clausen is the answer, but you just don't know. My fear is he's not. That would put us in a bad place should he turn out to be anything but great. Does one need a great QB to win? It would help certainly, but getting great QB play from a less than great QB is attainable if the right coach with the right scheme is in place. Montana and Brees come to mind when I think of right player in right place with right coach/system. Please, they are terriffic QB's in their own right, but man, I can't help but think they'd be less successful had they not landed where they did and with whom they were coached by.
  2. Does this player exist and is he available?
  3. Nice dream. Replace Campbell with Vick and I'm in. I think Vick is ready to ball.
  4. Agreed. By the time we're ready to win, LE will be at least 32. If someone offered up a first rounder, I'd jump on it. That offer isn't coming, IMO.
  5. Crackerdogs?!?! Is the 4H serving up new grub?
  6. I disagree with this. SD has Sproles. They need a banger.
  7. The crusade continues.
  8. Agreed on not wanting him. As far as McNabb sticking it to the Iggles......not with that surrounding cast in DC as we see it. Advantage Iggles.
  9. Y'all can have McCoy......are there any Hatfield's in this here draft?
  10. Correctumundo, muchacho! Precisely why I said what I said when I said it.
  11. Look, I don't fancy myself a GM, so lets just get that outta the way. All I know is it has worked time and again in the NBA. It all depends where your ping pong ball is selected. Since the Bills have the 9th pick, I figure this is an oppurtune time to employ this strategy. I can't provide a link for proof, but I just know this might work.
  12. I have to be honest. I'm looking for some lateral movement by this team.
  13. planet Hisanus
  14. I'm not looking to find blame, but if I were, I'd blame the architect.
  15. Perhaps Dhani Jones should spray?
  16. Indeed. It seems, sometimes, the best way to go about acquiring a franchise QB is by fate and/or shiit luck. By selecting a QB early in a draft assures nothing. All it does is ratchet up the emotion and expectation for this high pick to produce. Philosophically, I'm opposed to drafting a QB so early. Mainly, I'm afraid that if we fail on that pick it'll just set us back that much further. It seems prudent to draft one later and take your chances.
  17. If it is at all possible to draft TT earlier than the 1st round, I suggest we do so.
  18. If he's Chris Johnson "good", well, you've seen what he's done to that offense in Tennessee. His success despite a prolific passing attack was impressive. They will continue to evolve and thrive because of CJ's presence. Is Spiller THAT special?
  19. Question is, would the masses be more pissed with Spiller or Berry/Haden at #9?
  20. RIP Mr. Olsen. I thought Trumpy sucked.
  21. Me thinks it might be someone else's blindside he'll be protecting. The way things are going for Ben, someone might be attacking his "backside".
  22. Please stop with the "....I'd take him in the 3rd or later...." crap. There is NO WAY this kid falls out of the 2nd. NO WAY!
  23. It would be a surprise. As if things haven't been tough enough for the Lion's already, The Vikings remain a serious force as do the Packers. The Bears aren't fooling around either. If Martz gets his offense cranked up and the FO continues to pursue every worthy FA out there (Peppers, Taylor, etc), it will be difficult for the Lion's to go anywhere. This division is shaping up to be pretty tough.
  24. I think Clausen will be there........and beyond.
