  1. For myself it is hard to judge because I was only a youngen when Reed played. I simply say Reed but it is probably because I associate him more with winning. I am not the best judge.
  2. Given that I think he ran the fastest 40 of all of the tackle prospects and LTs tend to be the more athletic type I would assume LT. Sporting News compares him to Kyle Turley who is a RT. So perhaps he can play both tackle spots.
  3. 2003 was an incredible draft that I give Donahoe much credit for. Usually teams are happy with 2 starters per draft and Donahoe got 3 McGahee, Kelsay and Mcgee. If by some odd chance Aiken becomes a #3 receiver (unlikely with Roscoe) and Crowell who apparently has been great on special teams becomes a starter say by beating out Posey it will just be a bonus.
  4. I think it's a reference to Ralph questioning the smash mouth football that Mularkey advertised at his arrival, which initially appeared to not be working with the 0-4 start.
  5. I am actually more enamoured with Euhus and Everett. but Campbell and Everett, whatever works.
  6. I think playing a hard a$$ in trade negotiations evenutally come back to bit you in the butt.
  7. I did not want to imply that he was on the trading block in my post. Sorry if it appeared that way. I just thought with Pearson and now Khalif Barnes they would consider moving him.
  8. Do you think Jacksonville would consider trading this guy? They are pretty stacked at left tackle now with Mike Pearson and now that they have drafted Khalif Barnes. As far as what we would give to Jacksonville I am unsure, but when you look at how many games he has started, throughout his career he must be pretty solid. A starting offensive line of LT- Salaam LG- Anderson C-Teague RG-Villariall RT-Williams sounds pretty solid to me.
  9. The other thing about our tight ends is that they are guearanteed to get great coaching given that Mularkey was a tight end. I am sure that others have said as much. The only thing I am worried about is that the tight end was never highly involved in the passing game during his time in Pittsburgh. Perhaps this was only because of a lack of talent at the position given that Pittsburgh used its first round pick on a tight end.
  10. Given Calico's size in all honesty I think he has the pottential to develop into the next Terrell Owens call me crazy. Also this is no knock against Lee Evans or Roscoe Parrish, but it would be nice to add a receiver with good size, which Calico possess.
  11. I was only 8 years old at the time. I remember the game as well as can be, though. To a certain extent, though do you think we have to thank KillDrive for this win for passing the ball so much. I also did not realize that Beebe or possibly Tasker stepped out of bounds and went on to catch a pass and this should have penalty. I do not want take anyhting away from the win. Now having said that Frank Reich deserves much credit for getting us out of many tough jams. Down the streach last year I don't know know about you guys but this was the most excited about the Bills I had been since the teams in the 90's who went to the Super Bowl.
  12. Now that I have had a chance to calm down after the draft I have a question for those College football buffs about Everett. How good do you think he can be? I know he hasn't prooven anything in the NFL yet but I expect him to and that is Kellen Winslow Jr. Do you think Everett could be as good as say Shockey, Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten, Kellen Winslow jr. in time? I know that is asking alot of Everett to be as good as those guys I am just curious.
  13. I agree with what many people when they say that you cannot fully evaluate a draft untill a few years down the road and I think that will be the case with this draft.
  14. I actually liked American Dad, though as many have said to me perhaps because it was so much like Family Guy. As far as Family Guy I am worried I am getting my expectations to high and that it will disappoint me.
  15. I am a huge CFL fan (as you could probably tell by my avatar if you follow the CFL). Anyway what is really is there was a CFL team the defunct Ottawa Roughriders I think who actually drafted a dead guy.
  16. Why do you think they include the un-signed players like Pussywillow, Marcus Price, Izell Reese and Bradford Banta. Is it that they could be back? I thought Banta retired so I doubt he would be back.
  17. I did not attend any Bills games last year, but I did see each and every game on Sunday Ticket. The only position I am really worried about is left tackle. I think if our line is Gandy, Anderson, Teague, Villariell and Williams I am really happy because it means Ross Tucker is on the bench it means he is depth and I thought he was quite solid last year. Essentially I think if Teague is our left tackle ross tucker is our centre or if Teague remains at centre Gandy is our left tackle. I do not know enough to comment on the possibility of Jason Peters at left tackle.
  18. Yes, TD, TM the scouts are far more informed that any of us fans are. I want Roscoe Parrish to be a player and I want Kevin Everett to be a player. The fact that these guys are far more informed than us fans does not mean they don't make major mistakes. For example, I think you may grant that TD made a mistake in Pittsburgh when he drafted Troy Edwards. As fans I think we should be there to criticsize when they do screw up on players like Troy Edwards.Having said that TD probably does things we are not capable of such as picking players like Hines Ward, Darren Perrey and Joey Porter.
  19. There might be some truth to what you are saying. I do not want this to be a knock on Roscoe Parrish it is just that I have a hard time believing that there was not someone else on the board who could have helped us more.
  20. I thought I remember reading in the Buffalo News on-line last year that he was going to be a breakout player in training camp, however I do not think this ever happened because he spent so much of last season on the practice roster. I thought the only true knock on him was that he could not stay healthy so perhaps he might start eventually.
  21. It tends to make sense because I think when Josh Reed was selected it was to replace Peerless and Josh Reed was selected in the second round just like Roscoe Parrish. Now having said that I do not like the idea of having two starting wide receivers under six feet tall. Also correct me if I am wrong here but the conventional wisdom is that you use a second round pick to get a starter not a third receiver.
  22. TD does not seem like he worries about injuries see Willis and Everett. I just wonder what it says about Wilkerson if he had Everett and Parrish graded ahead of him.
  23. I agree we put guys like Jamie Nails and Joe Panos in at right gaurd for a long time.
  24. People got it dead on about Denver's o-line. I just wonder why more teams do not try to copy their style. chop block, chop block and more chop block. Sure it is dirty, but at this point in time the league does not seem to be committed to stoping it. They keep giving Dan Neil fines, but he keeps on chop blocking.
  25. I think Evans by a hair. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought I remember hearing that Lee Evans ran a 4.33 forty and Roscoe Parrish ran a 4.37 forty.
