    I find Mularkey always sounds like this. I thought he sounded like this in the press conference when JP was named the starter. I think some of it just might be that he is not comfortable talking to the media.

    It took me much time to like Mularkey and Lee Evans, however now that time has past I have grown quite fond of both of them. If these guys come in and contribute I am sure people will warm up to them.

    Hey Mularkey coached Plaxico Burress in Pittsburgh. I am sure he is atleast as intelligent as Burress. Yes I do realize that Burress has about 8 inches and 50 pounds on Parrish.

    I like the pick, though I am not sure I love the pick because I think Euhus could be close to as good.

    I find it amazing that he beat Winslow in a foot race yet in my sporting news draft preview magazine it said he cannot streach a defense. I thought Winslow was as fast as Shockey who can defienetly streach a defense.

    I agree whenever they showed him when the brodcast would come back from commercial or go to commercial he seemed strange. i guess as lnog as his teammates respect him.

    Did Berman always know who San Diego would draft or was this the first time he also made the reference with San Diego? I realize the ties between San Diego's current front office and Buffalo with AJ Smith et al.

    I was not very impressed when David Pollack was singing "Why do birds suddenly appear". I do think he will be a Schobelesque type player, though.

    I agree Parrish can have an immediate impact on Special teams. Not so sure on receiver it even too Lee Evans a few games to become a solid contributer. That is why if we were going to upgrade our 3rd WR I would have liked to have done it in free agency.

    I think many solid LTs go in the second round. Matt Light of the Patriots and Marvel Smith of the Steelers just to name a couple. Also even if we draft a LT in the second there is no gurantee he could come in and be as good as our present options Gandy and Teague.

    I think they may have been punished for being over the cap. It upsets me how the NFL has never gotten serious about detering them from chop blocks. Denver = dirtiest team in the NFL.

    I was not neccesarily refering to you. I just reffering to the people around here who have been clamouring for a cornerback.

    Lets just wait to see him play before we judge him. People who have been arguing that CB is a need because Nate Clements is a free agent next year must also admit receiver is a need because Eric Moulds could just as easily be a free agent due to his cap number.

    I tried to raise this point the other day. Do you really think that Shelton would be a drastic upgrade over Teague or Gandy? I do not. I trust McNally if hw had really coveted Shelton TD would have gotten it done.

    I wouldn't be disappointed with him. I just prefered Barnes. Dave-Te Thomas got me high on the guy. has great footwork and ran the best 40 time of a tackle.

    I think the Vikes did that on purpose to save cash because they would not have to pay out as high a bonus to a later pick.

    Jacksonville is pretty stacked at LT with Mike Pearson, Eprhraim Sallaam and now Barnes. You think they would consider trading Salaam or Pearson?

    I thought he was goibg to fall to us. there was a topic here asking us if we could have any player who would it be and I said KHALIF BARNES quite emphaticaly. anyway is anyone else disappointed?

    With Barron now of the board do you think a run on Offensve Tackles will start?

    I say do not keep him he has been injured last season and his rookie season. Also if Carolina had so much confidence in him why did they ever sign Stephen Davis. Having said that it is difficult to answer given that I do not know who else you could keep.

    I had this thought. In all honesty I am starting to think a veteran #3 wr would upgrade this team more than LJ Shelton. Not joking even a little bit. Do you really think he would be that much more of an upgrade over Teague or Gandy? I know if we put Teague at tackle Ross Tucker will probably start at centre, however I am fine with this, as I think Ross Tucker was steady last season.

    The only thing we have to be certain of is that we do not have another troy edwards on our hands. Troy had similar stats his first season and we know what has happened since. troy edwards stats. Also troys downfall was that he was too small and he and lee possess similar size. I do not want this to happen it is just a possibility.
