    Well then - it’s a good thing we don’t have a game next week. It’s a work in progress. I’m confident the WR position will be addressed sufficiently. It’s still early.

    Shakir gonna get his shot this year. He’s earned that. The draft will have to bear fruit. I think Beane realizes what’s needed and will aggressively attack the draft.

    That’s half of it. He’s culled the herd. Time to identify young talent for the next iteration.

    Rapp sits atop the depth chart today. I doubt he maintains this to start the season. I can see an addition by FA and mid round pick. We’ve been spoiled by the previous tandem. The attention to safety will be met with satisfaction imo.

    I’m not advocating for this, nor do I think it happens. But the notion that it didn’t work out 10 years ago doesn’t mean they can’t get it right in the future.
