  1. This would require a major committment to the run. If Chan is still the man, this aint happenin'.
  2. Also, the many that claim the injuries did us in. DOn't kid yourselves.
  3. When you look at this Bills roster, QB is way down the list of needs. If we can't get Luck, look elsewhere for your pick. There are so many other needs. A defensive heavy draft would work for me.
  4. As a manager, I like Bobby V.. Don't know his style will translate with this group of players. From Tito to Bobby, can"t get much different. This should be interesting.
  5. Adhering to your rather extreme choices I shall say..... out of towner and the team goes nowhere at break-neck speed. You asked.......
  6. Is it apathy so much or is it that you could care less either way?
  7. yep.....you left out "sufferin' suckatash".
  8. Yes it is! Who's hosting the elimination party?
  9. Just got off the horn with Andy Reid. He tells me he's not a big fan of this philosophy.
  10. Anyone care to comment on the state of the Sox/Yanks? Where they are, where they're going? YAnks will seemingly have a relatively quiet offseason by their standards. They will most certainly look to add pitching. The everyday lineup seems mostly set. Will Swish be the starter in RF? Who will DH? Platoon, perhaps? Does Gardner's play warrant him starting day 1 next season? Do they look to upgrade there? It seems the Yanks brass has become, shall I say, more patient with their own. Allowing the up and comers a chance to prove themselves. Being a Yankee fan, I like this. What of the Sox? What a tumultuous end of the season. Gone are Theo and Tito. You had John Henry driving around town listening to sports talk radio and feeling the need to stop into 98.5 FM studios (Felger/Maz) to speak his mind. How bizzarre!?!?!? He basically contradicted Lucchino who was on rival EEI days prior. Didn't look nor sound like this group was on the same page. Hey Carl, like Boston and your owner much? LAckey gone for 2012. Perhaps a good thing, all considered. Papelbon gone. This has flown under the radar. Bard? Is he ready to take over? Not by his performance late last season. Ortiz, coming back? RF goes to whom? Pitching questions abound. Damage control in overdrive. Does anyone really believe with all that has transpired at Yawkey Way recently that snot nosed Ben Cherington will call the shots easrly on in his tenure as GM? Not in my opinion. Not with all the upheaval. Thoughts?
  11. I had this team winning no more than 5 games. That said, even when we were pulling those comebacks out our ass, I was not trumpeting how AWESOME they were as many did. I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but this team just isn't any good. It is just now showing in a very, very ugly way. Can't wait for the "I BILLIEVE" crew to jump in and spin this. Just spare me the !@#$ing excuses as you do it.
  12. Yessir! This is not a playoff team as presently constituted. We have some pieces in place, but make no mistake this isn't a playoff caliber team. Injuries didn't help for sure, but the FO has some work to do.
  13. Are you assuming a sweep of the Dolphins? I wouldn't necassarily bank on that happening. We're not good enough to assume any victory over any opponent.
  14. Love that we're 5-2!! Love it! But.....KC sucks, particularly when we had 'em. They should've lost last night, too. Washington sucks, too. I wonder if we could have beaten them if we had Thigpen in there, no Freddie and no Stevie. juuust sayin......two unlikely comebacks and who here didn't think we'd beat Cincy going into that game? Just keepin' it real..,....love that we're 5-2!!! beat the JETS!!!! This game vs Jets will go a long way in determining our relevance, imo.
  15. I could care less what Clayton says. We're not a playoff caliber team yet. 1 more good offseason and we will be. I'm good with this.
