I was trying to get at the idea of where they have stockpiled picks. They have the 6th pick in the second round 38th overall and the 15th pick in the second round or 47th overall and this is supposedly where the value is. also they got rid of the 7th pick overall in the first round where the value ain't. I just thought this was very smart. Also given that they coached at the senior bowl they probably have a great idea of the player's personalities.

I'm thinking Oakland has been smart with the trades they have made. They got rid of the 7th pick in the first round where the value is not to land Moss and added a second round and third round pick where the value is. I think Oakland would also be a good judge of the talent at the top too because their staff coached the North at the Senior Bowl. Anyway do others concur?

You got 'er dead on. As far as QBs in the league there are not too many I like. I do not care for Brady but will give him his due. Peyton Manning is too much like Dan Marino for me to like him. I thought maybe given that Madden like to kiss his backside so much Favre would be on the cover. Plus since this will probably be his last season it would be a nice tribute. Favre is also well liked by most. Was he ever on the cover of Madden before?

I make little doubt Donahoe will make a move in this draft. His first draft we traded down in the first round from 14 to 21. In his second we traded up to get Denney. In his third draft he moved down in the third round with Green Bay to add a fourth round pick. In Last years draft we traded up to get JP. I make no doubt TD will make a move. I just do not know what it will be. He may move up he may move down I just do not know what he will do.

Yeah that is pretty interesting. I remember when they showed the video for the JP trade that was exciting as well. I thought it was interesting they were looking at defensive ends and defensive tackles perhasps they knew pat williams would be walking.

Think about all the good late round centres as of late. Daniel Koppen of the Pats and Justin Hartwig of the Titans. Unless the guy is amazing I still do not think you use much higher than a fourth round pick on a centre. I do not know whatever happened to him but Jason Ball was amazing for the Chargers and he was not even drafted.

Sorry that came out wrong. I do not think we will have the cap room to re-sign him when his deal is up and if we do not have the cap room to re-sign him we will defienetly not have the cap room to franchise him as the first year is the cheapest.

I completely agree. This team defienetly needs a number 3 receiver. I thought Bobby Shaw was going to fill that role nicely but we all know how that ended up. I would prefer we bring in a veteran because it takes so long for rookie wide receivers to develop. does anyone know if there are any good vet still out there? As far as the draft wide receiver is a deep position this year and I agree with those who have been hyping up Matt Jones. I am sure a good wideout will fall to us.
