  1. Kellen Winslow JR reminds me of Randy Moss. I know Kellen Winslow jr hasn't prooven a damn thing, however he seems like he has emmence talent at TE.
  2. I cannot believe no one has mentioned the most overrated player in NFL history IMHO. Zach Thomas. Announcers always go on about how good he is and it bothers me to no end. I think of him as Miami's version of former Bill Ruben Brown goes to the Pro Bowl damn near every year but does not merit it. Zach Thomas misses more tackles than he makes and people rave about how good he is plus he plays for Miami that is why I hate him the most.
  3. I am quite happy to find out he did 10 reps of 225. As far as 8-10 tds I would have to admit that he would be worth a 2nd rounder if he did this most of his career not just for one season By my count Dante Hall had 3 tds last season so the high td season was an exception. As far as the Randle El and Dante Hall comparrisons they have a good 15-20 pounds on Roscoe. Randle El started a fair amount last year. I should have clairified here I have doubts that Roscoe Parrish will ever become a regular starter given his lack of size and hence his lack of ability to shake the jam at the line of scrimmage. Where as Randle El will most likely be a full time starter this year with the departure of Burress. What I am trying to say is and hopefully I am wrong is I think Parrish will never be a full time starter in his career as a WR and I think a second round pick was a high pick to use on someone who will never start in his career. Anyway thank you for your responses, which will give me something more to think about.
  4. I realize this pick has been debated to death, however I have been giving it a fair amount of thought over the past couple of days and wanted to weigh in. The more thought I give to this pick the more I dislike it. I think when you select players in the 2nd round generally you are trying to pick starters and I do not think Roscoe Parrish can ever be a starter. I was doing some searching trying to find out his bench and squat numbers and was not successful. I take it that this might be because he did not participate in these drills. I bring these up because I think in order to be even a #2 receiver you must possess the strength to be shake bump & run coverage and I do not think Roscoe will be able to do this. Also every thing I read says he does not have the frame to put on more muscle. Anyway I think unless this team is going to run an Indianapolis Colts type offense and really get the #3 receiver involved in the passing game like the Colts do with Brandon Stokley a 2nd round pick is too high to use on a slot receiver / reteurn man. Terrence Murphy went three picks later to the Packers and I think he would have been a better pick if this team wanted a receiver simply because he might be able to eventually develop into a starter something I do not see Roscoe Parrish being able to do. People have been making the Marvin Harrison comparrison and I hope they are right and that Roscoe will have the size to be a #1 or #2 receiver. Also I will gladly eat crow on this one and hope that Roscoe becomes a great player. I would be quite happy to eat my words.
  5. The best thing I like about JP is that he doesn't sound phony. When I watched Drew he would say the right things, but it always sounded forced and phony, however with JP it sounds real and authentic.
  6. I agree Bills fans probably should hate the Patsies more, however I do not know what it is nobody gets me more angry than the Dolfelons.
  7. I actually thought the run blocking when Killdrive wasv here was pretty good and this contributed to TH's success. I think he may have been offered the Cornell HC job.
  8. I thought killdrive's biggest downfall was his play calling the offense his last season here was just so damn predictable. This made it easy for oppossing defenses because they knew it would be a pass and they could pressure Drew.
  9. I said Gandy, even though Teague might take his spot at LT. I think if he ends up winning the Starting LT spot that will be a major impact. I think Kelly Holcomb was a great signing, but I would be quite content if he never saw the field.
  10. Good read. The audio did not seem to be working too well, though.
  11. Chad Brown is getting long in the tooth. I do not think this will be a problem for Bellichicik, though as he has gotten great production from older players like Otis Smith and Roman Phifer. I think this will be yet another solid fairly cheap signing for the Pats.
  12. I like him. I think he is RT and this team needs a LT. At the right price, though sure. The article also says he is not a great athlete and I think you need a great athlete to man the LT position.
  13. JP's been getting a lot of good press lately. Mel Kiper now this. I've said it many times, but I'll say it again I'm trying not to get overly excited about JP because I do not want to be disappointed. I want him to be a player, though.
  14. That is Suhweet!!! I was worried they were going to try and pass it of as game worn, which it could not be since Kelly never played in the new jerseys.
  15. You must register to read the article. I do not feel like signing up. could you give us a summary.
  16. The o-line started to come together as soon as Ross Tucker was inserted into the starting lineup. Ross Tucker might not be spectacular, but he is steady.
  17. I think this is an option: LT-Teague LG-Anderson C-Tucker RG-Villarriall RT-Williams. I am not sure what Gandy's potential is, however I do not think people should be in a ruch to push Ross Tucker out of the starting line up.
  18. Eddie George's talent has been in steady decline the past few season. Tennessee knew what they were doing when they cut him. I voted for Zeroue only because I do not think he is old and washed up.
  19. He got what he deserved. I am a little shocked, though because if TO holds out they will be a little thin at WR.
