  1. I guess your scenario is better than waking up wearing his jersey with 'ol chunky himself lying next to you.
  2. No. A dream scenario is getting McNabb for a 3rd round pick. Lynch and a 2nd for McNabb is a nightmare.
  3. No doubt the individual (McNabb) will be much better. Problem is, the rest is under construction. So, while you'll be surrendering what might amount to more than a #2 pick, we'll be learning a new offense and defense. That goes for McNabb, too. It won't be business as usual for him. By the time we're ready to roll, if the present regime provides what is needed, DM will be in what I would call his last good year. That's IF all goes well. There is no quick fix. Lightening ina bottle? Maybe. Don't count on it. Sustained success will take time.
  4. Exactly. Let's go the "perfume on a pig" route. Let's trade for McNabb.
  5. True, but it has to begin with OL IMO. Regardless who may be taking the snaps.
  6. Provided he has the OL to compliment. It's ALL about the trenches on BOTH sides of the ball.
  7. What are ya talkin' about there, Meathead, huhhh????
  8. Favre, D. Williams , Montana, S. Young, Elway. They weren't mobile.
  9. Fair point, though I'll give the new regime the benefit of the doubt and ....*gulp*......ASSUME their picks will be, how shall I say, relevant.
  10. Agreed, indeed. We won't end up with him. If somehow we do, I hope it's for less than a 2.
  11. Oh, well.....Ben has won 2 SB's and.....wait.................never mind.
  12. To be honest, having watched both play over the years, it's the 'ol eyeball test. I felt supremely confident when Warner had the ball in his hands. His accuracy and quick reads were uncanny. McNabb is a good QB, needless to say, and was very good at times. I often waited for him to make a poor read or throw behind a receiver. I just don't trust him in a big spot.
  13. He would have been far less accurate then Warner, that I can promise you.
  14. Sorry. Didn't mean to be so literal. Warner WILL be a HOF. McNabb won't be. Comprende muchacho? McNabb is no Warner.
  15. Oh, and Warner is a HOF. McNabb, not so much.
  16. I've never seen the middle of a defense so open, so often than in this past SB. There were no adjustments made. It was shocking, actually.
  17. And for dessert, would you prefer a jug of urine or a plate of fecal matter? I believe Shanny is looking past Campbell for a reason.
